The bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding. The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. Tui Blue Bahari is 5*+ There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside. There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient. The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage. If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish. The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked. Overall though 9.5/10 I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Every morning I was able to do yoga on the beach with my own yoga mat. From the resort you can walk right into the water. The food here was excellent. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers we’ve ever had, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The only downside is that it is beside a club that plays relatively loud music from around 3 PM to around 10 PM. We were there from Friday to Sunday, so perhaps they don’t play during the weekdays. I am still happy to give them a really good rating because the music turned off at 10 PM when we were ready to go to sleep. The only other thing I would add is they list a gym as part of their amenities but they have just wooden barbells and a covered space. However, their pool is really nice and their Jacuzzi was quite a treat after swimming in the ocean.

From the moment we stepped inside the reception to the time we checked out, we had the most memorable stay. The whole resort was beautifully presented, clean, luxurious and peaceful. We booked the partial sea view room and it was fabulous from all the little details inside to the private verandah outside, perfect for relaxing whilst reading a book or watching the boats go by on the sea. The infinity pool was in pristine condition, the breakfast and dinner buffet had a great selection and the Jetty restaurant was convenient for lunch too. The service all round was exceptional, everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We will be recommending Essque Zalu Zanzibar to our friends and family and are looking forward to visiting again!

This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

I had an amazing stay at Nungwi Beach Front Hotel in Zanzibar! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the ocean views and relax by the water. The hotel was impressively clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they made us feel right at home. While the amenities weren’t quite five-star, they were more than enough for a comfortable stay. The lack of a TV and the occasional power outages didn’t bother us at all, as it gave us the perfect opportunity to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time together. Plus, it was very affordable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, authentic Zanzibar experience!

My friend and I came for 3 days and 2 nights and it was great! We arrived around 9am which was way before the check in time and they accommodated us so well and gave of coffee and fruit while they set up our room early! The room was way better than what we ever expected. The AC was the first we’ve had in our whole month stay in Tanzania! The room was spacious, had patio seating private to the room, a great bathroom, and very nice decor! Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to any needs. The location is great and a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great restaurant called Maisha that we ate at almost every night. The area felt very safe too! Even at the end of our trip our flight was at 10pm and they let us leave our bags at the hotel while we spent our day at the beach, and even let us come back to change and wait until our taxi came! Overall a great stay for a great price, we were so glad to have gotten the chance to stay here!

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎

Отель очень удобно расположен. Красивая дорожка к пляжу, через ресторанчик. Лежаки и зонтики бесплатно при отеле. Полотенца пляжные выдают на ресепшене. Возле этого отеля самая широкая часть пляжа, поэтому чтобы искупаться, нужно прости около 50 м по мягкому белому песку. Можно лечь у океана на полотенце, но там вас замучают местные ”фейк-массаи”, очень навязчивые, но безопасные. Поэтому лучше лежать на территории отеля, а чтобы искупаться, немого пройти. У самого океана я вещи не оставляла, в целях безопасности, на лежаках - спокойно. Завтраки вкусные. Сок свежевыжатый, каждый день разный. Тарелка фруктов, тосты, блиныи яичница с разными дополнениями (сосиски, говядина, грибы, бобы...). Цены в ресторане при отеле дороже немного, чем в других кафе, если кушать днем, слетается много мух и нападают на еду, по утрам их нет. (Я ходила рядом, слева от пляжа Furana ресторан, там мух нет, вкусно и красиво!!!) При отключении электричества, в отеле есть генератор, без электричества не останетесь. С водой тоже проблем не было, немного слабый напор только. Обязательно купите переходник, английские розетки. Иначе по приезду не сможете подзарядить телефон. Персонал - просто супер! Девочки на ресепшен и горничные восхитительны! Отдельное им спасибо! Номер простой, но в целом нормальный, учитывая, что это Африка, изысков не ждите. Кондиционер работал хорошо. Фен был. В отеле в основном иностранцы, из русских я была одна, но в соседней Тропикане очень много соотечественников. Чтобы произвели уборку в номере необходимо ключ оставить на ресепшен. Воду так же можно каждый день брать на ресепшене. Отель мне понравился! Однозначно могу сказать вернулась бы сюда! Цена - качество! Сейчас переехала на Нунгви - здесь мне не нравится, пляж намного хуже, с лежаками проблема, много лодок в море и толпы прилипал. И цены в ресторанах не дешевле, чем на Кендве. Если вас интересует пляж и океан однозначно - Кендва. Если отдыхаете с детьми - тоже Кендва!
