A very nice experience for a stopover on the way north from Spain. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the Autoroute exit, for a stopover on the way north or south. Reception was very friendly indeed, and the room nice and clean, with a good bathroom and a separate WC. There is a nice garden with a small poll, which is close to the restaurant and more like a plunge pool, than a swimming pool for families. The restaurant is very good, run by a friendly team and we had a very nice dinner. It was very hot that night, so open glass panels fronting the pool could have been closed and AirCo switched on, but that is a detail. Breakfast was very o.k. as well. We will visit again when coming along that route again.

Over 20 years Campanile has been our favourite budget hotel chain. Good locations for overnight stops. Basic but satisfactory facilities. However the main reason was it had the best food of any budget chain: starter was always a big buffet spread of hors d'oeuvre, a good value fixed price menu, a chef's special chosen and executed by the resident cook, and a short a la carte that always included a decent steak frîtes. Alas only the fixed price remains. Decent but very limited. The hors d'oeuvre table is still there but sadly empty. The food is now dictated by accountants!

The hotel is in a great only about 3 minute walk from the station which made it ideal for us as we travelled to different resorts each day. The couple that own the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. They provided us with a map with main attractions and also recommendations for places to eat. Rooms were as described, I am glad we went for the option with the balcony it give that extra sense of space. All in all a great stay. We visited Colliure, Carcassonne and Argles Sur Mer in our 4 day break. There is so many places you can explore from Perpignan by rail and it was uncomplicated.

I achieved my dream to stay in beautiful Perpignan by visiting this hotel! The staff were very French and very friendly. The room was great too with a balcony outside. However the distance you had to travel to get into town was about three miles. It did have an outside swimming pool. Because it was an enjoyable stay in this loveable town surrounded by the Pyrenees mountains I didn't complain about the wardrobe door that didn't shut and electrical sockets that came out the wall! This is not a touristy area but full of genuine and humble French people. Everything is cheap including restaurants etc... Loved it!

Accessible avec un parking en plein centre ville face à une grande place et ses beaux platanes Le personnel du bar est top et se met en 4 pour nous servir un petit repas simple et convivial; le personnel du petit dej est tout aussi sympathique et pro Bravo à la Team Mercure Perpignan 👏

This is a very nice hotel, slightly out of the town centre (which is probably a good thing). We had a Privilege room which was very good, with views across a park and towards the town centre. The staff were all excellent, charming and helpful. They have a restaurant which doubles as a breakfast room in the morning. The menu is small but adequate which starts at 19:30 but you can get the Tapas menu from 18:30 onwards. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which can take you to the train station and Canet plage. There is also a roof terrace and a 1st floor terrace. Unfortunately wi-fi was not available in the hotel rooms during our stay although you could log into it in the reception area. Apparently there was a breakdown with their normal system which they were trying to fix. If you are going to Perpignan I would definitely recommend this hotel.

2 chambres réservées. Les 2 sentaient mauvais (odeur de tabac). Les 3 lits de l chambre triple étaient, notamment en dessous de la couette ou on po Il y avait de la poussière. Par ailleurs la couverture supplémentaire mise ä disposition ne pouvait mème pas ètre utilisée car était sale aussi. Sans parler de sa forte odeur de renfermé. Pour prendre une douche, nous avons dans les 2 chambres dû attendre plus d'un quart d'heure pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Cerise sur le gâteau, à notre arrivée la réception nous a donné la clé d'une chambre déjà occupée, sans parler du fait qu'il ne voulaient pas attendre que je paie le lendemain (vu l'heure tardive qu'il était) avant de nous donner les clés, ils avaient portant une empreinte de ma carte bancaire au pire. Donc, résultat avec la mauvaise clé, nous avons fait très peur au couple qui y dormait, qui se sont réveillés en sursaut (il était près d'1h du mat). Cela arrive de faire des erreurs, mais là ça faisait un peu trop pour notre expérience dans cet hôtel. Je suis déçu car j'avais déjà dormi dans des hôtels balladins ou ça s'était bien passé. Là clairement c'était autre chos. l'hôtel ne vaut pas du tout les 3 étoiles à mon sens...même si il est vrai nous n'avons pas vu ce que le petit déj donnait....bref, je recommande pas trop.

Il Kyriad hotel, a differenza degli altri alberghi vicini (Brit, B&B, Premiere), è più curato ed il parcheggio non è proprio davanti alle camere (come gli altri, tutti simili fra loro). Dunque più silenzioso. Inoltre il parcheggio è chiuso di notte, quindi un po' più sicuro.
Io mi sono trovato molto bene . Inoltre, il receptionist parlava anche l'italiano (!!!!). Incredibile ! 😊😊
Io non ho mangiato, dato che dovevo fare un.viaggio molto lungo...

