Hotel 3 Bintang di Pescara

This is my second time staying in this Hotel. The Train , Bus Station and Lungomare are just a few minutes away on foot. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Staff very friendly. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

Definitely NOT a Palace. Definitely not 3 and a half stars Let’s stay by saying this hotel Ambra Palace is definitely not a palace. I should have listened to the other reviewers. It’s a dump completely with rude staff at reception. Whilst Agoda (don’t get me started on them) and the hotel website boast about having airconditioning this is not the case. Well the rude gentleman first said there is no aircon but when he is shown it in writing on the website and on Agoda the story changes to ‘seasonally available’. Well not at certain times of the year anyway. 29 degrees during our stay but aircon already turned off for the year. The rude gentleman who lost the ability to speak English advised through his female colleagues that their website can’t be changed to define when aircon isn’t available. Nor apparently can it be changed on Agoda according to him. So bottom line no aircon year round, yet they advise there is. Unacceptable. Now the shower? Shall we talk about the fact the shower head won’t stay in place making it a hand held shower. Unacceptable. So back down to my friend on the counter and in fairness he does arrange a room change. But changing rooms is never fun. Shower should have been in working order. New room has twin beds. We need a double but who could be bothered complaining again. Small rooms with very dated furniture and dated bathrooms. Very thin walls and we heard fellow guests in next room all night. The solution on the second night was to leave the window open and listen to all the street noise. Breakfast was okay. Location was okay. Don’t go to this hotel. Listen to the reviews We will never be back to this ‘Palace’

B&b posto nelle vicinanze della centralissima via Umberto. Difficile trovare parcheggi liberi in zona ma a pochi passi c’è il parcheggio a pagamento della stazione. E qui finiscono le note positive. Dispiace sempre fare recensioni negative ma mi auguro che questo possa essere da stimolo per i gestori. Stanze recuperate in palazzo all’interno di una corte, molto tranquilla la zona. Dentro però sembra un bazar, ingresso mal sistemato con arredi messi alla rinfusa. Camera piccola, arredi datati e differenti l’uno dall’altro. Bagno di recente ristrutturazione ma piccolo. Phon in dotazione mal ridotto. Acqua calda la mattina assente con impossibilità di farsi una doccia. La sera invece un filo dopo aver lasciato scorrere l’acqua una mezzoretta è arrivata. Colazione in linea con il resto, prodotti non di marca anche se con una buona varietà di prodotti (solo dolce, no salato). Molto disponibili i gestori.

Siamo stati in questo b&b per una notte ma solo dopo aver prenotato la proprietaria mi ha detto che la mia stanza avrebbe avuto un bagno privato ma esterno alla stanza quindi bisognava uscire dalla stanza su un pianerottolo in cui c è anche un ‘ulteriore stanza costretti così ad uscire vestiti o comunque non in libertà… non abbiamo usufruito della colazione perché abbiamo scelto la formula del solo pernotto , carina L idea del check in automatico che sembra una caccia al tesoro , il parcheggio è gratuito all interno ma davvero stretto e faticoso per fare manovre con macchine grandi… scale per raggiungere i piani molto strette e con le valige diventa un po’ faticoso anche perché non sono sicura di aver visto un ascensore… consiglierei di migliorare la pulizia degli ambienti perché nella stanza ho trovato tanta polvere sui comodini, testiera del letto e a terra e per chi è anche allergico dormire in quelle condizioni non è L ‘ideale … le finestre non permettono di isolare i suoni esterni quindi si può sentire di tutto durante la notte … proprietaria sentita solo tramite mail e whatsapp ma molto cordiale.. il b&b si trova in una zona comoda perché vicina al mare e al centro ( credo a max 3 km)
