Myself and three of my friends, take a golf trip every year and have stayed here for the past ten years or so. Please note that everyone that works there is wonderful and very accommodating. The daily breakfast was very good. However, since the proprty has been purchased and new management has taken over, things have gone downhill. Upon arrival neither rooms could be opened. After a time and new room cards, we were able to get into our room. The other room could not be unlocked. Finally a maintenance worker was able to open the door with his master fob, but couldnot get the key cards to work. since no other rooms were available, they were given a master fob. I assume it was set to only work on that room, but it would not work on the outside doors. The next day when we returned and went to our rooms. The room with the lock trouble was wide open and lock was in pieces on the table. They had been working on it and had left it that way while they were somewhere else. Do not know how long it was open for. When we checked out, one room was supposed to be on my credit card, the other room was supposed to be on one of their cards. They left everything on my card. They had the information and card number for the other from check-in. Perhaps the staff is not all properly trained. The assistant manager assured us she could fix it. Each room should have been approximately $2200. By the time she was done, the other room had $4400 charged and mine had been charged nearly $11,000. At that time she said she could not change it because of the large amount involved. When we got home, we had to spend time calling the general manager and spend a couple of weeks calling my credit card company (just in case) and checking in online to make sure the excess charges were removed. It was finally straightened out, but it should never have happened. As a side note there used to be activities four nights per week for the guests, i.e., pizza night, grill night, movie night and so on. Not anymore. Overall disappointing.

Service level beyond Hampton standards and above the top tier Hilton brands.....Lindsay provided an overview of all of the amities, hotel layout, breakfast (breakfast was ok) and features of the hotel. We had a pizza from lunch and when we checked in, our room did not have a fridge. I asked Lindsay if she had a room with a fridge and she promptly moved me and helped move me and provided a cart and made it super easy. Very impressed with her service level

PPengguna TetamuWe had a nice stay while visiting the Tampa area. Our room was clean and comfortable with a layout similar to other Springhill Suites. The room’s lighting was ample in the seating area but a bit lacking near the beds. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable with ample seating. The waffle machine we normally expect at complimentary breakfasts was noticeably missing, but there were pre-made waffles available. Parking was ample and the hotel’s wifi worked well. The hotel is located in a quiet area that appears to be recently built as Google Maps seemed a little confused about the roads adjacent to the hotel. There are many retail and dining options within a 10-15 minute drive away and the hotel is close to the Suncoast Parkway that takes you into Tampa.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a queen room (#208). Very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. It seemed pretty new and was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself was nicely decorated and the breakfast was varied and nice -- standard stuff, but with southern amenities like gravy. One little quirk about our particular room was that the digital readings on the clock and the thermostat didn't work (see pictures). A minor thing though. The only real negative about this hotel I have to report is about the side parking lot. Every time we pulled into the side parking (where there is a key-operated entrance that we used to get to our room) we saw people loitering quite a bit and, especially at night, didn't feel as safe. And there was always random trash in this lot. Discarded masks, food cups, etc.

PPengguna TetamuAlthough the room we stayed in was very clean, and the beds comfortable, the hotel is showing its age. The tub had chips in the porcelain, and the shower curtain was hard to close to prevent the floor from flooding when showering. There are not enough plugs in the room for all our electronics, especially since the USB ports in the lamp between the beds were not working. Also, one of the elevators was out of service. The breakfast had a lot of choices, but the eggs and biscuits were out when we got there and it took a bit before it was replenished. Because of that we chose the cheese omelets, but they weren’t hot and were chewy. The sausage links could be improved due to an extremely tough casing which was difficult to cut through. The pancake maker was a nice addition. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars because the room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the employees friendly and helpful.

PPengguna TetamuExcellent stay!! Katelyn Perez went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & pleasant!! She was the person we looked forward to every day! We stayed from March 29th to April 6th. The rooms were lovely & clean and the cleaning staff are very thorough. I would definitely recommend it. Another lovely staff member, Annalise, who takes care of the continental breakfast area is invaluable addition. So sweet & helpful.

The desk clerk that checked me in, made the difference.
