Hotel 3 Bintang di Porto de Galinhas

Our stay in Armaçao was beautiful. We enjoyed it very much. I went with my two kids aged 9 and 14 and we all had a wonderful time. The good: -excellent musical entertainment at night. Every day a different band and they were all amazing -the staff is incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the people are, everyone from the front desk to the staff at the restaurants, bar, and room service. -the hotel is very well located, we took an uber to the center of town almost every day which cost about $2 USD one way. Very easy. It is also situated right in the middle of all the beaches so you can visit the beaches to the north which are 10 minutes away by uber or the ones further south another 10 minutes away. Very comfortable. The beach the hotel is situated at is a bit more rough with larger waves, but warm water and we went in the ocean several times right in front of the hotel. -you can walk to town from the hotel on the beach, it's about 2km away. -this is not a luxury resort, but everything is clean and the amenities are all you need. The beds are super comfortable and the room is spacious. -there are no places to refill water bottles so you have to buy bottled water from town or from the mini fridge in the room. It is not expensive, but also not very eco friendly. -the food, drinks and massages etc in the hotel are affordable so you pamper yourself away -there is a small store inside the hotel that has everything you could possibly need from repellant to swimsuits and prices are consistent with what you find in the center of town, not overpriced like some hotels. -there are 2 travel agencies that have a small office inside the hotel and you can hire tours from them without leaving the hotel. The prices are not too different from the agencies that offer the same day trips in the center of town, so it's worth it to hire them at the hotel if you want comfort and ease The not so good: Some things that I think could be improved... -The pool by the beach does not have umbrellas by the pool lounge chairs. I wish they had because the sun is very strong and if you want to lounge by the pool while drinking a caipirinha and watching your kids swim, you have to be under the sun. You do not have the option of being in the shade. In order to be in the shade you have to move to the lounge chairs on the beach or by the bar, which are not directly in front of the pool. -Our room did not have a glass window so if we wanted sunlight, the only possibility was to open the door or open the wooden shades, but if we wanted to have privacy and sunlight it was not possible because we did not have a glass window. We also didn't have a window mosquito net, so when we opened the wooden shades to get air or sunlight into the room, all the mosquitoes came in and for the first 4 nights we had a hard time because got bit, a lot. We stayed there for 6 nights and wish we had longer! 100% recommend it - 100% indicado para casais! The B&B is so accommodating and went above and beyond to help us - including delayed suitcase by our airline, organising a great buggy trip, plus a lovely surprise for our honeymoon. The beach in front is a bit rough and choppy but it is lovely to dip your toes - just be mindful of currents. The food was excellent! We ate starters, main meals and had multiple cocktails and everything was always impeccably cooked and tasty. Oh and the 4pm coffee and cake is worth it! The rooms are good size, clean and simple - bed is super comfortable and so are the pillows. The only thing I mentioned it to reception as a comment, would be nice to have some complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Beach towels are also provided free of charge. Após ler alguns comentários de que a pousada não era muito boa, infelizmente confirmei que é pior do que imaginei. Se tiverem a oportunidade de ficar em outra pousada, não pense duas vezes. Infelizmente praticamente toda a estrutura deixa muito a desejar: pousada velha, com péssimos acabamentos, quarto é espaçoso, porém, muito mal cuidado, sujo, roupa de cama e toalhas machadas, ar condicionado horrível, extremamente barulhento, o banheiro é o pior, pelo menos o do quarto que fiquei hospedada era minúsculo, sem janela, vaso sanitário totalmente sujo e manchado, tinha odor de banheiro químico pós carnaval (e isso foi quando eu cheguei para o(a) proprietário(a) não dizer que foi usado por nós. Wi-Fi é PÉSSIMO! Café da manhã deixa muito a desejar, pouquíssimas opções e se o bolo acabar, já era, você não come mais pois eles não repõe, cachorro quente deles é na verdade água com salchicha. Infelizmente tentei outras pousadas antes, mas estavam todas ocupadas. A única coisa boa é a localidade, mas o restante é a menor nota possível. Uma dica para quem estiver vindo para Porto de Galinhas, tem uma pousada, algumas ruas depois dessa, chama Pousada Sal e Mar, ela é simples também, mas mil vezes melhor do que essa, fica a dica para quem estiver buscando uma em Maracaipe. Ah, e antes que a pessoa que responde esses comentários fale algo relacionado a luxo e conforto, já adianto a resposta, é a terceira vez que venho a Porto de Galinhas e essa foi uma das que paguei o maior valor e foi a PIOR experiência de hospedagem. Tentem ler a avaliação como sugestão de melhorias e não simplesmente como críticas para desvalorizar o trabalho de vocês. Vocês tem uma pousada em uma localidade excelente e tem tudo para melhorar, mas por enquanto é bem ruim.

A decoração da pousada é temática e muito pitoresca. Minha sogra, que é belga e veio passar julho conosco, ficou encantada com a pousada e Porto de Galinhas!!! Todos os funcionários são muito simpáticos, alegres e sempre dispostos!! A funcionária da tapioca já sabia que meu filho comia 3 tapiocas todo café da manhã. O dono da pousada também é muito simpático e está sempre à disposição. Recomendo!!

Infraestrutura ótima, com locais sempre limpos e organizados. Muitas possibilidades de lazer e áreas de descanso! Para quem tem filhos, melhor ainda, possuí uma excelente estrutura e atividades para os pequenos. No meu caso, minha filha não utilizou a monitoria por ser bem pequena, então não posso comentar sobre. A comida e atendimento é razoável, nada excepcional, mas fomos muito bem tratados e o custo/benefício é preciso ser levado em consideração e por esse motivo recomendo o local.

I must say, the hotel is nice the people are great. The only issue I would say that this resort needs to improve on is, 1. the Flies on the food and 2 the resturante needs to be a Airconditioned facility. It was gross going to eat at the resturante and flies where all over the food and fruits that were laid out buffet style. The heat is also so terrible to try and enjoy a meal when humidity is 90% and no AC. I said in room 217, the AC in the rooms are terrible work very poorly. I was told that the pools were open 24hrs, but when we arrived we was advised closes at 6pm. The place is well located and has a lot of amentities, they just need to fix these issues, especially if they want to see the American Tourist at this location. I advised them that no Americans will come and eat with food out like that and flies on the food. I also advised they need to install Air conditioning. over all I give it 3 out of 5 I must also advise they dont have any staff members that speaks English.
