I saw the room odour review, I believe is from aircon, need to ventilate for some time as I have room spray too so didnt affect much

EeasondingI always choose to stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya whenever I visit Kuala Lumpur. The experience is consistently good, from check-in to check-out. The check-in process is convenient and straightforward, which makes arriving stress-free.
The breakfast buffet is always solid, with a good variety and consistent quality. Service throughout the hotel is excellent—staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. The amenities are also a big plus, especially the well-equipped gym, swimming pool, and the restaurants located within the hotel.
Overall cleanliness is good and the room is tidy, though the shower heads could be cleaned more thoroughly. That said, the rain shower in our room had very strong water pressure, which was great.
Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable hotel with great service and facilities, and I would continue to stay here on future visits to KL.

GGuest UserUsed to stay here during co. workshop/ conference at least 10vears ago. Glad that the room still wel maintained & the carpets no odour smell. As not easy to travel with a 2yr old baby who so wiggly and the cleanliness will be the most concerned when staying in the hotel. Booked total 3 rooms (other friends with family), only 2 rooms accommodated with connecting room. Breakfast (at Sunway Resort Hotel) always the top notch must be included with reservation.
One sad thing was left my baby's pillows (3pcs) in the room, unaware as covered up in the comforter. Though unable to go back to collect it, but perhaps the hotel staff should inform us.

Ppeterrabit78The hotel room is big but the amenities is rather old. Shower water flow isn't consistent causing water sometimes getting too hot or too cold. The bed isn't comfortable. Soundproofing is bad as you can hear the noise from the corridor when people passingby. It gets really irritating when you can hear clearly your neighbours talking, open and shutting doors at the middle of the night

TTomHeeThe bad: on the 2nd day of our 3 day stay, i went to eat breakfast at 8:20am. There was not much food left. I thought they will replenish. They didn't. The staff told me some 200 over had their breakfast and they finished the food. But I've paid for my breakfast during the booking.

The good: the staff at the restaurant. She's very friendly and attentive. The chef at the egg station. He was kind and friendly to me. I've uploaded their pictures.
This hotel is very near to the MRT station. Don't follow Google to guide you to the hotel. When u step out of the mrt, the hotel is right in front of your. U don't need to make a big turn like the Google directed. Google is wrong!!
The breakfast for the 3 days are repetitive. So not worth.
The fried rice is surprisingly good.

GGuest UserI stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. I came all the way from Johor hoping to rest before my training the next day, but unfortunately I had to spend extra time and energy cleaning the sticky floor myself. The wardrobe was dusty, the bed still had sand, and the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned. The bidet was installed very low, which was uncomfortable to use.
Internet and mobile network were very poor before connecting to the room WiFi. I even had to go down to Level G to make a call. After connecting to the room WiFi, the internet worked fine.
The check-in instructions were confusing. The password in the attachment was inaccurate, and the format differed between check-in and check-out (check-in: *1234* vs check-out without *️⃣ : 1234). Guests shouldn’t have to go on a “treasure hunt” to figure out the check-in process. It would be much easier if instructions were left at reception or a PIC handed over the key.
The RM200 deposit feels too high considering the limited facilities, there is no swimming pool and no gym. Parking is narrow, and I struggled to enter with my MPV. It would be helpful if a warning or guidance for MPV drivers is provided before entering LG1 parking to avoid difficulty. Clearer guidance or a staff/PIC to assist guests when parking larger vehicles would also be useful.
For safety and convenience, it would be great if the door could be upgraded with a doorbell and touchscreen password lock, as sometimes housekeeping has to knock and it’s hard to hear from inside.
The lift also malfunctioned once, and although the deposit refund was promised for 4–6 PM, I only received it after 11 PM.
Overall, while the location is convenient, the stay was disappointing and stressful. Improvements are urgently needed in cleanliness, check-in process, parking guidance (especially for larger vehicles), facilities, safety, and door access, especially given the high deposit required.

The hotel room is clean and in good condition, though the TV wasn’t functioning during my stay. The only major downside is the lift service — it’s confusing and makes it quite easy to get lost. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

2. Found same moset in the room is soft to step on and toilet cleanliness is average.
