"The B&B room was incredibly spacious, especially perfect for a family of three. The large bathtub was a fantastic bonus, ideal for a relaxing soak after a long and tiring day. I also really enjoyed the common area on the ground floor of the B&B; it was a comfortable spot to relax while waiting for our water sports instructor. The scooter rental service, Manting Scooter Shop, recommended by the B&B, was excellent – they even provided phone holders for navigation, which was a thoughtful touch. Our main focus for this trip was water sports, and the snorkeling, kayaking, and SUP activities arranged through the B&B were all fantastic! We would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit! Highly recommended!👍👍"

SSharon CitroneRooms are lovely, but outdoor amenities need serious upgrading. Furniture at the pool and beach is old, the pool chairs are fixed and wooden and extremely uncomfortable. Swimming Pool is old-fashioned and in poor repair.
The hotel bar has a minimum charge per person - even when it is otherwise empty.
The ”boardwalk” to the beach, which avoids you having to cross the road, is smelly and mostly very ugly.
There were tour buses bringing new customers every day, it's a very busy hotel. Breakfast is a massive food operation of generally low quality but high choice of food to cover the many nationalities of guests.

SStaycationBearyFrom arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!
P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

GGj KenOur stay at Amanda Hotel is Awesome! We enjoy swimming in the pool area,our room is comfy,the food is delicious ,they have these moroccan style outfit for rent that gives highlight to the hotel and it was very entertaining though, i think they just need to add some clothes or a bit repair is needed but overall i would say it worth the penny.and thanks to the very accomodating staff! They did great🙌💚

SSuzieWe stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

MMC Chan ChanThe bathtub is very good, with sufficient water pressure and quick draining. The breakfast is simple and is freshly prepared by the owner, Sister Hong, which is very thoughtful. The location is also very convenient because it is right between Hengchun and Kenting. I asked about the motorcycle rental service, but the shop kept saying that they couldn't rent with my international license. Finally, I went to the aunt at ”Haizhijia” next door and successfully rented a motorcycle for a day. Fortunately, it didn't affect my original itinerary. Thank you Sister Hong for your help. The air conditioner in the room was a bit noisy, so I just turned it off at night and slept with the window open and the fan on the lowest setting. The weather now is not very hot and acceptable, but it is hard to say if it is summer season.
In addition, there is a small shop next to it called ”Shiyi”, the food there is very delicious. I would like to recommend where you can have a meal. You can google it for detailed reviews.

AAnonymous UserNo bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.

The rooms were spotless, and the comfortable bedding allowed me to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and check-in was handled quickly and efficiently. All staff members were friendly and quick to resolve any issues. The hotel's facilities were also well-maintained; the bathroom featured a modern design with a separate shower area and provided ample, stable hot water. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, providing plenty of energy for the day. The overall ambiance was quiet, and it offered excellent value for money.

ドドイchanIt takes about 70 minutes to get to Kenting Pailou by taking the Kenting Express bus from near Kunryo Station. I arrived at the hotel in ５ minutes on foot from the place of getting off. He was a cat-loving owner. The seafood restaurant Kachin recommended by the owner was good for dinner ... It was delicious and reasonable price 👍
By the way, it is close to the cherry blossom nose park, and it is good to enjoy sightseeing in about 15 〜 20 minutes from the bus stop in the center of Kenting Street.

A family room for two adults and two children was very comfortable! The first night was quiet and we slept well. Unfortunately, on the second night, a group of young guests arrived on the upper floor. From 10 PM onwards, they started laughing and shouting non-stop, playing games, and constantly pulling out beds, tables, and chairs. The noise was outrageous the entire night, and didn't stop until 5 AM. The same thing happened on the third night. They ruined our entire trip!

GGuest UserVery nice place to stay. It seems newly built or renovated and it was very clean. We had a great room with a balcony.
Staff is super friendly and really went the extra mile to help us, despite a slight language barrier (they were able to communicate all relevant information in English to us). There was free coffee, tea, and snacks available (including snacks from the island).
You may choose between a pre-made breakfast at the hotel or vouchers for a breakfast at a take away place that’s a five-minute scooter drive away. We choose the latter - it’s a nice local experience, a bit of a challenge for non-Chinese speakers such as ourselves, so if you don’t want to figure it out, the pre-made breakfast might be a better option.
You can also rent an e-scooter here, which is nice but do keep in mind that it’s silent - so other people in traffic may not hear you. We had no problems but I noticed some people crossing that seemed to have no idea we were passing. A plus is that you can change the battery for free at several points on the island.
