This is a small, lovely guest house— not quite a hotel with full hotel services,so there isn’t someone at the desk 24 hours a day. It’s about halfway down Via Orsini, on the left side and up a stone staircase. It’s in an old building that has been very nicely redone on the interior with new wiring, plumbing, lighting, etc. When you arrive, you may need to phone in order to contact the host. The phone number is posted on the door, and she’s very prompt to respond. The rooms are good size, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. There’s decent wifi. The bathroom is similarly spotless and functional, with a glassed-in shower and a corner — one that’s a bit larger than I’ve seen in some other hotels with updated rooms in old buildings. You get a continental breakfast, available down the street at a pleasant cafe. Two things to be aware of: You have to walk up an exterior staircase to the front door, and then if your room is on an upper floor, you have to walk up - there’s no elevator. And those new interior walls are thin. You can hear someone talking on the phone in an adjacent room (and people do tend to speak loudly into their cell phones.)

Wir haben hier zwei Nächste verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer überzeugen durch Funktionalität und Sauberkeit in einem schönen, historischen Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt, in nächster Nähe zum Dom und zur Hauptstrasse, trotzdem nicht laut. Besonders zu erwähnen auch die Terrasse, auf der man ein Glas Wein oder einen Apero geniessen kann mit sehr schönem Blick auf Wiesen und Hügel. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war selten jemand im Haus, das machte die Athmosphäre ein bisschen anonym, was für uns kein Problem war. Ein paar kleine Nachteile könnten wir erwähnen: Steile Treppen für schwere Koffer, vor allem bei Zimmern weiter oben. Da im Dorfkern gibts auch mal einen Fernseher zum mithören (nicht schlimm). Das Frühstück wurde in der nahen Bar gereicht und war uns dann doch zu italienisch (ausschliesslich Süssigkeiten).

Hôtel ouvert en Juin 2023. Ravissant et actuel, climatisé, très bonne literie, des objets vintage, une déco un peu chargée mais sympathique. Belle terrasse sur le toit. Idéalement situé dans la zone historique, seul bémol pas d’accès en voiture et parking le plus proche à 10 mn à pied (il vaut mieux voyager léger.
