The first impression of the hotel is absolutely stunning. Built in an old bank the common areas and lobby are dripping in marble. Services were friendly and prompt, and the hotel was in exceptional condition. Our room on the 25th floor was clean and modern. Our only critique of the guestroom was that there were very few outlets for charging. The restaurant in the lobby featured super Latin cuisine, friendly service, and several flatscreen TV’s so we could watch the Celtics beat the 76ers :). I’ll be back.

Suite life at Rittenhouse hotel! A wonderful relaxing getaway night at a hotel that exceeds expectations on all fronts. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the kids had a blast at the pool (pool toys behind a door near the entrance of the pool), delicious breakfast and dinner (kids raved about the butter beer from the Library Bar - better than Universal Studio’s version!), within walking distance to shopping and sites, and Patricia at the front desk was super helpful. Worth it to visit Philly again just for a stay at the Rittenhouse hotel!

The location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!! I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns. My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).

I stayed here with my husband and teenage daughter. I like Residence Inns because they typically have extra space for our family, and the kitchen is a nice perk. This hotel was not impressive. It is very old and shows its age. The hallway smelled musty. The room was very small. We had a one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom was located in the bedroom, which we prefer over having it in the living room. The windows are small. Everything worked fine and the room was clean, but it needs updating. The bed was queen size and not the most comfortable. Our room was on the back side overlooking the parking lot, so we experienced some street noise on the weekend. I'm sure the front of the hotel has more street noise because people ride loud motorcycles down that road at night. I guess for the money, it was fine, but nothing special. The hotel breakfast is crowded and located in a room with very low ceilings. It made me feel claustrophobic. There is dark lobby space next to the breakfast room that people eat in. The food is standard free breakfast with hot options. The staff is very pleasant from the valets to the front desk to the housekeeping staff. They were very accommodating when we needed to leave a day early. The valet helped us find a parking lot for our oversized vehicle. There is a parking lot directly behind the hotel that is very convenient if you don't want to use the valet. The location is decent, walkable to good restaurants and sights. It is across the street from City Hall and a nice park with fountains for kids to play in. We walked to the Liberty Bell and Rittenhouse Square. My favorite spot was Reading Terminal Market for amazing food-only a few minutes walk away. The city tour buses are also located there.

We booked the Notary for a Presidents Day weekend trip to Philly. We primarily booked it for its perfect location in Center City, easily walkable to the Independence Hall area, though walking to the museum areas might be a stretch for some. The hotel is across the street from City Hall, and you can walk around and view some of the outdoor artwork that Philly is known for. The lobby is gorgeous. Check-in on the Bonvoy app was easy, and we used our phones as keys for the room. They are in the process of modernizing their elevators, so it would take some time to get down to the ground floor from our room, between waiting and then stopping on almost every floor on the way down. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The window looking out to the city was a little small, but totally understandable considering the building is on the register of historic places. The restaurant could use some work, primarily with staffing. We called down to ask how long a wait for a table would be, and were told no wait. However, when we got to the restaurant, we were told they were only taking diners with reservations, no walkups. Luckily, when we told them of the phone call, they did seat us after a 20-30 minute wait. Our waitress made it very clear that they were understaffed and she was overworked. The food was okay, drinks were better. Breakfast seemed to be staffed more appropriately, and again the food was okay. You're probably better off looking at the many restaurants around Center City (or uber to Dante's & Luigi's like we did on our second night). Valet also seemed understaffed, though they were up front about the expected wait once we called down for our car (20-30 mins). Overall, very nice hotel, could use some help with staffing restaurant. Would stay here again.

The room was nice. However on the 11/20/21 night time. There was a big noise maybe from the central furnace or the central boiler when i went to the room around 10.30 night. The noise did not stop until i check out the room. I inform the receptionist but they said they can not do anything because its book from outside website. I couldnt sleep all night. I had a 7 hours trip home. I was driving daisy all day. Bad experience in a very good hotel location

酒店不是富麗堂皇的新酒店，但挺乾淨。位置在市中心，緊鄰唐人街，吃飯非常方便。去獨立宮等景點也比較近，停車費（一天40刀）在市中心算便宜的。攜程與酒店溝通，幫我預留的房間也達到預期。

This location was very busy because of the local games but the hotel was very lively Although there was only one person working the front desk she was friendly and effective. She also somehow sent a text message once we checked in to see how we were enjoying our room. They also provide a free breakfast buffet in the morning.

Check-in was easy. I wish parking was included but it was reasonably priced anyways and the valet service was nice. Absolutely worth it for the room, huge closet, kitchen area, spacious suite. Staff were all pleasant. Very pleased! One note, silverware in the kitchen would be nice but it’s fine. Limited climate control in the room too due to moody weather / old heating cooling system. We opened a window and it cooled off quick though. Very happy overall
