Tiny Digs - Hotel of Tiny Houses

Stayed in the BoHo. Well decorated. Be prepared because it is tiny. Bed was comfortable but not the easiest to climb in and out of. Owners were super nice and accommodating. We stayed in January so we did not utilize the adorable fire pit area. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Good neighborhood.

We stayed at the Tiny Digs Hotel last week and were surprised that it exceeded our expectations. The room/Tiny House was very clean, had all the amenities that we needed and the area that it is located in was exceptionally quiet. Parking was no problem but then we arrived in the early afternoon. Later in the evening there were less available spaces but fortunately we did not have to move our car since there was plenty of eating and shopping available within a couple of blocks. We found that the 28th Parallel food cart pod (just one block away) was especially good for eating particularly the Chopped Cheese PDX cart: Yum!!! The lodging was tiny, but then that is the name of the place. The Queen bed was extremely comfy, linens were plentiful and Coffee, tea, etc. were provided. The outside central area with games, hammocks, fire pits and seating were a bonus. The area was safe and quiet (unlike most places that we have stayed in Portland area). Tiny Digs Hotel of Tiny Houses was great. I love tiny house shows on TV and thought this would be fun. The facilities were well maintained and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The area was secure - there is a locked front gate surrounding a nice court yard that would have been perfect for drinks or a round of corn hole. The air conditioning was excellent and tackled the heat easily (close to 100 degree temperatures). Why is the experience only very good? We paid for the experience - the price was a bit high (similar to a high end hotel), so 2 scratchy towels for 2 people and a futon couch that wasn't too comfortable for sitting were distractions from an otherwise great visit. Would I recommend staying here? - absolutely, the little house experience was worth every penny. If you are fascinated by tiny houses and want to give it a try, Tiny Digs is perfect. Would I personally go back? Not sure. I wanted the experience, and I had the experience. I am not sure I need to do it again.

My son and I both LOVED staying at Tiny Digs for a long weekend visit to Portland. We're both huge Tiny House Nation fans, but had never stayed in an actual tiny house, so thought this trip would be the perfect opportunity to check it out. It was a BLAST!!! First, I cannot say enough good things about property host Kenny. His communications were clear, timely, professional and friendly. He made us feel right at home at Tiny Digs and was always available for any questions. THANK YOU KENNY!! We stayed in Tiny House "Arthur". It was impeccably clean and we had a very comfortable stay. The Tiny Digs property is super cool...I enjoyed laying on the hammock a few times and the twinkle lights around the property in the evening were charming. Also, the location is FANTASTIC - walking distance to great restaurants and cute local shops, plus, only a short ride into downtown. This is definitely where we will stay anytime we go to Portland.
