My wife and I recently stayed at the Covo dei Saraceni hotel in Positano, we had used the Hotel / Concierge to have items secured and shipped which we purchased while supporting and visiting a family run Limoncello and Olive Oil farm in Sorrento, we also purchased some additional bottles of Limoncello & Melloncello at another stop in Sorento's City Center again to support the local economy. We didn't want to take the items and extra weight on the balance of our trip so, we asked if the hotel had services where they could have our items shipped to the US which they did. We filed out the appropriate paperwork provided our Credit Card information to pay for the shipment and went about our trip. When we arrived home, I inquired with both the Hotel & Mail Boxes Etc. in Positano on tracking information and status of our shipment, I had to follow up a second time only to get a response 2 days later stating your package's will arrive today, Great Right!. No so fast, sure enough package has arrived and now the issue comes into play, half of our items which ironically were the Limoncello, Melloncello, and Olive Oil were all missing. I immediately went to the FedEx tracking information to check the information and sure enough the weight of the package matched what was shipped however, clearly the missing items which would've been more than 13.7 lbs / 6.21 kgs alone, the information also showed only 1 package associated with the FedEx tracking number, I placed the box on the scale with the clothing items and leather pocketbooks which matched the FedEx information which further proves my argument of the items not shipping. I have repeatedly tried to get this resolved between the Hotel & Mail Boxes Etc. only to be provided false information and told by the Hotel there's nothing they can do "your 2 boxes" delivered and to take it up with FedEx. Again the photo FedEx took and tracking info have 1 box associated with that delivery, although there's a much smaller package in the photo from FedEx it has nothing to do with the shipment from Positano and no other information has been provided. The right thing for the hotel to do would be to replace the items and have them shipped to me.
