PPengguna TetamuOne of the best accommodation we have ever experienced! when we arrived we have been greeted with a smile by Ms. May and her staff in their cozy cafe and the paper for checking has been prepared. We were informed with every detail for the activity that are available at the location. Every time we have a request we are always being catered with a genuine bright smile. Note that there place is astoundingly beautiful, neat and clean. What you see on their photos are what exactly it is in person. Free breakfast are also so delish, there daing na Bangus is a must try! what makes an accommodation enjoyable is not just the place itself, but also the staff and the people that works in it, Big thanks to Ms. May for the service she and her team have provided, we remember every kindness and smile you have shared with us, you made our staycation memorable and would definitely comeback! hoping your place got the recognition it deserves soon!

PPengguna TetamuGood -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals).
Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here.
Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement.

Air-conditioned room, phone and satellite tv (requires load by site). On site generator to support power blackouts. Nice garden like feel, gated and fenced. On site parking (minimal). Christmas lights set up for the season. New three-story expansion currently being built (but no impact to stay). Stocked in room mini bar. Shower water flow good. Nice on site pool (3-4 ft deep). Nice ocean views, Koi pond and sitting areas. Dogs and cats (3 ea) live on site.
Bad -Food order ~3 hr in advance, prices are a bit higher than normal, breakfast night before. Some items on menu not available. Room is very small mostly bed and small area to walk around. Bathroom local size challenge for larger people (toilet to wall space). Plumbing not support flushing of TP, place in holding bin. Shower heater wall switch should be labeled. Switch is in same stack of switches as bath lights. Refrigerator and mini bar stocked. (bug spray recommended for foreigners as mosquitoes can get in the room). Located on main roadway. A short drive to other things in the area. No beach (small gravel area), surf can be strong at back of property. Kayaks appeared usable but life jackets were questionable (suggest replacing) unless experienced seemed more like yard art. Amenity kit provided (bar soap was crumbled and could not be used, shampoo was barely enough for one shower (suggest abandon and provide home made or none at all).
Ugly -Local purified drinking water provided in plastic pitcher (not enough for two people per/day and no way to know where from), can ask for more but not convenient. Spouse incurred sickness from bad (other) water during stay.

Jjtudela15We stayed in the Presidential Suite at Star Plaza Hotel. The room service staff was friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked fine for our needs. The breakfast was good except the ham. Other hotel restaurant food options were good.
However, we were disappointed to find that the hot water in the shower wasn’t working, which was unexpected for a suite of this level. The laundry service was also unavailable, and when we first entered the room, there was a strong vinegar smell that took some time to fade.
Overall, while there were some positives, the issues made the experience feel below expectations for a Presidential Suite. We hope improvements can be made.

MmrtnkayeWe enjoyed our stay and loved that the resort isn’t crowded — perfect if you want a quiet and relaxing beach. The food was surprisingly good for the price and they provide free drinking water so you can just refill your tumblers. There are also nearby restaurants and tourist spots, and they can arrange a tricycle driver if you don’t have a car. The staff were very kind and even assisted us with an early checkout before their official opening time.
A few downsides: there was a bad smell in the bathroom when we arrived, no amenities were provided, and we had to request blankets. The restaurant area is also not very visible yet and seems like it’s still being improved.
Still, we had a great stay overall and would definitely return. Thank you!

GGlobe TrekkerI chose this property because it is near to our relatives home, besides it is a simple place to stay not luxury but just good enough for our family, this property needs some renovation and must consider the number of guests in each apartment regarding the kitchen tools and towels..etc
I found it strange there are no bowls in the kitchen we couldn’t make soups because there are no bowls to use
The toilet soap quality is very bad it has no fragrance scent like other competitors accommodation properties elsewhere

LLisett GarciaI recently stayed at Spotlight Hotel in Alaminos, Philippines, and while there were some positive aspects, I feel there is room for improvement.
The staff and receptionist were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which was the highlight of our stay. They went out of their way to assist us with our luggage and provided helpful services throughout our visit, which we greatly appreciated.
However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was disappointing. There were noticeable molds on the walls, and the drainage emitted an unpleasant smell, which impacted our comfort. Additionally, the lack of an elevator made it challenging to move around, especially with heavy luggage.
I also found the lost key policy to be a bit strict. We were charged 500 pesos (around $8.58), which felt a bit excessive for the situation.
While I appreciate the efforts of the staff, addressing these concerns would significantly enhance the experience for future guests.

WWerner1Ich möchte dieses Hotel eingeschränkt weiter empfehlen! Zunächst ist dieses Hotel bei der ersten Anreise schwierig zu finden, weil es keine Hinweis-Schilder (Straßen- und/oder Hotelschilder wie für andere Hotels) gibt! Ich habe die preiswerteste Kategorie gebucht und deshalb kann man natürlich nicht den gleichen Standard erwarten aber in dem Wohn-/Schlafraum fehlte es an einem Schrank oder Regal, mindestens jedoch an mehr Aufhängehaken! Toilette und Dusche (perfekt!) waren in einem Raum und deshalb war dieser Raum permanent unter Wasser. Aus dem Wasserhahn des Waschbeckens kam nur ein minimales „Rinnsal“ und der Abfluss funktionierte nur sehr langsam (vielleicht verstopft)! Fehlende Handtücher müssen ggf. nachgeordert werden! Bei ausgebuchtem Hotel kann der Parkraum knapp werden! WLAN gab‘s nur im öffentlichen Bereich (das war aber auch so kommuniziert)! Nach dem Abendessen im nachbarschaftlichen Restaurant hatte ich am nächsten Tag einen Durchfall (Magenproblem wegen dem Gemüse)!

LLiezl ValdezA little bit disappointed kasi pagpasok mo palang ng room incomplete siya. Wala man lang naka steady na cups , water, sabon, toothpaste, etc. Hindi refreshing ang amoy and the toilet and bathroom is not clean. And medyo napuyat kasi till 12am ata yung music at may kasama pang bata. They did not even consider yung blanket na hndi kasya yun sa isang tao lang so pinabayaran payung extra blanket well infact dapat tig isa naman dapat yun kasi bayad naman yung room as 6 .
But the positive side is mabavait yung staff nila at the location of the resort is maganda dahil malalapit siya sa mga tourist spots sa bolinao.

UUnderthestarsIt was a pleasant stay. The place is nice, instagrammable. It’s actually pretty. Overlooking the ocean. I just have some issues though. We stayed at the ground suite 1. The water in the toilet bowl is slow to replenish. No hot water in the shower. And no restaurant around so we need to order in their sister resort with a 250 charge. A little far also to the main beach. So we were outside most of the time.
The place is good for a group and better if you bring your own food.
