The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

The accommodation was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable. The room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and every request I had — always with a smile and sincere kindness. Their helpfulness made my trip in Hue smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable. Vedana Lagoon Resort sits in the jungle hillside along the long Lagoon with various types of spacious and modern villas. Fresh air, birds inserts water sounds everywhere made this an unforgettable memory. Indoor heated swimming pool, two large outdoor pools with good sunset view, bicycles, free tai chi and yoga classes, spa at very reasonable prices. Massages vietnam style very good pressure. Staffs were all very friendly and try to help to make your stay enjoyable. Manager Ann is very good resort host. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Our experience at the hotel was more than we possibly could have expected before coming. First of all, the territory surrounded by the beautiful rice paddies is something absolutely unique. Garden, pool, a small lake, an artificial waterfall, lots of colourful fishes - it’s was so enjoyable to take a rest closer to nature from the hustle and bustle of the city. The other thing is the people: the hotel staff is simply excellent. Everyone we interacted with was willing to help and do their best to make us feel comfortable. It's difficult to single out anyone, as a great vacation is a team effort. Many thanks for our wonderful vacation!

Having stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special. The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

We decided to book our last night in Hue at this hotel after accidentally passing by it. The exterior part looks much nicer than the interior, as we found out after checking in. We thought that this hotel is very new because of its exterior, but acctually it is not. The location is very convinient, close to the main area with a lot of restaurants and nightlife options. We booked a ”deluxe suite”, which was a bit more expensive, primarily because of the windows. Pay attention that the cheapest categories of the rooms DO NOT have windows, which might be dissapointing for some guests. I suggest to pay a bit more for having a room with a window. Our ”suite” was rather small and very basic. The pictures are quite realistic, so you can trust them. The rooms in the front face a constraction site, so you might hear some noise. The TV and the AC worked propely. There is NO pool in this hotel and the staff consists of receptionists only (NO concierge or bellboy service). The girls are friendly and supportive, they allowed us to check out a bit later, as we had our train in the afternoon. The lobby serves also as a breakfast place, there is no designated area for having a breakfast. In our booking the breakfast was included. It is rather basic and is more suitable for local tourists' taste, but western guests won't stay hungry. We particularly liked banana pancakes and their version of pork dimsums. Furits, soup and egg dishes are also available. All in all, this is a very good and affordable option for a short stay in Hue.

When I arrived no one was there to help me bring my cases up the starts. Staff was very friendly at reception. Rooms are pretty dated but clean. The swimming pool was out of service, it was the main reason I booked the hotel. Best thing about the hotel is the location

I had the most amazing stay at Angsana Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities, but what truly makes it special is the people who work there. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction – always smiling, always polite, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Whether it was at the reception, in the restaurants, by the pool, or even the housekeeping team, everyone showed such care and attention to detail that made me feel completely at home. What impressed me the most was that it wasn’t just about good service – it felt sincere. The team really takes pride in making guests happy, and you can feel that in the little things, like remembering your preferences, greeting you by name, or checking if you’re enjoying your stay. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and close to many local attractions. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back!

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.
