Stayed here for 4 nights end of August 2023. Check in was simple and informative. Arrived later than expected due to Air Traffic Control problem in UK. Hotel arranged taxi for us which was very efficient. Good size room with safe, small fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Plenty toiletries. Also complimentary bottle of wine which was red from hotel but could not be changed for white unfortunately. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice from fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheese, pastries and cooked breakfast. Staff very pleasant. 10/15 minutes walk to Old Town.

It’s a worst 4 star establishment I stayed in! No kettle no milk no shampoo neither any conditioner! Rude staff ( miss Monika ) disgusting mannerisms. I arrived to the hotel only for two nights ( I knew from the start I wasn’t going to be amazed as the hotel didn’t look 4 star at all). Got in to the room ( furniture not put back in properly the bedside table wasn’t parallel to the wall ) you only get one bedside table also ( joke) only one room key provided even tho I need one for electricity ( that means if you’re out you can’t charge your devices ).got two single duvets only (no double available) imagine if you’re going for a romantic getaway with your other half but can’t share the bed due to the duvet arrangement! Wi-Fi doesn’t work on the fifth floor. I couldn’t sleep due to lack of the appropriate size duvet to cover myself and sleep comfortably and what is the worst hotel staff was not willing to do anything to improve it !

Great Location and looks nice just 100 m from the only Tram 13 which goes two stops into the Bombed Out City centre. Renovations will take years and no tram routes through it but walking from nearest stops to the Once beautifull Town square is not difficult. Easy way to get from hotel to main station is 13 tram east two stops to very handy area of Kornicha and the either trams 2 5 and 18 which stop at the very big train station. Twin bedded very quiet room meant you had to be a contorsionist to use wardrobe? Hope you are younger than us or can move uncomfortable bed. Air con excellent and quiet on low floor. Nice shower no kettle or safe .THE Worste flat mattress for Accor group?. Beds made once in 4 nights ? and very very slow service in quiet restraunt. Food was tasty. but 50 minutes for spaghetti ? We noted Others serviced a bit quicker. When we return to lovely Poznan in future it wont be to this hotel. sorry. A few supermarkets are just 5 minutes walk. Sorry.

I checked into the Hotel Focus in April 2020 at the start of the coronovirus emergency, and ended up staying there for nine months! It was absolutely great. The staff are truly fantastic (helpful, friendly and caring). The rooms are delightfully designed and well appointed, and this modern medium-size hotel is perfectly located. The tram line is at your doorstep, Posnania Shopping Mall is a 10-minute walk, and so is the Polytechnic. The city centre is 7 minutes by tram. The room I lived in was so beautiful that it looked out on a nice woodland park, so I slept to the sounds of nightingales singing in spring and early summer! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the homemade cheese and the bread selection (baked daily on site). I have stayed in so many hotels all around the world, but none as clean as the Hotel Focus. The housekeeping staff are incredible. They keep the place literally spotless. This hotel really sets the standards in many ways. In a nutshell, this hotel (without any exaggeration) deserves seven or eight stars easily. You will have a very pleasant stay there. Thank you Marek (the manager), the reception staff, and everyone at the Hotel Focus. You really made my stay very enjoyable. I can't wait to stay with you again.

Gorąco polecam organizowanie imprezy w tym hotelu. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Pani manager przygotowała przyjęcie zgodnie z wszystkimi wytycznymi ( w innych hotelach na siłę próbowano przeforsować swoje wizje, nie słuchając czego od nich oczekuję). Menu dopasowane do moich potrzeb. Pyszne jedzenie,sympatyczny szef kuchni. Obsługa w trakcie przyjęcia na najwyższym poziomie. Cała załoga uśmiechnięta i bardzo starająca się aby spotkanie było udane. Bardzo dziękuję za przesympatyczny i smaczny wieczór.

Everything was perfect. Smooth check-in, room change and the whole stay. My go to in PZN.

Location is about 15mins easy walk from Poznan Glowny. The hotel is close to a major shopping centre (and thus eateries), the Stary Browar. Reception was welcoming, helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable about their city. Clean room and toilet, well planned to make maximum use of space. The window opened to let in fresh air and sunlight. The kitchen area was wonderful - very clean and white, with green potted plants (albeit plastic) all around. It had a toaster and microwave.The adjoining terrace area provided fresh air and sunlight. On entry, I noted a slight musty (?) smell but it soon disappeared. I rated the hotel value-for-money, 10/10

Hotel położony w samym centrum miasta. Pokój na 16pietrze z pięknym widokiem na Poznań. Jedno z miejsc na mapie Polski do którego chce się wracać! Udało nam się skorzystać z winestone - domowe lemoniady były orzeźwiające, a jedzenie przepyszne. Dziekujemy za miłe powitanie w hotelu i wysoki poziom obsługi do samego końca pobytu :) Pozdrowienia dla całego zespołu :)

The hotel is located in a quiet area but at the same time very close to public transport. Nica, clean, rooms, spacious too. A lot of variety for breakfast. The food in the restaurant was also fresh and delicious. Great value for money, we do recommend it!

Selected this hotel in the centre for 160 euros for a 3 night stay via booking.com which seemed like a bargain for a twin room in September. Easy to locate from the airport - 20 minutes in a cheap and reliable Bolt or Uber taxi from the airport or train station. Reception area gave the feeling of a modern, brand new and clean hotel with English speaking staff (who also appreciate a little Polish greeting now and again!) Lifts in great working order and plenty of room for pushchairs, wheelchairs & suitcases. Located right in the market Square 5-10 mins from the old town square. Cafes, shops and restaurants very close - lovely Greek restaurant a few doors away and a selection of cabin/pop up bars in the square opposite. Beware of extensive building and roadworks taking place in Poznan right now which is causing major disruption to tram and bus services in the city centre. There wasn't a lot of noise, but access is rather sketchy - particularly in the old town where at the moment there is no paving, the walkways are uneven, muddy & narrow and you are unable to access the central town hall or churches. There are narrow plinths to access shops and restaurants over deep trenches in the old town square which doesn't make it very inclusive to disabled visitors or those who have specific mobility needs. Worth mentioning as it's incredibly disappointing if like me, you enjoy the full experience but need proper access to a lot of the attractions. Roadworks appear to be ongoing for quite some time - do check before booking a trip to Poznan. That said, it's still a lovely city and worth a visit if you don't mind the roadworks and access issues so much. Rooms in the hotel are small and basic but have everything you need for a comfortable stay - temperature control, windows that open, private bathroom with a good shower and body wash included, very comfortable beds, tea & coffee making facilities space to hang clothing for a few days.
