Iberostar Selection Jardín del Sol Suites - Adults Only

Had a fabulous 3 night stay for our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment you arrive you are very well looked after. The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with stunning views you could never tire of. The room was spotlessly clean and beautiful. Very modern with everything you would need. Food was incredible with something for all tastes and dietary requirements. The staff were so friendly, and although I would love to mention more, unfortunately I cannot recall all of their names. Adama was informative and friendly at check in, Pracilla who looked after our room, Denise and all of the other pool bar staff in prestige were amazing, a very special mention to Angela who was the happiest , smiliest most hardworking lady we have ever met! I’m sure there was more than one of her as she was everywhere and always said hello! Thank you for making our stay special- we would love to come back!! We stayed in the Penthouse Star Prestige Sea View Suite.

Only stayed for 4 nights but what a lovely time we had, me and my husband wanted a little getaway for our 40th and this hotel was perfect for us, absolutely loved our stay! The hotel sits on the cliff and the views across the bay are breath taking, The hotel is spotless, the rooms are very generous in size with a seaview from the balcony, every staff member greeted us with a smile, Pool was lovely and warm, plenty of sunbeds. Only ate breakfast at the hotel but was always happy with the variety, Maria makes a great omelette! I have no complaints and we can't wait to return. Totally recommend.

Visited apart hotel first holiday abroad mum popsy 30 years ago sadly lost them wanting to revise precious memories we shared with them hotel was updated beautiful tranquil we found ( staff zuzane Isabella chef moustah lad who filled your wine pops drinks were absolutely amazing & rest staff to worked so hard to serve you smiling faces to make your holiday so special all absolutely brilliant.-Mostah on other hand was off putting asked 1 night 6 times reviews tips we moved table we couldn't stand it any longer we have travelled all round world neve been so pressured into being asked tips very off putting indeed which we didn't like at all water matches were brilliant saving on plastic bottles could do flat place making to get in water maybe by steps for boards people with fins all in all a fabulous holiday with great view we went star prestige well worth extra to use everything apert from Japanese restaurant that sadly cost extra not sure if spa have to pay for ww didn't use.

The entrance is quite unassuming until you walk into reception with stunning views of the sea. From the minute you walk into the hotel, the staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for you. Our room was fabulous with a large bed and well proportioned. As with all Iberostar hotels, sustainability is important with a carafe for you to fill with filtered chilled water to save on plastics. The pool area was immaculate and it felt quite strange to get waiter service on your sunlounger! The food for all 3 meals is excellent. Very fresh and a lot of choice with themed meals every evening. We wanted to sit outside to eat as we don’t always get the chance at home and in one occasion, there was a short wait. The manager disappeared behind a door and came back with 2 chilled glasses of cava for us whilst we waited. A small touch but very well appreciated. Overall, I couldn’t rate the hotel high enough.

We booked Jardin Del Sol for a relaxing week away. It did not disappoint. I can't fault the hotel or think of even one thing to have a moan about. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you need from toiletries to hairdryer to mini bar and safe. The view from the balcony is over the bay and sends you into a state of relaxation from the minute you enter your room. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is 5 star and totally yummy with a wide variety for all tastes.

This was the 5th visit to this hotel and certainly won’t be the last (already booked for next year!). Every single member of staff works so hard and cannot do enough for you. We were welcomed back with hugs from lots of members of staff who remember us and welcome us like members of the family. The hotel is always clean whenever we visit. The food is great - always lots of choice and although some nights there was a lot is seafood (which I can’t eat) there were always other choices. The hotel is placed perfectly on the edge of the sea in Costa de la Calma, a short walk away from the main town of Santa Ponsa. The pool areas are always spotlessly clean. We chose to pay the extra for Star Prestige which gives you access to two extra pools and bars. There were always plenty of sunbeds and the pools are amazing. The bar also serves snacks twice a day. The only thing that I think the hotel management need to look into is the Star Prestige area is easily accessed and during our week stay we saw a couple walk up from the other area with no Star Prestige wristbands and clearly carrying towels from the main area for three days running and they weren’t challenged about it by any members of staff. When you have to pay quite a bit extra for this benefit, it’s annoying that people are able to use the area when they clearly haven’t paid extra. There is entertainment every evening in the main bar, which was always good and on oneevening a large inflatable screen was put over the swimming pool for a cinema evening. Guest were given headphones to listen to Mama Mia in their own language. We were at the hotel celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and had champagne and chocolates left in our room, which was such a lovely touch. We also had gifts left in our room on another evening, which was a lovely surprise. We cannot wait to return and would thoroughly recommend the hotel - we guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

We have just returned from our honeymoon at this spectacular hotel. 5 days of bliss. From the moment you walk into reception all you can smell is the most beautiful essential oils, I wish I could have bottled it up and taken it home. Upon check-in a pleasant young boy offered my husband and I champagne, water, juice. And some fruit while the lovely man at reception checked us in. We had a room on the 1st floor. Reception is on 8th floor and restaurant is on 4th floor. Our room overlooked the pool and just above the bar so a little noisy from 9.30pm- 11pm but didn't bother us at all. Every room has a lovely view of the rocky bay! Which you can even go down and jump into. No kids at the hotel, everything was just so quiet everyone was enjoying the lapping of the waves. Pure bliss. Juanlo and the boys down by the pool and bar could not do enough for you. They knew I was pregnant and where very accomodating. They brought round lots of free snacks while you were at the pool all day from coronas to smoothie shots to churros with chocolate and chocolate truffles. This really added a special touch. They had lots of things on in the hotel, yoga and wine yoga, cocktail making class and a day out in see through kayaks. Breakfast every day was plentiful, everything you could ask for. We stayed just bed and breakfast as we wanted to explore the town of Santa ponsa for food in the evenings. We did eat in the restaurant one night on mexican night, they have a different theme every night. Santa ponsa shops and restaurants are 15-20 mins away. We came back to our room after a day at the pool and the hotel staff had left us a bottle of wine and treats to celebrate our honeymoon and also a little teddy and congratulations on our baby news. These little extras are really what made this hotel so special, there's nothing they wouldn't do to make your stay more comfortable. Heat every day was between 25-30 degrees, but the room has amazing air conditioning. Honestly was so sad to leave. Thank you Iberostar for the best and relaxing honeymoon. We will definitely be back in couple years when we can get some time to ourselves again!

Our first visit to Majorca and our first stay at an Iberostar hotel. Could not fault the hotel in any way. We chose to stay in a superior suite which had sun beds and a jacuzzi on the terrace. The glass balcony screens enables an uninterrupted view of the beautiful harbour. Room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The food was superb at breakfast and dinner buffet. We were half board so ordered lunch at the bar. There was a good choice and service was quick. There are many restaurants nearby that you could also choose to eat. The hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main town and beach. Paddle boards and kayaks are available to use at the hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel overlooking the sea. We were 3 friends travelling together and the room we booked was really spacious. The third bed was a proper bed too as opposed to a sofa bed. We did B&B and upgraded to Star Prestige ⭐️ I would definitely recommend and would upgrade again if we went back. The pool area was fab, comfy sunbeds and some cabana style. The drinks and snacks between 11-12 and 4-6 were enough so you didn’t need lunch, especially after the delicious buffet breakfast. It is certainly somewhere you can just switch off and enjoy some R&R!
