Hotel berhampiran ZOO TEAM, Poznan

It’s a worst 4 star establishment I stayed in! No kettle no milk no shampoo neither any conditioner! Rude staff ( miss Monika ) disgusting mannerisms. I arrived to the hotel only for two nights ( I knew from the start I wasn’t going to be amazed as the hotel didn’t look 4 star at all). Got in to the room ( furniture not put back in properly the bedside table wasn’t parallel to the wall ) you only get one bedside table also ( joke) only one room key provided even tho I need one for electricity ( that means if you’re out you can’t charge your devices ).got two single duvets only (no double available) imagine if you’re going for a romantic getaway with your other half but can’t share the bed due to the duvet arrangement! Wi-Fi doesn’t work on the fifth floor. I couldn’t sleep due to lack of the appropriate size duvet to cover myself and sleep comfortably and what is the worst hotel staff was not willing to do anything to improve it !

Stayed here for 4 nights end of August 2023. Check in was simple and informative. Arrived later than expected due to Air Traffic Control problem in UK. Hotel arranged taxi for us which was very efficient. Good size room with safe, small fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Plenty toiletries. Also complimentary bottle of wine which was red from hotel but could not be changed for white unfortunately. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice from fruit juice, fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheese, pastries and cooked breakfast. Staff very pleasant. 10/15 minutes walk to Old Town.

Gorąco polecam organizowanie imprezy w tym hotelu. Wszystko na najwyższym poziomie. Pani manager przygotowała przyjęcie zgodnie z wszystkimi wytycznymi ( w innych hotelach na siłę próbowano przeforsować swoje wizje, nie słuchając czego od nich oczekuję). Menu dopasowane do moich potrzeb. Pyszne jedzenie,sympatyczny szef kuchni. Obsługa w trakcie przyjęcia na najwyższym poziomie. Cała załoga uśmiechnięta i bardzo starająca się aby spotkanie było udane. Bardzo dziękuję za przesympatyczny i smaczny wieczór.

Mi sono fermato qui diverse volte in questi anni, l'hotel è facilmente accessibile con un parcheggio lineare difronte all'entrata , un ristorante sopra la media dei ristoranti di cui sono dotati gli Hotel di questa categoria, la colazione offre prodotti di buona qualità, il petsonale è preparato e normalmente gentile. Da non dimenticare il servizio Sauna che puoi riservare per 1 ora gratuitamente. L'Hotel è in una zona periferica ma per chi viaggia in auto e cerca soprattutto servizio e tranquillità questa è una buona soluzione. Tonino

Selected this hotel in the centre for 160 euros for a 3 night stay via booking.com which seemed like a bargain for a twin room in September. Easy to locate from the airport - 20 minutes in a cheap and reliable Bolt or Uber taxi from the airport or train station. Reception area gave the feeling of a modern, brand new and clean hotel with English speaking staff (who also appreciate a little Polish greeting now and again!) Lifts in great working order and plenty of room for pushchairs, wheelchairs & suitcases. Located right in the market Square 5-10 mins from the old town square. Cafes, shops and restaurants very close - lovely Greek restaurant a few doors away and a selection of cabin/pop up bars in the square opposite. Beware of extensive building and roadworks taking place in Poznan right now which is causing major disruption to tram and bus services in the city centre. There wasn't a lot of noise, but access is rather sketchy - particularly in the old town where at the moment there is no paving, the walkways are uneven, muddy & narrow and you are unable to access the central town hall or churches. There are narrow plinths to access shops and restaurants over deep trenches in the old town square which doesn't make it very inclusive to disabled visitors or those who have specific mobility needs. Worth mentioning as it's incredibly disappointing if like me, you enjoy the full experience but need proper access to a lot of the attractions. Roadworks appear to be ongoing for quite some time - do check before booking a trip to Poznan. That said, it's still a lovely city and worth a visit if you don't mind the roadworks and access issues so much. Rooms in the hotel are small and basic but have everything you need for a comfortable stay - temperature control, windows that open, private bathroom with a good shower and body wash included, very comfortable beds, tea & coffee making facilities space to hang clothing for a few days. Spent three nights recently and the hotel staff were very professional. Rooms were clean however our bathroom had only one towel on arrival. This was quickly sorted and towels were sent to the room when we requested them. The spa and pool are clean and very nice. Breakfast had lots of options and staff again were very profesisonal. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the hotel is ideally located near the Medical University. The walk into town is about 20 minutes. One suggestion would be to have a SMART TV in the room. With small children who do not speak Polish the tv channels are limited. Will definitely stay here again.

I checked into the Hotel Focus in April 2020 at the start of the coronovirus emergency, and ended up staying there for nine months! It was absolutely great. The staff are truly fantastic (helpful, friendly and caring). The rooms are delightfully designed and well appointed, and this modern medium-size hotel is perfectly located. The tram line is at your doorstep, Posnania Shopping Mall is a 10-minute walk, and so is the Polytechnic. The city centre is 7 minutes by tram. The room I lived in was so beautiful that it looked out on a nice woodland park, so I slept to the sounds of nightingales singing in spring and early summer! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially liked the homemade cheese and the bread selection (baked daily on site). I have stayed in so many hotels all around the world, but none as clean as the Hotel Focus. The housekeeping staff are incredible. They keep the place literally spotless. This hotel really sets the standards in many ways. In a nutshell, this hotel (without any exaggeration) deserves seven or eight stars easily. You will have a very pleasant stay there. Thank you Marek (the manager), the reception staff, and everyone at the Hotel Focus. You really made my stay very enjoyable. I can't wait to stay with you again.

A very warm welcome from the staff and a restaurant with some excellent food and wine. I stay here for business often and it is very good value. The hotel is clean and comfortable although some of the rooms are a little old fashioned. The hotel is also in a great location with plenty to do outside and on the lake.

Just love the Moxy chain of hotels - this one included. Stopped here as right next to Poznan airport and I'm a sucker for convenience. A one minute (not even) walk from the airport terminal although obviously quite some way out of town but Uber will take you there for little money. Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation in the typical Moxy slightly mad cap way - love it.
