Such a beautiful house right in centre of Pitlochry, close to amenities, cafes restaurants bars, approx 15minute walk to Blair Atholl Distillery and Black Spout Wood. Bed was great size and comfy, en-suite was small but clean, kettle provided with tea and coffee, towels, big bedroom and clean. Wasn’t too noisy for being at the front and even with window open. Cristian was a pleasant host , breakfast was delicious.

This cottage is so cute and your first impression is WOW due to the manicured gardens and when you venture inside it does not disappoint. Situated on the edge of town it is a perfect place to stay so you can wander and explore the village and then return to relax in this beautiful home. We had a room at the front with a beautiful view of the mountains. The host is very welcoming and cooks a fantastic breakfast. We highly recommend a stay at the Buttonboss Lodge B&B

We recently stayed at Buttonboss Lodge in Pitlochry and had a pleasant stay. The greeting was warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and furnished in a standard way, providing everything we needed. The mattresses were a bit soft for our liking. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Overall, a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

Start with positives; handy location, smart garden, clean, decent WiFi. The 'not so goods' are longer. The place is tired (more diplomatic reviewers have used words like 'homely'). I'm reluctant to say it, but our room reminded me of my mother's care home - yellow painted walls, cheap pine furniture and an overpowering niff of cleaning products. Curtains were off hooks, wardrobe door awry, a hairdryer that sounded distressed, locks that don't turn. Another issue was noise; traffic from the road out front, the place literally shakes when trains pass (mercifully not that often) but, most sound emanated from within through paper-thin walls. Breakfast was indeed cooked fresh, but overcooked. And served without grace or smiles. So, in summary, a question of expectations, sorry to say that, even for a 3 star at £125 for 2 per night, I expected more.

We had a friendly, welcoming stay here! Friend and I booked two rooms for two nights each. The innkeeper was attentive and cordial, with much congenial and engaging interaction between staff and the guests. Note that the breakfast was prepared to order each morning. This inn radiates true hospitality.

We travelled by train so this was an ideal place to stay, being only a few minutes walk from the station. It is an old property with character and very clean. Cristian is a great host. He gave us plenty of local information and makes a good breakfast.

Such a fabulous polite and cheery host Christian. Spotless room and huge bed , breakfast was served hot beautiful plus best pot of tea I've had in a long time. Homely atmosphere and cosy.Many thanks 😊 Helen Erskine.

Lovely stay - we spent a night here when visiting The Enchanted Forrest. Brilliantly located with parking and only a few minutes walk to shops, bars and the pick up point for buses. We had a double room at the front of the building which was perfectly adequate for a couple. It’s a traditional B&B building with decor to match but the room had plenty of modern touches including a comfy cosy bed. Cristian was very welcoming and breakfast was cooked to order with tasty options. All in all we would definitely recommend.

We had a good stay at this bed and breakfast. They have several rooms in a nice looking old building. The rooms are big enough, at least ours was, the shower works with a button. Very convenient. They have a central seating area. Also very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast also. Cooked to order full Scottish, or how you like it, with a vegetarian option included. Otherwise you can take cereals with milk or or whatever. English tea and fresh brewed coffee what else do you want!
