This is such a dreamy place to stay! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. I had some of the best sleeps of my life in the peaceful, specious and very comfortable room. The food was absolutely delicious, including the great selection at the breakfast buffet. Some mornings I could see a view of beautiful Mount Machhapuchare from the hotel. I am definitely hoping to stay here again! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

Como he comentado en algún otro caso, para este hotel las cinco estrellas de la calificación no son suficientes para expresar la excelencia que, para nuestro gusto, presenta. Ubicado en Phewa Lake, Pokhara, para acceder al mismo se cruza un canal en balsa o bote, los que están habilitados las 24 horas del día, lo que permite un entorno único que brinda tranquilidad a pesar de estar cerca de la zona de más movimiento de la ciudad. La disposición de las cabañas es muy original, inmersas en hermosos jardines y con vistas increíbles del lago y las montañas del Annapurna Range, destacándose el Fishtail (Machapuchare) que da nombre al hotel. Las habitaciones amplias, con todas las comodidades, muy limpias y cómodas, lo que permite un excelente descanso luego de los hermosos paseos que se pueden realizar en las cercanías. Muy buenos desayunos y excelente restaurante con oferta variada y muy rica, donde el propio chef nos brindó información sobre los distintos platos, mientras que Prakash siempre estaba atento a nuestros requerimientos, al igual que todos los/as mozos/as siempre atendiéndonos con la calidez proverbial nepalí. También hay que destacar esa calidez y atención al pasajero del resto del personal, tanto de quienes se ocupaban de la limpieza, como el jefe de encargados de los jardines que nos explicó las características de algunas de las muchas plantas que lo integran, Orson (uno de sus ayudantes), recepción y no me quiero olvidar de las personas encargadas de cruzarnos en balsa o en bote hacia la ciudad, todos/as con un denominador común: siempre con una sonrisa en sus labios. A este Lodge sólo le encuentro una “desventaja”… es muy difícil dejarlo para salir a hacer los paseos…

I stayed a few nights at the Pohara Grande Hotel on my travels in Nepal organized by Eternal Journeys, Pokhara is a small town with plenty to look forward to, including the early sunrise excursion to the top of Sarangkot View Tower, watching as the sun comes up, illuminating the peaks on Annapurna and the Himalayas, magic is not the word that says enough about this place.

What a lovely hotel. Set a walking distance from the Phewa Tal, the restaurants and shops it is ideally situated. The hotel offers commanding views of Fishtail Mountain and the Annapurna range. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and the beds are huge. The grounds of the hotel are just lovely, such a variety of plants growing. The hotel has a swimming pool but it was undergoing repairs during our visit. The food was very good and the attending staff happy and attentive. All the reception staff speak very good English (I’m not sure about any other languages) and I found that nothing was too much trouble for them. Assistance always given with the famous Nepali peoples smile. Loved the hotel and would stay there again.

This hotel is wonderful, Goma who services out rooms is fantastic makes it beautiful everyday. The hotel staff are amazing, fantastic and can’t do enough for you! I love this place. You have the lakeside on your doorstep. Shops and bars down the road. I must have to say though Sirjana is the best and most beautiful waitress I’ve ever met, she will make an amazing hospitality manager one day! The culture dancing as well for the evening entertainment is beautiful to watch and can also join in near the end of the routine. Fantastic place, staff and food! Please come to this hotel you won’t be disappointed! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

very good hotel, great service, good food and a large selection, very clean premises. rooms very spacious and with a nice view. hotel located in the center of pokhara. equipped with a spa area with a beautiful swimming pool. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting these areas.
