I booked two rooms for my 82yo parents and their caregiver. I took the opportunity to pay a visit to my parents on the second day of their stay with my own children. All the services of the hotel (except the cleaning) are carried out by the owner, his wife, his son and his two daughters. The owner took advantage of my mother health issues and disability (as a matter of fact it is not easy to find a hotel that offers a flat access to the room, to the facilities and to the beach) in order to blackmail my parents and to increase the room rate by 150% after the fifth day of their stay as a non negotiable condition for them to stay. My parents who couldn't afford wasting their few days of holidays packing, moving and looking for another hotel, had no other choice but to accept this ultimatum. On top of that, the owner wanted to be paid in cash under the table (!) which my parents of course refused. The owner changed the room of the caregiver twice within a week and placed her away from my parents, without even consulting them. After 7 days of this disrespectful behaviour and mistrea**ent, he finally left my parents with the option to change room as well or to leave the hotel as he had customers on the waiting list offering a better price for the rooms!!! My parents left after 7 days instead of the 3 weeks initially discussed when I booked the rooms. They were exhausted and disoriented. I can only recommend you to stay away from these mistreating owners and their "poor" level overpriced hotel (the same is true for their low end restaurant).
