LLynnlinJA nice, clean, well maintained Marriott property. The staff was the usual, courteous, people at these facilities. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was the usual, restful type found in most, if not all, Marriott properties. No problems and would stay there again.

HhoericWe chose to stay at Clovis which is not far from Fresno, after visiting the Yosemite National park. This holiday inn express offers above average accommodation, and there is a nice Japanese restaurant nearby (Japanese Kitchen) where we had a lovely dinner. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is nice. We didn’t get the chance to use the pool or spa. We only stayed one night as the next day we left for Bakersfield (en route visiting the Sequoia National Park). Overall it feels like a hotel for business travelers and it’s like a 3-star hotel.

First impression was clean. Appreciated having amenities like being dog-friendly and the mini fridge! The room was tidy, but I noticed a cockroach late at night and a face-stain(?) on the wallpaper. After that I sealed up my food to keep the roaches out, slept, and checked-out first thing in the morning.
I let the front-desk know about the roach. They said thank you and would let management know. I also noticed that they had a planned exterminator visit at the end of the month posted on the wall behind the desk…

KKEITHThe room was acceptable. However, due to their remodeling, half the parking was taken up with construction equipment. Checking back into the hotel after work at 11pm proved impossible because there was zero parking spots available. I chose to recover my bags and check out versus risk parking on the street. And they charge $10/night for parking. Hard to do when they have none available and are overbooked.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is near railroad tracks so if you're a light sleeper, which I'm not, might not work for you. The layout of my room (don't know about the others) is a little problematic. There's a door to the bathroom which doesn't have a fan which automatically closes, trapping all the humidity in there. Also in my particular room, probably partially related to the last item is that there was some black mold on some of the grout. The shower curtain wasn't installed correctly so it would gradually slide towards the center, defeating the purpose of even having a curtain. It looks like there must have been some flooding at some point because the bottom of the bathroom door had a lot of water damage.
But, the worst thing was the internet connectivity. This place had the worst I've ever experienced. I tried the wired and the wireless internet and maxed out at 4Mbps. Since I remote into work, this wasn't enough to make me even remotely productive.
On the positive side, the supplied breakfast was good.
I did let the lady at the front desk know about my experience; said she let maintenance know.

SSamantha LimlimWhen I booked the room I didn't know my cabin is without bathroom, until I got an email from the hotel giving me the access code to the bathroom. It wasn't that bad as I thought, the communal bathrooms and toilets are clean and just 10+ steps from the cabins. No window. Dirty bed covers with stainssss. Cabin wall is dusty, I have to wipe it all because my bed on the loft was right next against the wall. I can't comment on their service because the restaurant is closed for the winter, there's self- checkin, we didn't see any staff through out our stay. Overall it's still quite a pleasant stay for me. Like being in the nature.

PPengguna TetamuAll around pretty average, the lady upfront was very nice and very helpful, the guy on the other hand wasn’t. Room was okay not the worst but not the best I’ve been in, a/c unit was barely blowing cold and when I talked to the guy upfront he just shrugged me off. I also I tried to get ice from the ice machine and I got 2 cubes of ice and that was it. Fridge was broken and didn’t get cold and the microwave barely worked. The pool was very cold and the hot tub was lukewarm

PPengguna TetamuBath plug was stuck closed, had to pry it open and jam a the plug knob under it to have a shower without filling up the bath.
Ac wall control did not work, no extraction fan in toilet, door didn’t close fully, windows had not been cleaned in years by the look of them.
Very noisy room and people smoking outside out room and leaving smelly cigarette butts laying around.
Terrible place.
