Croad Vineyards - the Inn

We stayed in the downstairs room. There was a full hallway with doors on each side to buffer any noise from common areas. It felt both convenient and private. Martin is a wonderful host. He wrote us a personal welcome-note, and addressed any concerns with "don't worry, we'll take care of you". Indeed. Croad Vineyards is quiet, beautiful views, super friendly staff. We had a complementary cheese plate, complementary wine tasting. The complementary breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We held our wedding at the vineyard in October and stayed at the Inn. Service from booking the event through the day of and day after was superb! The event room and downstairs vineyard reception area was perfect for an intimate function, providing a picturesque setting that will be captures in out photos forever. Staying at the Inn provided easy access when I forgot my mother's pearls for the ceremony and a welcomed respite in the evening and morning afterward. Breakfast in the morning for the guests of the Inn was delicious, peaceful, and provided ample opportunity to meet new friends. We can't wait to have future anniversaries here with family and friends! Thanks Martin, Julia and Rosie....you're the best!

First time to Paso Robles and Croad Inn exceeded our expectations. This is an intimate place with incredible views and impeccable service…Martin and his staff want you to have a relaxing experience! Only 15 minutes to downtown and just minutes to numerous wineries. Can’t wait to return!

I just had the pleasure of a spectacular stay at the Inn at Croad Vineyards! The drive up to the hilltop inn is short and pretty. Martin and the whole staff provided exceptional customer service and made me feel right at home. Everyone is kind and helpful. They personally take you to your room and put out a nice little breakfast in the inn's kitchen/lounge every morning. Martin's native New Zealand accent only adds to the charm and coziness of this inn. All the wine is exquisite. I recommend the red blend called Taranaki! I even got a peak behind the scenes where said wine is made. The glass doors of my ground floor room open right onto the gorgeous and tranquil courtyard. Heaps of beautiful hummingbirds visit the fountain. The stunning view from the courtyard extends all the way to rolling hills of vineyards in the distance. I thoroughly enjoyed lounging with a glass of wine on the patio in the evening. The bed in the spacious room has the comfiest pillows. Plenty of windows let in the sunshine. The ceiling fan adds the perfect touch. The inn is just minutes from many other wineries to explore. It is also not far from the many wineries, breweries, and restaurants of Tin City. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!

Family gathering using 3 of 4 rooms in the inn. Wonderfully accommodating for our various food allergies and specifically adjusted breakfast to meet our needs. Rosie is a wonderful inn host always smiling and singing to herself while she prepares breakfast. Martin Croad is passionate about his craft and very willing to share his farming viniculture and wine making knowledge. Comfortable rooms, plenty of private seating areas around the property and even a series of looping nature trails thru the winery. Julia is just as friendly and passionate as your tasting room host. Highly recommended for a couple, small family gathering or special occasion

Perfect is the best way to describe our stay. Rooms were immaculate, grounds were scenic and the walking trails around the winery were a decent workout. So quiet that my wife took long naps both days we were there. I was then forced to do 4 hours of wine tasting and talking Julia's ear off. It was a great use of 4 hours. We will definitely be back.
