The hotel, rooms, grounds, spa facilities etc on site are stunning!! Very clean, very modern, it has everything you need. Great location too.. this place has so much going for it, and on the face of it should be amazing! Unfortunately as mentioned in many other reviews, this hotel does fall short of its potential which is a real shame. For an all inclusive hotel, you feel quite restricted in what you can and can't do/have. Queues for the bars aren't too bad, but are unnecessary. Restaurant staff work hard but there just isn't enough of them, again unnecessary. I say unnecessary as there is a simple solution.. offer more self service for soft and hot drinks. This would reduce waiting times at bars and take pressure off staff. Many other all inclusive hotels allow you to get your soft/hot drinks and people are generally happier with that arrangement. This hotel doesn't offer that, you have to wait for service on everything. These may be personal issues for us, but I have very sensitive skin, and unfortunately couldn't use any of the pools at the hotel. The salt water pool is over the top salty, and whatever they put in the other pool caused me issues as well. The sea was less salty and I swam in there just fine! My wife is a vegetarian, it may be a cultural thing, but there just are not enough suitable vegetarian options at the hotel. If you have sensitive skin or are a vegetarian, look elsewhere! Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.. credit to Alejandro and Lucia as well as a few others (we didn't get the other names unfortunately) they were brilliant. However, such was my frustration with two members of staff on separate occasions I ended up shouting at them.. which is out of character for me.. they were very rude, and made my family feel like we were causing them a nuisance after making very simple requests. 1. As a family of three, (two adults and a child) I ordered two alcoholic drinks, and a pineapple juice at the evening bar. I was refused service as their rule is two drinks per person. I was told I'd have to bring the whole family to the bar to get three drinks. However they also have a rule that children aren't allowed to go to the bar. Doesn't add up.. I fully understand the need to limit drinks per person, but a bit of common sense in this situation would have been great. 2. As part of the all inclusive you can book one evening in the 'a la carte' restaurant. On the Thursday we went to reception and asked to book ourselves in for the 'a la carte'.. Javier asked us for a filled in booking form.. we were never given a booking form on arrival so asked if we could have one. He rolled his eyes and shook his head then reluctantly went to the computer to book us in without a booking form. He took our room number, put it on the computer and said "You leave on Sunday, you only give me two days!?" again, shaking his head, rolling his eyes and sucking his teeth. I told him that if it was too much trouble for him, then to forget it.. I had
