Ulasan Mida Grande Resort Phuket

I booked a sea view family suite, but when I checked in, I didn’t see sea view，only saw all are rooftops on other buildings,

The breakfast is very good. I want to try everything but my stomach doesn't support it. Even though the resort is not near the sea, believe me, most people don't swim in the sea. Most people swim in the pool.

I came to Phuket this time for 5 nights and I would like to stay in different areas. So, i chosen here with Campaign of Trip.com, it's a very good rate. It's a beautiful hotel with great atmosphere, if you want have a truly relax in a quiet environment, i recommend here. The hotel provides a Shuttle to Surin Beach and Bangtao Beach. The breakfast is a variety of fresh and clean options with good taste. The service staff are friendly and helpful. I will stay here again next time.

Very enjoy spending time in the hotel. Especially, the view from the room.

Our 2-night stay at Mida Grande was average. We had booked a room with a Jacuzzi but it had some green algae at the bottom so we didn’t use it. The bed cover was not clean and had some stains so we asked housekeeping to come around to change it. Since it rained a lot on the first day, we ordered room service and the food was just so-so and it took a while for green curry and pineapple fried rice to come but the person was nice. The room felt like a serviced apartment, the bed was comfortable and it was a quiet room. The hotel doesn’t seem to have many guests and those we saw were mostly Russian families. Breakfast was okay with enough selection including an egg station. There is a Starbucks at the lobby. Location is not ideal but fine if you have a rental scooter. Also, the layout of the hotel was strange and you need to walk along paths and lots of stairs to get to other buildings for the gym, restaurant, etc.

Reception was bad , they told us no room booking is there , we struggle for more than 2 hours calling our reservation to talk to them , really bad service and not organized staff in the reception area including the supervisor , location is far away from the city and no proper beach view as what we booked , very far from the beach

We stayed at the resort area. It was one of the most luxurious experience we had. Spacious, new with good interior decor. Love that they picked up guests from resort with golf car to commute around the hotel area. Bonus part was we could rent a car directly at the hotel. Saved us so much work from renting from outside.

The resort was overall pretty good condition. Multiple gyms and pools and rooftop pools as well which was nice and chill. Breakfast was good but got quite busy towards 9:30 to 10:30 so go early. One thing I’d like to note is their beach/pool towel situation. We asked for beach towels multiple times but fail to receive promptly in our rooms and had to chase at concierge. Even then, it was a struggle and waste of time to wait. According to the manager they just have issues getting enough inventory and turn around on the towels daily and they have not just the hotel rooms to service but the villas, long stays etc. I hear them on the issue but it shouldn’t be a guests job to understand and just be okay especially beach towels can be considered the most important thing to a pool and beach retreat. Definitely need to figure this out and overall experience will be much pleasant and enjoyable.

Residential feel hotel . Good view. At high ground . Huge bathroom. Easy parking

I was shock to see the maid using the wet face towel in the bath room to wipe the toilet bowl! Not sure it is their routine practice. Complained to the manager. The restaurant staff were not well trained at all. No smile and slow response. Location is not good….very inconvenient unless you have a car.

Great experience - excellent food, cocktails, comfy beds and amazing view from the rooftop pool! Staff were super polite and helpful. Perfect location for a getaway. Surin beach is just a short 10min walk away, and loads of good restaurants and massage places nearby. We will be back for sure!
