I booked a room at this hotel, because it was the only one still having free rooms (last two free rooms) when I decided to go to Pescara. I was very lucky, as the hotel was prefect for me. One of the main assets of this hotel is the location - 3 minutes from the train/bus station (where buses from the airport come), 5 minutes from the beach. It is situated in a square in the middle of the main shopping area of Pescara, so there are many shops and restaurants around. The location is therefore ideal both for those who want to use Pescara as the base do discover the region and for those who want to spend their time at the beach/shops. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, they have a minibar and a safe. The wall are a bit thin, so noisy neighbours can be a problem. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast is served on the first floor. Due to Covid, it is really served but that is normal in these times. The choice was good and the room again looked very cosy. The staff at the reception (I met two men and one woman) were all kind and helpful. In general, I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to choose this hotel when I come to Pescara again.

This is my second time staying in this Hotel. The Train , Bus Station and Lungomare are just a few minutes away on foot. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Staff very friendly. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

The views! Clean, friendly staff, on site parking for a fee, free breakfast, plenty of towels, dining on site or within walking distance. Did I mention the views of the beach … … I will stay here again.

Definitely NOT a Palace. Definitely not 3 and a half stars Let’s stay by saying this hotel Ambra Palace is definitely not a palace. I should have listened to the other reviewers. It’s a dump completely with rude staff at reception. Whilst Agoda (don’t get me started on them) and the hotel website boast about having airconditioning this is not the case. Well the rude gentleman first said there is no aircon but when he is shown it in writing on the website and on Agoda the story changes to ‘seasonally available’. Well not at certain times of the year anyway. 29 degrees during our stay but aircon already turned off for the year. The rude gentleman who lost the ability to speak English advised through his female colleagues that their website can’t be changed to define when aircon isn’t available. Nor apparently can it be changed on Agoda according to him. So bottom line no aircon year round, yet they advise there is. Unacceptable. Now the shower? Shall we talk about the fact the shower head won’t stay in place making it a hand held shower. Unacceptable. So back down to my friend on the counter and in fairness he does arrange a room change. But changing rooms is never fun. Shower should have been in working order. New room has twin beds. We need a double but who could be bothered complaining again. Small rooms with very dated furniture and dated bathrooms. Very thin walls and we heard fellow guests in next room all night. The solution on the second night was to leave the window open and listen to all the street noise. Breakfast was okay. Location was okay. Don’t go to this hotel. Listen to the reviews We will never be back to this ‘Palace’

B&b posto nelle vicinanze della centralissima via Umberto. Difficile trovare parcheggi liberi in zona ma a pochi passi c’è il parcheggio a pagamento della stazione. E qui finiscono le note positive. Dispiace sempre fare recensioni negative ma mi auguro che questo possa essere da stimolo per i gestori. Stanze recuperate in palazzo all’interno di una corte, molto tranquilla la zona. Dentro però sembra un bazar, ingresso mal sistemato con arredi messi alla rinfusa. Camera piccola, arredi datati e differenti l’uno dall’altro. Bagno di recente ristrutturazione ma piccolo. Phon in dotazione mal ridotto. Acqua calda la mattina assente con impossibilità di farsi una doccia. La sera invece un filo dopo aver lasciato scorrere l’acqua una mezzoretta è arrivata. Colazione in linea con il resto, prodotti non di marca anche se con una buona varietà di prodotti (solo dolce, no salato). Molto disponibili i gestori.
