GiliZen Resort - Private Pool Villas

Private villa more than disappointing, small minimalist room. The first room was in such poor condition that we changed rooms but the 2nd not much better. The bathroom lacks cleanliness and especially maintenance, taps, shower head, sink drain, everything is rusty, some towels full of stains as well as the 2 bathrobes supposedly clean! Stains on the sofa, chair seats and pillows. The bottom of the pool not cleaned in 3 days! The air conditioning does not work when we arrive, forced to call a technician who came in the evening to repair. Out of 3 days on site 2 days of power cut of several hours because there was work going on next door. We wait with 32 degrees in the room. On the other hand, the hotel is right in the middle of the island, far from everything, and the paths to get there are in a state! Gili Air Island is not really recommended, full of rubbish everywhere, abandoned hotels and others under construction, really nothing pretty there. Just the turtles to see otherwise nothing. Gili Trawangan is much better. My friends were there and frankly nothing to see. On the positive side, unlimited water, good breakfast and small but pleasant swimming pool.

Nous avons passé un beau sejour dans cet hôtel sur l’île de Gili Air. L’accueil a été chaleureux, on nous a présenté le plan de l’île et nous avons eu de nombreux conseils. Il est bien situé plage à proximité et de nombreux restaurants. Nous avons eu une excursion de snorkeling comprise dans le séjour, ce qui a été formidable car nous avons croisé de belles tortues (Vous avez la possibilité d’upgrade la sortie pour privatiser le bateau). Seul point négatif, des déchets sont brûlés derrière l’hôtel et parfois la fumé revenait vers notre villa.
