Hotel berhampiran Igreja Paroquial da Pedra Mourinha, Portimao

We flew over from the USA for the MotoGP race in Algarve and this the was the perfect Hotel. The Hotel is new renovated so everything is new and beautiful. The Hotel is in a great location, just a minutes walk to the Ocean front. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were both extremely friendly and helpful, providing absolutely terrific recommendations for places to eat dinner after coming back from the race track. When I say the staff was amazing and friendly, I mean ALL of the staff, the Manager, the House Keeping staff, the Chef's working the breakfast area where we fueled up on delicious coffee and food. Anything you needed they did they're best to accommodate us and 100% of our stay they succeeded. Special mention to management for going out of their way to extend our stay during such a busy event weekend. Special mention to the evening front desk gentlemen for all of the amazing restaurant recommendations. As for the rooms, everything is super new, great TV, great bathroom, great bed, and a very lovely balcony to watch the sun set.

I would love to give this place a poor review to put people off going so I could keep it for myself but that would be doing the staff a real disservice. I can't fault this place at all- the place was spotless inside and out and the rooms were well equipped with fridge ,safe and air conditioning and lovely hot showers. The breakfast had something for everyone and changed each day. The staff are the real star of the show though and nothing is too much trouble. We mentioned we were looking for worry beads and the next thing we knew one of the waitresses at breakfast went across the street and brought back a selection for us to choose from and purchase from the shop opposite. Special mention to Ioanna who was so friendly and up for a laugh she really made our holiday. Great Central location but quiet with a lovely small pool and pool area. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

Stayed here for 5 nights on a B&B basis. I was expecting a fair better experience than the one we received. Issue with our booking by a very rude lady at reception that was made a big deal of.. We didn't get our room untill well after 4. No pool towels offered and the WiFi was very poor. Bar closes as 10.30 and was refused a drink at 10.35. Breakfast was very basic with no pancakes or omelettes which other hotels have. We were greeted daily by staff with no smiles or a simple hello. Got a bus to the lovely beach and the driver had the same sterile face as the rest of the staff This place lacks both atmosphere and basic customer service

I would use one word to describe this hotel -Paradise. We came as guests and the staff treated us so well, we left as friends. We had our wedding at the Bricia Du Mar and it was prefect. The location for a wedding is what we dreamed of. The hotel is low rise and like a little village with beautiful rooms and a stunning pool area. There is a fantastic gym and spa also. What Raquel, Pedro and everyone else did to help us was above and beyond what you would expect from a hotel. They say they are not wedding planners but what they did to help us arrange our wedding was incredible. This a family run hotel and you can see the care and attention they have to make the hotel a success as it is quite new. Everything is spotlessly clean and such a calming wonderful environment. Our wedding went without a hitch and the attention to detail was incredible. All the staff at our wedding were genuinely happy to be there from the chefs to the bar staff and waiters who couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is again great, nice rooms, friendly helpful staff. Maintenance is still lacking a bit, although some progress was made. Due to lack of rain/water the golf course is dry and golf is played on the roots of the grass. Last year october it was green with large dry patches, this year it is just dry except for the greens. Looks like the effect of climate change is increasing and next year October we will not come again under these conditions.

Furthermore, the attentive and friendly staff added to the overall sense of relaxation. They were always on hand to offer assistance or provide recommendations, and their warm and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests. Beyond the hotel itself, the surrounding area offered plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and exploration. We took advantage of the hotel's proximity to nature, embarking on leisurely walks and hikes that allowed us to connect with the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of the work world and reconnect with nature.

This hotel is an amazing retreat! Surprisingly you can't hear the noise from the racing track just nearby. The staff is very nice and attentive. The location is great if you want to be in a quiet part of the Algarve (30 minutes from Portimão). The breakfast is great. It has variety and the products are fresh and high quality. The hotel has an amazing outdoor swimming pool, unfortunately the it was too windy and we were not able to enjoy it. The Jacuzzi and the indoor swimming pool are great too! The room is as in the pictures, it is big and the decoration is modern. Overall, we recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy a quiet retreat in the Algarve!

The resort provides a very beautiful complex just outside Portimao in Algarve district of Portugal. We were impressed by the facilities on site and the food provided. Their staffs , in particular Mr.Joao Figueira, were so friendly and helpful that we were able to move around all facilities with no difficulties.
