Hotel berhampiran Parque Infantil, Pontevedra Province

El hotel esta reformado y se ve cuidado y limpio. La ubicacion está genial, solo a 10min andando del centro, y justo al lado de la estación Urzaiz y un centro comercial. Nos tocó una super habitación enorme. Austera en cuanto de decoración pero con parqué y baño reformado. Las chicas de recepción super amables y atentas. Hay cafe e infusiones gratis las 24h en la cafetería, algo que me ha parecido un detallazo. Lo único que me ha faltado es el restaurante propiamente, para poder cenar en el hotel algún día, pero en un B&B ya es lo que se espera, solo aloj. y desayuno :P Lo recomiendo mucho.

También los jardines de la Plaza de Pontevedra ofrecen un agradable entorno. Además la zona de típicos bares de vinos, cervezas y tapas se encuentra bastante cerca

I really enjoyed this place, it was beyond my expectations. The location is really beautiful, nested between the mountain and the coastline in a gorgeous setting. The establishment doesn´t have the swanky atmosphere of others but a rather casual and relaxed vibe. The facitilies are clean and well kept. My room had a nice balcony facing the sea and the views were fantastic. Simple decor and good beds. My reservation included access to the spa. Although it´s not brand new, its rather big, and there are lots of jets and so on. Jets are strong and the water temperature was really ok. The only downside is that your stay is limited, in order to allow other clients come and use the facility. One of the strong points here is food, not only the breakfast -even the orange juice- was very good, the restaurant service was fantastic, which is an important factor if you plan to go on a half-board regime, as the hotel is located by the road: there are some towns around, but you need to go there by car. Food was abundant, well cooked and presented and soft-flavoured. There´s also a beautiful terrace, ideal to enjoy the sunset views as you have a drink with your friends. Nice and efficient staff.

It was the cheapest hotel on our entire trip and it wasn’t the worst by far! We got our room in what seemed to be the “new” area and it was spacious, clean and quiet! The spa was lovely too and my friends massage a total bonus on the experience! We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was all a great experience! We decided to go down to the buffet breakfast and it was a bit of a let down compared to the rest of the facilities: toasters weren’t working properly, cereal selection was a bit poor, but that’s just been picky! I would 100% come back!

Ambiente agradable El hotel tiene un buen ambiente, es cómodo, está limpio y el personal es muy agradable con un pequeño fallo en un camarero que no resta nada a toda la experiencia. Comenzamos solos en pareja y acabamos siendo familia con dos niños. Nos da seguridad tanto en la piscina, el parque y la playa enfrente. Céntrico en carril y muy cerca de Vilagarcia y de la estación del tren con lo que el coche no se ha movido del garaje. Repetiremos en próximos años

Fizemos a reserva um pouco ”em cima da hora”, um tanto apreensivos com os comentários menos positivos que tínhamos lido. Aparentemente, seria um hotel ”no meio de nada”, com um excelente SPA. O quarto que nos atribuíram era enorme, com vista para a rua principal e com uma casa de banho ampla. Bons colchões e travesseiros. Íamos com regime de meia pensão, que se revelou ser a melhor opção. Muitos bons pequenos almoços.O hotel tem excelentes condições, a equipa é muito simpática, atenciosa e disponível, ultrapassando em muito o mero profissionalismo. O SPA é dos melhores que encontrámos, com um circuito de águas muito completo. A envolvência é muito agradável, no meio de bosques e cascatas. Um pormenor que vale a pena referir: inadvertidamente e sem que nos tivéssemos apercebido, deixámos cair uma quantia em dinheiro (€60) e, quando chegámos ao quarto, após a limpeza efectuada, a mesma estava colocada sobre a secretária existente no quarto. Por todas as razões, recomendamos sem hesitações este hotel, na Galiza porfunda.

Cute, charming property, however the service was HORRIBLE. The owner even screamed at me! We were a group of 12 people walking the Camino. The first person of my group arrived by herself, and they didn’t want to send her a taxi as it was promised on the reservation. They said that they don’t send taxis for just one passenger, and this client Sofia, had to wait two hours for her parents to join her, and then, the hotel sent the taxi. She was by herself two hours in a restaurant without knowing what to do. The booking company never informed us that in order to receive a taxi a minimum of guests was required. The waiter at the restaurant at dinner times was distracted, mixing orders, and trying to convince one of my clients that he can’t take a Martini and a glass of wine at the same time! One or the other! Who cares! If the client pays for both drinks, the waiter is nobody to be judging a client’s drinking behavior. One of the guests requested salt three times for French fries, with no results. He finally went to another table to ask other hotel guests for the salt they had in their table. And I can continue for hours describing the lack of professionalism in this place. We are all Spanish speaking, therefore no language barrier. The owner, as I said, he was very arrogant and uneducated. I was talking to him, standing by his table, while he was eating cheese and bread. He never stopped eating and/or invited me to the table, and/or standing so he can be talking to me at the same physical level (basic rules of education); I addressed the taxi situation in addition to the fact that they left my luggage into another client’s room, making this totally inappropriate for them and for me. Can you imagine if there was something missing from our suitcase? Who is responsible? Well, this man said that it was this client’s fault to “accept” these suitcases into their room. Unbelievable!! He was one of these persons “My way or the highway.” Rooms have no AC, no elevator, and no phones! I had one towel only for two guests, and when I was in the shower, I noticed it and there was no phone to call the receptionist. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The room was not clean. When I addressed these issues to the lady in the morning at checkout (I am suspicious that she was his wife) she just said “Vale” (Ok) No apologies, she was not surprised, and she mentioned that if I wanted another towel, I should have used my cellular. I replied that making an international phone call to request a towel was totally unthinkable. Last, we were “lucky” to have the owner driving us back to the Camino. He never opened us the door, or the trunk; never helped with our luggage; he was comfortable seated by the wheel all the time. And he drove us super-fast to intimidate us. Terrible! Stay away from this place.
