Freeway noise is pretty loud but that’s not what bothers me. The issue with this place is the staff! When I arrived exhausted from traveling, all I wanted was to shower and sleep. But I’m standing there with another guy and there’s no one to help us. The desk was empty. Other guy yells “Hello” and no response. We can hear a girls voice talking in the back so she had to have hear guests calling her. The other guest starts getting visibly annoyed. He was there when I got there so who knows how long he was already waiting, so I decided to sit down in the lobby to wait. I started looking for other hotels in the area I could go to and looking into how to cancel my reservation without a cancellation fee. It was 23 minutes (yes I timed it) before that employee decided to grace us with her presence!! That by itself is completely unacceptable. But it gets worse. After all that, when she gets to the desk she just says “ID and credit card” not hello or welcome to the hotel. She was so inconvenienced by us being there and it was obvious. I’m still sitting in the lobby while this other guest checks in and he’s asking why he had to wait so long and the front desk girl says she was busy. That’s it. No apology. Busy doing what?? She was giggling and chatting it up with either another employee or someone on her phone. She clearly heard us in the lobby and just chose ignore us! My turn to check in and I think I’ll try a different approach than the other guest. I check her name tag, “Bailey.” So I proceed with “Hi Bailey is everything okay? We were waiting for a while and you seem a little flustered.” I’m thinking maybe this girl has something personal going on and she’s having a bad day. It happens. Her response was “you weren’t waiting I just saw you walk in.” And she proceeded to check me in snatching my card out of my hand (scratching my finger) and rolling her eyes with her attitude tuned up to 100%. She slams my room key onto the counter and pulls out her phone and starts texting. Didn’t even tell me where my room was. I’m never going to this hotel again. Huge disappointment.

Good location and the room was clean and parking was convenient. Near many restaurants and stores.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! As we drove into the driveway of the hotel, the area and buildings looked dilapidated, rundown and unsafe (Strike 1). As we entered the lobby on August 15 at 2:10pm, the desk clerk screamed at us “No check in til 3pm, sit down over there”. No Good Afternoon or Welcome to Quality Inn etc. (Strike 2). We sat in the lobby which featured furniture that was worn and shabby. Then sat and listened for several minutes to the desk clerk and another lady who appeared to be in housekeeping loudly discuss some suspicious “medicine” that they found in one of the rooms. They were also discussing long term residents that are too loud in this room and that room (Strike 3). I then started looking at recent reviews online and was shocked by what I saw, confirming that my instincts were correct. Luckily I had until 4pm to cancel my reservation and that’s what I did. We found a better Tacoma hotel to stay in. This hotel is NOT representative of the Choice Hotel brand and should not be a part of their hotels. When we book through the Choice Hotel website there is a certain standard that is expected, and Quality Inn and Suites in Tacoma, Washington does not meet the standard. Don’t be like me, read the recent reviews carefully before booking any hotel.

Let me start by saying I’m going into this review a little miffed. In my 40+ years of traveling, I’ve never had a hotel or motel tell me I can’t use my reward points. But in this case, I was told the points can only be used for “Standard Rooms” and all their standard rooms were booked. So I went ahead and paid for a … non-standard room???. Well, I got to my room and guess what - it was just a standard motel room. There was absolutely nothing special or deficient with this room. With that said and out of the way, here are the positive aspects of my stay. The facility is somewhat new and it was clean (the bleach smell hung heavy in the air). The staff was courteous, but not necessarily friendly. The bed was medium firm and there were plenty of pillows. The free breakfast was pretty good. Within 150 feet from the hotel there were two restaurant … the food at the Pho restaurant was really good. Now for some downsides … (1) for all you light sleepers, this was a noisy motel. Even though we were in a room on the backside of the motel facing an empty lot, we could still hear the nearby traffic noise. Additionally, we could hear guests talking in their room and hallway. We could also hear the footsteps from the floor above us. (2) this motel is located in a not so nice location of Tacoma … they even lock the front lobby doors after certain hours, so you need to use your room key card to enter the lobby and to operate the elevator. Connected to the noise issue … I did hear a couple of gun shots at about 3 AM.

Everything was great the employees are very attentive and friendly,they welcome you room was clean we loved our room size. Everything was exceptional the room and bathroom were spotless. I slept like a newborn.

Nice, decent, clean hotel with breakfast included and free parking. About 10 minute walk from Washington State Fairgrounds, while downtown Puyallup with restaurants and bars is about 20-25 minutes walk or a short drive. Rooms and bathrooms aren't the most modern but everything was very clean and comfortable. I was happy to get a room overlooking the trees (the other 3 sides of the hotel overlook either the parking lot or road). So I had a nice quiet stay. Staff are quite friendly and efficient (although they had a big line up of water bottles at the front desk and when I asked for one she said oh there's water bottles in the room, not mentioning that they are $4 each. If the water bottles at front desk are only reserved for top tier elite Bonvoy members maybe they should hide them out of the way, in my opinion, but that's just a minor point!)

We were looking for a night out for my birthday. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly front desk employees, Isela and Sabrina. They promptly checked us in and made us feel very welcome. During the welcoming, they found out it was my birthday. Isela and Sabrina wished me a happy birthday and made me feel special. Our room was clean, and we had a pleasant night’s sleep. The breakfast was also delicious and everything was kept very tidy around the serving area. We did not get the lady’s name who was working in the breakfast area but she was very pleasant and kindly assisted us with making our pancakes. Thank you for great customer service. Will stay here on our next visit to Auburn.

Tempat selesa yang bagus. Lorong agak sejuk. Boleh menggunakan lebih banyak tempat duduk di sekitar hartanah. Selain daripada itu ... tempat yang bagus
