For just over 1,000, you get a 200-square-meter private villa with a massive private pool – you probably won't find another deal like this in Phu Quoc. Our first lunch, we took a taxi out, but later that night we tried the hotel's main restaurant. To our surprise, it was actually quite good value for money (initially, I had the prejudice that all hotel restaurants are overpriced and bad). The food was better than what we found in town, and the prices weren't outrageous. We ordered pizza, spring rolls, juice, etc., and it was only around 80 RMB per person for a filling meal. The spring rolls were the best we'd had in all the restaurants we tried in Vietnam, and there was even a free fire dance show! The breakfast was also delicious. I easily devoured two bowls of pho, and the watermelon juice was freshly squeezed and chilled, definitely not watered down. The hotel has its own app where you can message the front desk, and it even offers automatic translation. This is fantastic, especially for introverts like me who prefer not to make calls in English. Overall, I'm very satisfied. It was a much better experience than the private pool villa we rented on Airbnb – the professional service you get at a hotel really makes a difference.
