Filthy, need to look at a new cleaner !! And please do not say "it's the tropics, you have to expect that". What i expect of a 4 star resort is NOT - cobwebs and dust on the lounge room lamp, dust, dirt and cobwebs on the screens, exhaust fan over stove dirty and rusted, cutlery dirty, dishes and plates dirty and saucepan with food still stuck on the inside of it. Bathtub and bathroom need serious work and no hair-dryer!! The TV would only work on the one kids station, and no DVD that was usable, also remote control in cupboard with DVD player covered in a layer of dust. Our outlook was onto a garden that was overgrown and full of debris. Both my daughter and my grandson as well as me left there with sore throats and unwell. There is a lot more I could say but I think I have said enough to alert other holiday makers to be wary of the 4 stars because it definitely is not !!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Reef Club, for the what you pay and the value in return it was worth it. A small note on things like no additional toilet paper, tissues, travel soaps and/or shampoo's being unavailable after you go through your 'starter kit' to us seemed a bit borderline, but the rooms are neat, the place is full of character, you can walk to the beach and every morning and night you can hear all that terrific wildlife that lives on the doorstep. Thanks.

I saw someone else review that…it’s a lottery. Probably sums it up well. What we hadn’t realised was that all apar**ents are individually owned and all differ in standard, quality of furnishing etc. Some do look nice. We stayed in apar**ent 19 and it really was an awful apar**ent. A small and not very light apar**ent - the ceiling fans not working, the Aircon not working for 3 days (unless we tripped the fuse and then it worked for 30 mins before stopping again), only 1 power socket working in the kitchen, the blinds covering the patio door that was held Up with a hair clip, cheap kitchen utensils and cutlery, chipped walls and door frames, handles falling off the wardrobe doors. We paid more for this place than the other 3 places we stayed in Queensland on our holiday and it was by far the worst. Location is great though. Walking distance in to the village and to the beach. The pool is pretty nice - but could be cleaner. All in all I wouldn’t stay here again and I couldn’t recommend.

Lovely 2 bedroom apar**ent in gorgeous grounds with pool and spa. Loved updated bathroom with large walk-in shower and 2 door access. Beds very comfortable. High cupboards in kitchen difficult to access unless tall so a stool would be helpful.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The property was well located. It was an easy walk to the harbor and town. When needed, shuttles were accesible. We would stay there again.
