Let me start by saying I’m going into this review a little miffed. In my 40+ years of traveling, I’ve never had a hotel or motel tell me I can’t use my reward points. But in this case, I was told the points can only be used for “Standard Rooms” and all their standard rooms were booked. So I went ahead and paid for a … non-standard room???. Well, I got to my room and guess what - it was just a standard motel room. There was absolutely nothing special or deficient with this room. With that said and out of the way, here are the positive aspects of my stay. The facility is somewhat new and it was clean (the bleach smell hung heavy in the air). The staff was courteous, but not necessarily friendly. The bed was medium firm and there were plenty of pillows. The free breakfast was pretty good. Within 150 feet from the hotel there were two restaurant … the food at the Pho restaurant was really good. Now for some downsides … (1) for all you light sleepers, this was a noisy motel. Even though we were in a room on the backside of the motel facing an empty lot, we could still hear the nearby traffic noise. Additionally, we could hear guests talking in their room and hallway. We could also hear the footsteps from the floor above us. (2) this motel is located in a not so nice location of Tacoma … they even lock the front lobby doors after certain hours, so you need to use your room key card to enter the lobby and to operate the elevator. Connected to the noise issue … I did hear a couple of gun shots at about 3 AM.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a hotel in this neighborhood,but I loved this one! Emma at check-in turned around what had been a trying day by laughing with me. My room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.I was afraid I'd hear freeway noise, but I heard nothing. The mattress and pillows were amazing. The room showed some wear (chipped laminate, loose blind pulls), but nothing that impacted my stay. I was very happy that I chose to stay there! Also, lots of restaurants nearby.

It was wonderful to have 6 EV charging stations at this motel. Even though it was only 7.3kW/hr, it is free and enough to make a huge difference on travel. I booked this location specifically for the EV charging feature. I used the J1772 charger.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast and nice to have yogurt and fruit.
The only thing I would do differently is to request a top room floor. We were on the second floor and they do have high ceilings and large rooms, but the party above us was thumping on the floor, ie feet were running. We were in room 201 and I went up to 301 at 1030pm to talk to them. I told them we were getting ready for bed and it was pretty loud as they were right above our room. Although English clearly wasn't their first language, they said ”oh sorry!”. I thought it would start to get more quiet, but lasted until 12:30 am. Honestly, the rooms were dark with the shades closed and if they would have just turned out the lights, there would be absolutely no way anyone could be running around in the dark.
That was the only thing negative was the walls/ceilings might be a little thin, but I guess it depends on your neighbors and again, my request would have been a top floor to avoid this next time.
Beds were very comfortable, check in easy. And again.... Loved EV charging on site. Thank you!

We were looking for a night out for my birthday. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly front desk employees, Isela and Sabrina. They promptly checked us in and made us feel very welcome. During the welcoming, they found out it was my birthday. Isela and Sabrina wished me a happy birthday and made me feel special. Our room was clean, and we had a pleasant night’s sleep. The breakfast was also delicious and everything was kept very tidy around the serving area. We did not get the lady’s name who was working in the breakfast area but she was very pleasant and kindly assisted us with making our pancakes. Thank you for great customer service. Will stay here on our next visit to Auburn.

Convenience location. Checked in was fast and easy. Nelly, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Hotel is kinda outdated. It has swimming pool, however. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. AC was cool. No USB plugs though. If you stay more than 2 nights, housekeeper would knocked on door to ask if you need room to be cleaned, otherwise, they just replaced dirty towels or pickup trash. My biggest complaint was disposable utensils and breakfast choices. Very poor quality. Like other travelers commented on cheapest, flimsy utensils I have ever seen. Bread and Bagels didn't refill as needed, and it's just 7:30am. Not much of pastries or fruits either. Will choose other places next time when I'm in town.

PPengguna TetamuThis was a great surprise. This hotel is new, located in a very popular area, with lots of good restaurants near by. The room is spacious, very clean. They offer a laundry room for guests which ended up great for us to do laundry as we went from one national park to another. Customer service was very friendly as we did the check in. WiFi was the best so far in our room. A great place to stay if you are in the area, or in between national parks.

KkitsuanddateWe stayed in the Cottage just 1.5 miles from the main motel. It was a delightful cabin! Immaculate and well equipped, comfortable bed and a cozy fireplace. The privacy was the best part, well, except when the 15+ elk greeted us steps from the porch one morning! :-) The location is great, close to Mt Rainier entrance. Don't miss the hot tub-it's the perfect private spot to relax. (There's also a huge fire pit with seating by the Grill) Got a pizza from there and it was very good. Friendly and efficient staff made check-in & out easy. Tasty latte in the office, thanks Raven. Special thanks to Jennifer, she went the extra mile on more than one thing for us.

Worn out, dirty hotel. Nothing positive to tell about this hotel. We departed the same day as we checked in after abserving the hotel and watching our room. Swimming pool noisy. All in wine undrinkable, worse than vinegar. Snack bar buffet near the swimming pool lousy. Room with fungus and stains, would not even consider to stay one night. Booked via TUI, sold as 4* Hotel but it's a depressing nightmare. Hard to imagine how this hotel can get some positiive feedback on this site (might be fraud).

PPengguna TetamuWe enjoyed our stay here very much. Room/bathroom was clean and, had a full size fridge and kitchen. Customer service was accommodating and pleasant. Laundry room has 4 washers and 8 dryers! Very, very, convenient. Our 2 full beds had clean sheets/pillows and was comfortable. Only issue was the dish network kept losing signal but, I don't blame the hotel for that. Over all experience was exceptional and we're vary satisfied during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff (especially Dazza) for a great customer service.

I thought we packed ALL of our stuff up & out... when we went back afterwards the housekeeping staff found some of the kids toys and had stood/set them all up on the side of the TV for them. (Also taught me to double check inside & around the bedding for the kids things too)

We first walk in & there are homeless ”guests” everywhere & people who seem to be under the influence swarming the lobby & the parking lot. Already bad 1st impression. Me & my mom check in & the lady @ the front desk seems to be under the influence as well & completely disassociated. @ this point me & my mom just need a place to stay for the night so were ignoring the red flags. We ask for our room we pay the price & get checked in, we grab all of our stuff & head to the room. First of all the hallways reek of urine & cigarette smoke, & looked like they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. Second of all the elevator literally shakes & rumbles as if there was an earthquake happening. We get to our door room 231 & it has a huge pile of food crumbs & sunflower seats creating a door mat to the room. We quite literally thought we were being pranked when we opened the door to find our room looking like an actual crime scene. It was absolutely disgusting in there. We take a video & show it to the lady @ the front desk & explain that this is the room they just had us pay for so we want a refund & well find somewhere else to go tonight. The lady @ the front desk, heavier set white girl with glasses & scratches on her arm, literally looks @ us like that's normal & goes ”hmmm looks like they just forgot to ring it up in my system as 'dirty', & usually my manager handles stuff like that so you'll have to come in in the morning.” With that being said we ask for proof of room cancellation & a paper that says they will refund us in the morning in writing. It's the next morning & we ended up talking to the manager over the phone & getting a refund but not @ all worth your time, energy or money. & if only y'all knew the day we had prior to this... smh.
