Amazing historical hotel! Perfect location to train stations and the leaning tower of Pisa - Roughly 10-15 min walk. Beautiful sunsets on the river just in front of the hotel. Tough having no air con in summer though and bathroom facilities aren’t the greatest. But can’t expect much from the oldest hotel in Italy.

A marvellous hotel museum! We've enjoyed wandering the building thru its history, art pieces, documents... we definitely suggest to plan at least a couple of hours for it in your agenda :) old kitchen included!

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. It's right in the middle, between the old and new parts of the city, with everything within walking distance. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was very noisy and the hotel itself was quite thin-walled. But apart from that, we had a great stay.

This was a great experience! The hotel is a historical beauty, great location, nice breakfast. The only thing that bothered a lot was awful street noice. It was Friday night, so some people outside were hanging around till late night, sometimes screaming like crazy. We closed the windows and shutters, it didn’t help. We had a corner room on the 1st floor.

The hotel is amazing, so much history. With age there comes issues, but it’s the perfect place.

Bad smell. Shabby bathroom. No air conditioning. Moldy headboard. Everything is old-fashioned.

We only know this is the oldest hotel in Italy and was very surprise and happy to stay at this hotel. A lot of antique and aged items on display, and good for photo shooting. Location is very near to leaning tower of Pisa which is walking distance.

It's fair, but some things could be improved. The rooms are very outdated, especially the bathroom and the beds.

Beautiful old hotel with old doors and locks. Breakfast was great. Shower was cold in both of our rooms. So can’t give top review. Staff apologized and said it was only a few rooms that had that problem. So. Check water temp before accepting that room.

Love the Victorian vibes. Location is amazing very near tourist spots and breakfast was great. There’s also a lovely Gelato place just a couple of blocks from the hotel.

Locate beside the river with the nice view. 10 mins walk from the station but very close to restaurant. 15 mins walk to Pisa tower. Staff is very nice. Room is a bit old but look like having history in it.

The hotel is quite grand and feels very historic, with oil paintings and pianos dotted throughout. I booked a room by the river, and the view was absolutely lovely. The front desk staff were also very thoughtful, providing a map and even highlighting various attractions for me. The only real headache was the toilet flush – the button was incredibly stiff and hard to control, making my finger sore from pressing it so hard. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was still very good.
