Selected this hotel in the centre for 160 euros for a 3 night stay via booking.com which seemed like a bargain for a twin room in September. Easy to locate from the airport - 20 minutes in a cheap and reliable Bolt or Uber taxi from the airport or train station. Reception area gave the feeling of a modern, brand new and clean hotel with English speaking staff (who also appreciate a little Polish greeting now and again!) Lifts in great working order and plenty of room for pushchairs, wheelchairs & suitcases. Located right in the market Square 5-10 mins from the old town square. Cafes, shops and restaurants very close - lovely Greek restaurant a few doors away and a selection of cabin/pop up bars in the square opposite. Beware of extensive building and roadworks taking place in Poznan right now which is causing major disruption to tram and bus services in the city centre. There wasn't a lot of noise, but access is rather sketchy - particularly in the old town where at the moment there is no paving, the walkways are uneven, muddy & narrow and you are unable to access the central town hall or churches. There are narrow plinths to access shops and restaurants over deep trenches in the old town square which doesn't make it very inclusive to disabled visitors or those who have specific mobility needs. Worth mentioning as it's incredibly disappointing if like me, you enjoy the full experience but need proper access to a lot of the attractions. Roadworks appear to be ongoing for quite some time - do check before booking a trip to Poznan. That said, it's still a lovely city and worth a visit if you don't mind the roadworks and access issues so much. Rooms in the hotel are small and basic but have everything you need for a comfortable stay - temperature control, windows that open, private bathroom with a good shower and body wash included, very comfortable beds, tea & coffee making facilities space to hang clothing for a few days. I have just returned from a 3 night stay and was very happy with my experience. From the plane landing, to being in my room was less than 30 minutes. Check in was quick and all the staff were very polite and friendly. I was on the 11th floor, so it took a while to get up there, as the lift was very slow but the room was good. Being on 11th floor, the views over the city, to the south, were great, and the room itself was clean and tidy, with a big bathroom which, again, was very clean. There was a TV, a locker for hanging clothes, along with a desk and chair and 2 bottles on water. The bed was very comfortable but they do not clean your room, every day, unless you request it but that was not a problem. The only reason I cannot give a 5 star review was because the young lady who served in the lobby bar was so bad tempered and miserable. Both times I was in there, she never smiled once and she really looked as if she hated her job. She was not actually rude to me but a smile would have been nice, as well as saying hello and thank you, which she did not. The hotel is situated just under a 15 minute walk from the old town and the area is very safe, with cafes, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Just love the Moxy chain of hotels - this one included. Stopped here as right next to Poznan airport and I'm a sucker for convenience. A one minute (not even) walk from the airport terminal although obviously quite some way out of town but Uber will take you there for little money. Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation in the typical Moxy slightly mad cap way - love it.

Gorąco polecam organizowanie imprezy w tym hotelu. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Pani manager przygotowała przyjęcie zgodnie z wszystkimi wytycznymi ( w innych hotelach na siłę próbowano przeforsować swoje wizje, nie słuchając czego od nich oczekuję). Menu dopasowane do moich potrzeb. Pyszne jedzenie,sympatyczny szef kuchni. Obsługa w trakcie przyjęcia na najwyższym poziomie. Cała załoga uśmiechnięta i bardzo starająca się aby spotkanie było udane. Bardzo dziękuję za przesympatyczny i smaczny wieczór.

Location is about 15mins easy walk from Poznan Glowny. The hotel is close to a major shopping centre (and thus eateries), the Stary Browar. Reception was welcoming, helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable about their city. Clean room and toilet, well planned to make maximum use of space. The window opened to let in fresh air and sunlight. The kitchen area was wonderful - very clean and white, with green potted plants (albeit plastic) all around. It had a toaster and microwave.The adjoining terrace area provided fresh air and sunlight. On entry, I noted a slight musty (?) smell but it soon disappeared. I rated the hotel value-for-money, 10/10

This hotel is perfectly located across from Stary Browar. The hotel is clean. Unfortunately it is also next to the city train tracks. I didn't even realize why ear plugs were there. But the train ran until around midnight and started up again round 4 or 5 in the morning. I was so miserable the next morning because I didn't get any sleep. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable as well. My back was in so much pain. I was supposed to stay for the weekend, but I checked out as soon as I could find another hotel. I was really looking forward to my stay. But due to the uncomfortable mattresses, the thin walls and the loud train and cars passing by honking all night, it's a no for me.

Hotel robi wrażenie czegoś co kiedyś było ekskluzywne, a teraz jest poprostu ok na jedna noc. Widać bieg czasu, plus to basen, sauny poprostu są, śniadanie dobre jest wybór, za szlafrok dodatkowa opłata 20zl przy tej cenie za pokój słabo ale najgorsze bandyctwo to 95 zł za parking za dobę! 6 stów za pokój plus parking daje 700 złotych za dobę! W tym hotelu za tą cenę absolutnie NIE! Napewno podczas kolejnej wizyty w Poznaniu pomine ten obiekt, naprawdę można za tą cenę znaleźć dużo lepszy hotel.

I checked into the Hotel Focus in April 2020 at the start of the coronovirus emergency, and ended up staying there for nine months! It was absolutely great. The staff are truly fantastic (helpful, friendly and caring). The rooms are delightfully designed and well appointed, and this modern medium-size hotel is perfectly located. The tram line is at your doorstep, Posnania Shopping Mall is a 10-minute walk, and so is the Polytechnic. The city centre is 7 minutes by tram. The room I lived in was so beautiful that it looked out on a nice woodland park, so I slept to the sounds of nightingales singing in spring and early summer! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the homemade cheese and the bread selection (baked daily on site). I have stayed in so many hotels all around the world, but none as clean as the Hotel Focus. The housekeeping staff are incredible. They keep the place literally spotless. This hotel really sets the standards in many ways. In a nutshell, this hotel (without any exaggeration) deserves seven or eight stars easily. You will have a very pleasant stay there. Thank you Marek (the manager), the reception staff, and everyone at the Hotel Focus. You really made my stay very enjoyable. I can't wait to stay with you again.

A very warm welcome from the staff and a restaurant with some excellent food and wine. I stay here for business often and it is very good value. The hotel is clean and comfortable although some of the rooms are a little old fashioned. The hotel is also in a great location with plenty to do outside and on the lake.

Stayed twice, for one night each time, over Easter 2023. Really enjoyable stays. This is an exceptionally well presented hotel and encourage everyone not to be put off by the Hampton brand - this place is better than most UK Doubletrees if you simply need somewhere to get your head down. The hotel is very modern with amazing rooms, a bar which sells drinks and snacks at reception (500ml Pilsner - 14zl) and a decent breakfast buffet. Very polite and efficient receptions staff. Excellent value parking, Definitely an option for tourists flying in or out of the airport. Simple to find if you are driving. Good access into the old town (taxi or train). I will definitely stay again.
