River Place Inn accommodated us with a beautiful cabin situated over looking the river with geese we were able to feed in the yard and a hot tub on back porch we enjoyed and a large king size bed we will definitely be visiting again! Also the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and the staff was helpful. Would recommend it to everyone.

It was okay. They could use bigger and thicker blankets. And more pillows. Housekeeping everyday. Make the beds. Not just change the towels. Other then that had a awesome day week we was there. Will be back in August of next year. Will be up in September for bristol race

The check in kiosk was virtual, making me feel like I was staying in the ghetto, where no visible human dared show their face. My personal reaction to having to deal with another machine. The most annoying thing was that the water in the room never got hot. Sink OR shower. 4 days with a cold shower was not the experience I intended to pay for. When reported, the attendant brushed it off, saying she stayed in that unit all the time. Lady. Maybe you like cold showers. I do not. That detail alone was worth a ”never again.” No, people. It never got hot. If it is still cold after 20 minutes of running the shower at full hot setting, it's cold only. That's just not fun in October - or in any other month. There was no place to hang garments, and no hangers for them, either. Not even a space for that purpose, except for a weird wall-mounted object that looked like a fold-up table. It was not sufficient. No coffee maker in the room, and coffee in the ”lobby” was restricted to am only. Microwave and mini-fridge in the room was nice. Other than that, the place was adequate. A grocery store was nearby, as well as shopping and restaurants. Still, overall? Never again over the not-hot shower.

So I expected the basic hotel stay considering it was the cheapest hotel in the area? I had already stayed a week at one of the most expensive hotels on the strip and just decided to stay a couple days longer but save a few dollars! Everything was spotless clean compared to the more expensive hotel I stayed at the week before. I was truly shocked honestly it was such a pleasure the people were very nice and very helpful each time I needed something. The rooms sheets blankets were immaculate I mean the cleaning staff went above and beyond, the pool was stunning and it was open 24 hours which I had not seen at too many other hotels we stayed at. If you're looking for the cheapest place to stay and actually getting your money's worth especially nowadays this is the hotel for you & your family; it's everything you would expect in more for the price you pay... And it's right on the main strip 2 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and six minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! Tennesse was the BEST trip we ever went on as a family and we have been almost EVERYWHERE.

I checked into our rooms on Friday, October 11 checked out October 13 or stay was horrible. We arrived and checked in but did not go to our rooms we had a conference went to the conference came back about 10:15 PM. We had four rooms three rooms opened up the fourth room would not open had a security lock on we knocked, we yelled our key open the door, but the security lock was on. It tried to call downstairs with no answer. Had to go downstairs to talk to the front desk lady, and when we got to the lobby, there was approximately 30 men speaking Spanish could not speak English surrounded in the lobby , so waited in line when it was our turn to get up to desk lady, as those men rudely interrupted, stepped in front of you they were typing on their phone, translating it to English, shoving their phone in the ladies face when she was able to get away from the desk her manager on the phone telling him the situation was trying to tell her how to go upstairs and handle our situation to bring a copper wire to open the door. She came up. She worked a little while did not work. She said she was going to get another tool. We told her we was gonna continue to work on it. We worked in March and work finally got the door open and when we opened the door, there was a lady and two children in the room and she was screaming at us after we worked on the door for 45 minutes to get it open had knocked and yelled with no response from her previously and was told that they were booked and had no room but then soon as that became an issue of someone in that room, they had a room for us. The girl came back with the key, unlock the door went to make sure the room was good , we finally got into our room and went back downstairs to get some bottled water for our room. Those gentlemen were still in the lobby area and I was really concerned. The young lady working at the front desk did not come back to the facility the young lady was the only one at the facility and I feared for her and was very uncomfortable with us staying in that building with all those people around. I feel your manager failed his worker big time failed everyone who was staying at the hotel should have came into that hotel young lady should not have been there alone at any time especially what was going on and it was very suspicious that there was somebody in that room that they had give us keys for the keys, unlock that room and the lady was very suspicious. Don’t know what was going on, but something wasn’t right , when complementary all of those men were upstairs very rude stepping in front of you saving seats nowhere to sit because they had all of the seats at the breakfast area speaking their language so no one could understand them. I feel it’s a beautiful facility, but your management stinks. I spoke with an assistant manager on Saturday morning about the situation over the phone , she was very nice, but once things were done, couldn’t be fixed so it just made her stay very uncomfortable. PPengguna TetamuWow is all I can say, the man at the front desk was so nice and helpful at check in. The shower pressure was that of a 5 star hotel, the complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner on the wall was as good as those on Carnival cruises. Loved the balcony and the many pillows on each bed. My daughter and I are in aww of those as we have our own bed and personal space.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was older but clean. Convenient to Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountain parkway. The room had everything you needed mini fridge, small coffee maker, hairdryer. A elevator to the second and third floors. But it wasn’t convenient to both ends of the large outdoor entrances. The beds were comfortable. The room had a flat screen tv but the remote controls didn’t work. We tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn’t work either. When we went to the front desk to tell them, they said they didn’t know the rooms had phones. They gave us a new remote that also didn’t work. There was only 1 washcloth and towel in the room, but they gave us more when we went to the front desk. The air conditioning worked well. The pool was open but not heated as advertised.
