Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage die Mitarbeiter im Speiseraum waren sehr freundlich und das Essen hervorragend. Das Hallenbad war top sowie die Sauna Das Dampfbad müsste erneuert werden da die Fliesen schon abfallen.

Good location, hotel well maintained. Good service, rooms cleaned daily and water replaced. Staff helpful and friendly. Several members of staff stood out two being Miguel and Ines. Check out all inclusive options as not as all inclusive as you think, restrictions apply.

Excellent choice! The hotel has 4 floors and approx. 160 rooms, but only 2 elevators. However, I never waited. The rooms are small, the furniture is old, but functional, the mattress comfortable and the bedding impeccable. I appreciated the existence of a safe in the room. The only thing we were missing was a kettle and glass cups instead of plastic ones. The staff is kind and always available. We would like to thank the people at the reception for recommending local travel agencies and choosing the excursions.

Really loved our stay at this hotel. It was very relaxing and just what we wanted. The pool had plenty of chairs and shaded areas, which is normally an issue. Our dinner server Alberto was fantastic and made our holiday that extra bit special. Will be back again!

Very nice hotel which we've been visiting since 1987. Good quality of food, nice accomodation, friendly and helpful staff Only 300 m from the beach and the nightlife :-)

Occidental Playa de Palma was away from the busy coastal crowds but close enough to walk to if you wanted to experience the beach front, mini golf, ride bikes, or a longer walk to the water park. Staff was courteous and friendly. All around 5 stars and we thoroughly enjoyed out stay!

Booked a four day break as just needed to chill. Stayed in Barceló group loads, sometimes 3 times a year, Booked AI as didn’t want to go far. When we got here the bathroom was dated, and not up to Barceló but wasn’t too concerned. Then found out the premier adults only was only if you had booked a superior room, again wasn’t fussed and was prepared to spend 10 euros each a day, even though there was no warning when booking. Was a bit shocked when the only alcoholic drinks included in the all inclusive package was up to 3 with lunch and 3 with dinner. Again didn’t want to ruin holiday so though we’ll sit in the sun at lunch, but no, had a small salad at lunch, because I don’t want to eat loads, asked if we could move to a table 2 metres away which was out of the covered area to have our 3 drinks we were allowed. But no, had to sit in the shade on the designated table 2 metres away, some people loved to eat lunch in the shade for 2 to 3 hours, but some don’t including me. It is the same in the evening, 3 drinks in the evening in the dining room whilst eating dinner ( I would only ever have 1) yet ridiculously , not allowed any drink in the afternoon or evening. As a grown adult I have no intention of bing drinking, but feel on my holidays I should be able to decide when and where I have my 6 alcoholic drinks on holiday. Some staff very helpful and sorry about the rules, others rude and bad tempered, probably because they are sick of having to to face the customers and explain the rules. Management just said it was law, to stop binge drinking, but you are more that welcome to binge drink if you pay extra on top over 12000 euros for 4 days. Again, I don’t over eat, or drink, but if I am only allowed 6 drinks surely I can decide when. Sadly will never come back and I have lost faith in the Barceló group as I stupidly presumed I would get a similar level of service at them all. I will continue to use the ones I know an love around Europe but will never chance a new one again.

I have to say that the staff really make this hotel. We had some issues with our rooms on arrival and they were brilliant and sorting everything out. The food was brilliant for the number of people they have to cater for and of a really high standard. All staff were always friendly and chatty. The hotel was very busy and we couldn’t fault anything. Always able to get a sunbed at the pool. The rooms could do with some TLC as the air con could have been a bit better but we were staying in the height of summer and a heat wave. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
