Silver Cloud Hotel

We had a great stay at silver cloud! The staff and food is superb. Rooms are spacious and super comfortable! Karma is a great host. Also do try the hot stone bath- we had a great time at this hotel. I would summarise it like this-"Impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning views - a truly unforgettable stay!"

Very hospital staff, delicious food, and very comfortable rooms. This was an excellent place to relax after exploring Bhutan, and I strongly recommend a stay here. It is also closer to tigers nest so a day trip out to the site is easily achieved.

The whole experience has been great. The room was tidy and clean. The local take on Butan cuisine was more then good. The staff are very friendly people both the waiter,the manager and all staff in between. The location offers a great middel point of you have a car to get around in west Bhutan

We were a party of eight, staying two nights, all of the staff/team were fantastic. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean and very spacious… The location is perfect for visits to the famous Tiger Nest. Our whole party was very happy with every aspect of this hotel… Comfort was excellent. Food was excellent. Location excellent. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and positive. Cleanlyness excellent.

Lovely hotel in many ways! The staff is very gracious and you feel like your comfort is their main concern. The rooms are large and clean. My bed was comfortable and nights were quiet. The staff makes a point of serving breakfast and dinner with tourist taste in mind. Tasty, but not too spicy. I believe being out of the main part of town helps with the tranquility of the hotel. Because all tourists travel with a car and driver, getting to a place of your choice is not difficult.

My friend and I spent 2 nights at this beautiful property tucked away in Satsam Chorten, Paro. On the outside, the hotel looks like a simple traditional building but the moment you step in, you are swept up in a wave of classy and tasteful luxury. The ambience is warm and rich - loved the attention to detail hidden in every corner of the lobby, foyer and restaurant. The hotel has an in-house restaurant & bar serving up delicious meals and drinks. There is a vibrant coffee shop attached to the building for some quick & yummy snacks, some great coffee music if you'd care for entertainment. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are prompt, mindful and attentive while doing everything they can to make your stay wonderful! We ran into the proprietor of the hotel a couple of times - a friendly and welcoming person with a great smile! We stayed on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (which is perhaps the only minor drawback in case walking up stairs is hard for you). The rooms are done up beautifully and well equipped with everything a guest might need. It's a treat waking up to the mountains and the crisp morning air and the sound of birds chirping each morning. The hotel is right on the road that leads to the base of the trek up to the Tiger Nest monastery. For those who love a stroll to explore the neighborhood, there are nearby resorts as well as a pristine stream flowing just a few feet away. Overall, I think this place is tremendous value for money and would be safe for solo travellers as well as groups or families. Thank you Silver Cloud for an amazing stay!

I was a first-time solo traveler to Bhutan. I decided to plan and arrange my own trip instead of joining a packaged tour. Silver Cloud was the last hotel stay of the trip. The owner, Karma Tsheten, called me on the phone soon after I made my reservation online to offer his personal assistance in all aspects of my travel arrangement in the country. He provided valuable travel tips, introductions, and great background on everything I wanted to know about Bhutan. He stayed in touch with me throughout my travel and personally welcomed me at the hotel on the day I checked in. The newly built hotel was one of the finest hotels I stayed in Bhutan. Besides the excellent accommodation and food in the hotel restaurant, my wide-ranging conversations with him and his wife enriched my cultural immersion experience in Bhutan. Highly recommended.

While we didn’t stay overnight, we had 2 delicious meals and a festive new years eve celebration at Silver Cloud. The staff and the people staying at the hotel were kind and caring. I think the food was the best we had in Bhutan and it’s well placed between Paro and the Tiger’s nest monastery. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We came here for lunch a couple times on the recommendation of our guide, and it was some of the best food we ate on our 10 day trip in Bhutan. We enjoyed both local cuisine and some amazing Thali. The staff are great, super friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful and we look forward to coming back next time.
