Hotel Quality Inn di Portland

도심에 있는 호스텔을 많이 이용해 본 경험이 있는데요, 특히 lolopass는 기존에 이용했던 호스텔 시설과는 확연히 다르게 시설이 깔끔하고 수면에 방해가 되지 않도록 설계되어 케비넷과 잠자는 공간이 분리되어 있습니다. 그리고 휴식을 취할 수 있는 1층의 로비도 멋지고 주방도 깔끔합니다. 공식 인스타에 소개된 사진과 동일 합니다.

Hotel was a smaller limited service boutique hotel. Locating was great for our needs (Trailblazers game) as we we're only a few minutes away from the Moda Center. The hotel is a minimalists dream. The room come across a a college dorm room, but is clean and uncluttered. It had a restaurant bar in the lobby with a Korean inspired menu. The bar draws locals from the area and had a really good vibe. Parking is $50 per night, but there options such as street parking with totals about $20 a day (Strange street parking rates...well strange to me at least 🤣) or parking garages near by for about half the cost of the hotel parking. The room rate was an awesome plus and the location made it a no brainer for us.

I would describe this as a hipster hotel with unique character to match the downtown area. My teenage kids did like the room and the adjacent coffee shop. However, I felt the room was a little small, especially the bathroom and the room could use some updating like more amenities like towel racks and storage for suitcases. Our room was not close to being recently remodeled so pictures can be a little deceiving. Bed was comfortable but I could hear people walking around above our room at night. I also struggled with parking found it very stressful trying to find parking, plan to spend around $40 a day on parking a day if you are driving around a lot. The overnight parking which is approx 10-15 minutes away walking distance is not on site and is only $20 a night, but it does not feel safe after 10pm to be walking around due to the homeless problem in the area. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel. I def don't feel like this was a 3 star hotel, I would give it a 2.5 out of 4 or 5 stars. The breakfast was a continental at best. Pastries with juice or coffee and fruit. Sometimes they provided yogurt or boxed oatmeal and oat milk but nothing special and get there before 9 am or there may run out of items. Portland has a lot of fun things to see but because of the homeless problem I would seek out recommendations for the best attractions and stir clear of the problem areas. Washington park and art museum were a lot of fun to visit. Multnomah Falls would be an all day trip and get there very early since parking is terrible or park off site and take tram in. I was also charged an additional fee of $25 a night which was not mentioned anywhere on the trip.com booking receipt.

The front entrance door is always locked. We weren't sure how to get in. Someone eventually walked by and let us in. The front desk staff wanted to see my driver's license and headed to the back room with it. I asked where she was going. She said we always make a copy. We had a skirmish about that. After some discussion she agreed not to but no idea what she entered into the computer from it. The last time I allowed a hotel to do that, my back account was hacked and my credit card number was stolen. Nice hotels don't do that. They ask to see your license, compare it to the credit card and hand it right back. The hotel is clean, breakfast is good and the staff is cooperative. But we do not recommend it due to this practice. You are not a Motel 6. You are a Best Western. Act like it.

Conveniently located at the heart of Portland. Charges $55 for parking even with hotel reservations. Wi-Fi cost money if you don’t sign up for Hilton honors program, not a problem since phone connection is good in downtown. Bathroom still had stains from prior guests….would not recommend to anyone.