I found this hotel to be ok, with some strengths and some weaknesses. I don't believe the hotel has many suites so a suite upgrade as IHG Diamond might be unlikely - for our stay I noticed none were available on the day of arrival online, so I did not expect it. The state of the room was ok with no major complaints; it was clean and functional. Also some parts of the room were probably renovated recently such as the bathroom so it was a plus. Service was quite good and staff very friendly, noticeably more so than in similar hotels elsewhere therefore it was also a strength. What could be improved would be breakfast. The breakfast room was very full when we arrived so we had to take our breakfast in another room nearby which is used more for people with a laptop to do some work. The fruit salad seemed to be from an outside vendor with plastic wrap rather than the hotel cutting some fresh fruits themselves. Almost all hotels normally offer cut fresh fruits. Also the only vegetable available was uncut tomatoes. Thankfully breakfast was free as IHG Diamond otherwise I would not pay for it.

PPengguna TetamuSpeedy and efficient check in, our request for a room located on a high floor was granted. Spacious, bright, large, well-appointed quiet and comfortable. Tea/coffee, sink, microwave, much more than we had expected. Plenty of tastefully designed storage space. Huge shower cubicle with powerful shower with an additional shower over the bath. Super comfy bed and linen, large TV mounted on a unit which could be positioned according to viewing preference. Air con worked well. The whole room was spotless and faultless. Standard buffet breakfast, no thrills although adequate for our needs. No designated bar area as such. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the city centre, approx. 5-minute easy walk. Lots of restaurants/bars on the doorstep, the area felt safe.

Medewerksters ontbijt en schoonmaak altijd vriendelijk.
Belangrijke min is het compleet ongeïnteresseerde personeel aan de receptie! Geen welkom, geen vriendelijkheid, geen hulpvaardigheid, kijken niet op of wanneer we langs liepen, zitten alleen met elkaar te kletsen of in hun beeldscherm te kijken. Zelfs bij vertrek geen 'bedankt voor uw boeking bij ons en nog een goede reis'... Niks van dat alles.
Tis niet het belangrijkste maar wel heel slecht.

Disappointed to be charged for early checkin when we arrived as room was clearly already free. Paid fee only to find no towels and no idea how to unfold the sofa bed. Had to go down twice to ask unfriendly Reception staff. The room was a good size, clean and was quiet despite being opposite the station. I didnt like a 50 euro hold going on my card - not sure what that was for as no mono bar! Staff didn’t explain as English not good. Very handy for station and bus terminal and area was safe and nice and had supermarkets if you want to cook basic meal in the room. It was a long walk to the old town which we found a bit under whelming.

Nous avons séjourner pour la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel et ce n’est pas la dernière vous pouvez me croire. Comme chaque année, lorsque nous prenons nos quartiers d'hivers en Espagne, nous faisons étape dans cet hôtel. Cette fois la climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement. L'accueil toujours très agréable, la chambre suffisamment spacieuse et propre avec une literie confortable, que demander de plus. Excellents petits déjeuners avec oranges pressées. Prix très modérés. Nous avons payé un supplément de 3 euros par nuit pour notre petit chien. Le parking est grand et sécurisé. Pour une étape de 1 ou 2 nuits cela reste très correct.

Receptionist was not helpful would not help us to book a taxi. As there is no bus that goes to the airport. You had to call for a taxi. Which cost me about 45 euro. Luckily another customer overheard our conversation booked us a taxi to go to the airport for the following early morning. This hotel is also a nightmare to get to. Make sure you do your home work before hand. They call themselves airport hotel. It took Over twenty mins to get to the air port by taxi. Fair enough if you have your own transportion. If you are a foot passenger like myself. Do not book this place.

The 2 stars given are for the location, however this is about all I can think of positive. No kettle, tea/coffee in the rooms and an awful smell of drains throughout the hotel especially noticeable when you vacate the lifts to enter your floor! Furniture in dining area is very dated , coffee machine at breakfast service was old and gave chocolate instead of cappuccino, informed staff but did nothing.. We stayed with another couple and would have liked to have enjoyed a drink in the lounge together but it was non existent as the furniture was not comfortable and the bar was never opened. Though due to the smell of drains we didn’t wish to spend too much time in there. There was a basket of croissants on the reception desk to help yourself, unwrapped! I suspect the leftovers from breakfast, however the hygiene aspect of this leaves a lot to be desired! To summarise this hotel is not a 4 star, very dated and needs much attention to bring it up to standard. We would not stay here again.
