Cuando vas de vacaciones, aspiras siempre a que el hotel donde te alojes te haga sentir como en casa, y ciertamente, éste ha cumplido todas las expectativas. Detalles como el parking sin coste alguno, café, tés y agua, así como la nevera, caja fuerte , limpieza y la tranquilidad que se respira, convierten a este hotel de 3 estrellas, en un paraíso al que volver. Si a todo lo anterior, le añades la amabilidad del personal en general, poco más queda por decir. Menciòn muy especial a Susana de recepciòn, quien por su profesionalidad, simpatía y ganas de que tu estancia sea lo más còmoda posible, hace que quieras volver de nuevo. Felicidades al hotel por contar con una persona como ella!!!

We spend 4 nights as a family of 5 in this hotel. Overall inside of the hotel was very clean, outside however there were rats running around all day and the staff didn’t seem to care when we alerted them. More interested that my son didn’t have a T-shirt on. They were running around the pool area and pool bar which by the way was never open during our stay. Maybe due to the rat infestation as this appeared to be where they were coming from. The food was acceptable despite it being stone cold every meal and only the French were catered for. The snack bar was terrible, not open the hours it should be. I large bowl of crisps barely covered by some cling film, some fruit and two of the days there was the odd dried up, weird smelling sandwich. Entertainment was ok- again all catered for French & Spanish which wouldn’t bother us generally but the children were excluded. Even making water polo English vs Spanish/ French. In my opinion the hotel is more of a two star rating.

Excellent hôtel, très bon emplacement en plein centre ville, et pourtant c'est vraiment très calme à l'intérieur. Le personnel est très professionnel et extremement gentil. L'hôtel est tout neuf, la chambre est joliment agencé avec de très beau materiaux. Le petit déjeuner est de très bonne qualité. Je recommande cet hôtel qui est un vrai 4 étoiles.

We just got back from a multi-day family stay at this hotel. We had been on holidays in this area previously but this was our first time at S'Agaro Hotel. The hotel's location is amazing as it's just a few metres away from a lovely beach. The hotel and facilities are nice, clean and very well presented. The staff were all very polite and kind. The breakfast was good quality although a bit repetitive. The price for our say was substantially higher than other similar 4 star hotels in the same area. One good thing was that their rate was cancellable which is why we booked it in the end. If some of the other 4 star hotels in the area had offered cancellable rates, we would have probably gone for a slightly cheaper option than this hotel. The rooms a bit smaller than we hoped for but were adequate and clean. One of the big negatives is about the swimming pool. Although there's a large board stating what is and isn't allowed, this is not monitored by hotel staff and most of the rules are disregarded by guests. For example, eating and drinking in the sunlounges or keeping their dogs with them. More worryingly, plenty of people vaped and smoked in the sunlounges and not just tobacco, judging by the smell, stronger stuff too, which for a family hotel I found very poor. Although access to the hotel's area by car is heavily policed by security guards, accessing the hotel's pool on foot is not controlled at all so we regularly so random people walking in, swimming in the pool and then just leaving the premises without anyone challenging them. This was the case with both a group of local young back-packers and also a group of noisy French guys. None of them disturbed us directly, but I thought it was a bit off putting. In the age of social media, I assume people tell each other that this pool is widely open to anyone and people just use it without being guests at the hotel. We were travelling with children and all this made use feel a bit uneasy in the pool area. The gym is basic and limited in terms of equipment, specially weights. Another negative is with regards to food and drink in the room. We all know that anything from inside the mini-bar is chargeable. However, this is the first hotel I see where they place items like coffee capsules in a table in your room and then charges you for consuming them, at the end of your stay. Finally, I understand the hotel is dog friendly and guests are allowed them in their rooms, however, I wasn't happy to regularly see people taking their dogs to the swimming pool area (not in the water though) and also have them in the outdoor restaurant during breakfast time. In summary, nice hotel in great location, a bit overpriced and needs stronger pool access control policies.

Our room was a good size, although it was interior facing, but this was not a major problem for a one night stay. It had a lot of storage space so would be perfect for a longer stay. The cleanliness could have been better, as we found lots of fluff on the floor and stains on the mirror. The location of the hotel was also great, many bars and restaurants nearby and it’s right next to the beach. We had the breakfast included and were so impressed with the service, despite being in a post-Covid era. It was still a buffet breakfast, but very well controlled - all guests were given gloves and had to enter with masks on, and the lady was only letting a few people in the food area at a time. If it is done correctly like this, there is still the possibility to enjoy a buffet breakfast.

