Out of my month-long trip (I stayed in 6 different hotels), this was by far the best one, and I would definitely come back — I also really enjoyed the Rawai area itself. The Proud Rawai is not just a hotel, but a full apartment with amazing hotel-style service (daily cleaning, transfer service, complimentary tea/coffee/water) — it was so comfortable that I didn’t even want to leave.
The apartment was spacious, bright, very cozy and spotless. It had everything I needed: two sofas, two TVs, two air conditioners, a washing machine, toaster, juicer, kitchenware — literally everything. The bed was big and comfortable. There was a construction view from the window, but the noise didn’t bother me at all.
I also enjoyed the pool — it was clean and pleasant. Wi-Fi was stable, and all appliances worked perfectly. On the ground floor there’s a café, and within walking distance (about 7–10 minutes) is Rawai Beach — not really for swimming, but nice for a walk along the seafront. The fish market is also nearby (20 minutes on foot). Excursions and transfers were easy to arrange from here as well.
The staff were very friendly and responsive — they answered all my questions quickly via WhatsApp. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. I highly recommend The Proud Rawai, especially for longer stays.
