The hotel needs updating. Price- value not worth it.

The staff was amazing and sincerely nice. The property is noticeably old in construction. A portion of the flooring is slippery when wet because it is tile flooring. Other areas have a more of a stone/clay like non-slip flooring.
I was a solo traveler and it is about a 15min. walk up to the local town with more affordable shopping and better restaurants than the ones provided by this resort. In addition, it's great being immersed within the vibe of the local community.
It was a big disappointment when I was told I had to wear a shirt with sleeves to dinner at the resort, as I had no idea there was a "dress code" and considering how much money you will pay per night to stay here, I should be able to eat at a beach resort, with a tank top on. Needless to stay during my 3-nights here, I only ate dinner once on site and it really wasn't excellent and it doesn't start until 7pm.
There are security cameras everywhere, which was a bit creepy. In addition, they have security guards in the beach area too.
I can't recommend this resort to any solo travelers. You will have a more enjoyable, affordable and comfortable stay at a pousada in the village. If you have a family and kids, which is what I saw more of and older couples (60yrs. ) then you'll probably enjoy this place.

One of the best beach resorts of Brazil. Very nice location, excellent food and good hotel structure. Staff is very friendly. Excellent choice.

The resort is nice, great swimming pools and nice staff.
It was winter time, the hotel was empty (around 30% of occupation). It was strongly raining on our last day. With a night flight, the reception had a completely lack of customer orientation. We stayed more than 4 hours on the wet and cold reception, without any drink offering. It was really disappointing for such a hotel.

O local é lindo. Praia espetacular. Serviço bom, adorar que os garçons não são 100% atentos como poderiam ser. Já deve ter sido o melhor do Brasil. Mas dá para perceber alguns detalhes que o tiram desta condição. Por exemplo. Áreas comuns não tem ar condicionado!!! Nem ventilador no restaurante!!! Não tem no restaurante. Imagino que no inverno deve ser fresquinho e que se garantem na brisa do mar para arejar. Mas no verão, não dá. A menina do ovo coitada, não para de suar. A academia de ginástica tem aparelhos muito velhos e também não tem ar condicionado! Hotel 5 estreias.... Bem, sentimos que os investimentos pararam. Com isso resolvido, voltaria várias vezes, pois o local tem tudo para ser paraíso na terra. Só que não é.