Nos alojamos en el hotel para asistir a una boda. Todo correcto, llegamos antes de tiempo y nos permitieron aparcar el coche y acceder a las instalaciones. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. Es algo caro, pero la zona y la época se pagan. Sin embargo, el parking me pareció económico. Nos podrían haber informado algo más sobre el servicio de bar o cafetería.

Enjoyable building sorrounded by a vivid garden and with an inviting swimming pool. City center is at 15/20 minutes walk and at the same distance you can find the beautiful beach of Saint Pol and the hiking route over the amazing rocky beaches. The rooms are well equipped, some also with balcony. The WiFi is super powerful and stable. Very kind and attentive personnel. The breakfast is extremely rich and tasty. A very nice choice.

This was our third stay at the Elke Hotel and I don't usually write reviews as I stay at many hotels but this hotel is a jewel. A very good example of a four star hotel that deserves five stars. It has the right balance between privacy and amicable and honest service. Eugenia in particular has been wonderful every time we come. She is pleasant, helpful and good at her job. Also a big shout out for the rest of the reception team and the breakfast manageress - who remembered what we liked and made sure we had perfectly cooked fresh fried eggs every morning. The place and room are spotless and clean, welcoming and nice and new yet warm. the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Even though we had to change hotels for the last night of our stay in San Feliu as the were closing down for a few days after Christmas so the staff could spend time with their families for the holidays, we respect that as it shows management appreciates its staff . Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Oh and the Spa is fantastic - new and very clean and welcoming.

Auf unseren vielen Reisen haben wir schon sehr viele nette Gastgeber kennengelernt. Das Personal im Ancora gehört in dieser Hinsicht zur absoluten Oberklasse. Egal ob an der Rezeption, beim Abendessen, beim Frühstück sowie auch das Reinigungspersonal, alle waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit und fleißig. Unser Zimmer war schön groß mit einer schönen Aussicht über die Dächer hinweg durch einige Bäume auf das Meer. Auch hatten wir einen schönen Balkon vor unserem Zimmer. Wir hatten keinen Meerblick gebucht, keine Ahnung, ob wir ein Upgrade bekommen haben. Auch das Bad war ausreichend groß und es hat alles gut funktioniert. Die Dusche hatte einen kräftigen Wasserstrahl, war schön warm und hat ebenfalls gut funktioniert. Es war alles sauber. Unser Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher haben frisch und angenehm gerochen. Man konnte selbst bestimmen, wie oft man die Handtücher gewechselt bekommt. Das Internet war nicht sehr schnell, aber sehr zuverlässig und stabil. In unserem Zimmer gab es einen recht großen LED Fernseher, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Trotz unserer orthopädischen Probleme konnten wir in den Betten sehr gut liegen, Diese hatten eine sehr gute Qualität. Es gab einen Aufzug, der gut und zuverlässig funktioniert hat. Obwohl wir in der absoluten Nebensaison Anfang März in diesem Hotel waren und das Hotel so gut wie nicht belegt war, haben wir ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet vorgefunden. Neben den kompletten normalen Standards gab es Eier, die auf Wunsch entsprechend zubereitet wurden, Bacon, sowie ganz ausgezeichnete regionale, katalanische Käse und Wurstspezialitäten, sowie regionale Süßspeisen. Der Orangensaft war offensichtlich frisch gepresst. Sobald etwas zur Neige ging, wurde unverzüglich nachgefüllt. Der Kaffee aus dem Kapselautomaten hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Abends konnte man im hoteleigenen Restaurant essen. Die Preise bewegen sich auf dem Niveau der ortsüblichen Preise. Die Gerichte, die wir hatten, egal ob es Hähnchen waren, Lammschulter, verschiedene Fischgerichte, sogar Seeigel oder Beilagen haben allesamt sehr gut geschmeckt. Vor dem Hotel sind sowohl auf der Straße als auch auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite ein großer privater kostenfreier Parkplatz für das Hotel vorhanden. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
