Went on holiday with my aunt and oncle and loved staying at Chez Bea. The people are super friendly (especially Maren) and make sure you have everything you need. They offer a generous breakfast for €15 per person (fruits, bread, jam, butter, meat, egg, tee, coffee, juice...) and will even let you use their washing machine for free. The appartment we had was very big and clean with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. They also have a pool but we didn't use it :-). Thanks again for everything. You'll feel like home in a very short time. Ujjwal, Munna, and the whole team turned my stay into 12 blissful days. My terrace was merely 15 metres from the rolling waves, and the restaurant was even closer. I booked half board. The breakfast had all you could imagine. Fresh fruit, and fresh fruit juice, eggs in all varieties, pancakes (I still dream of!), toast, marmalade, all served in an open-air part of the restaurant, where I could watch the tide come in. Dinner was even better! I could chose from every meal on the menu. I worked my way through the menu (starters and main dish), and in 12 evenings I had 10 different dishes (Indian, and Creole) on my table. On the first couple of evenings, I had bananas cooked in syrup, and later I switched to different kinds of ice cream. Not to forget the Cocktails, and Mocktails, of course! The list is short, but very quickly I found my favourite there. Although I like alcohol a lot, my favourite was a mocktail with no alcohol, the ”Le Relax Garden”. Don't miss this one! The room had all I needed (and even more). A large bed where I slept very good, and very long. A bathroom perfectly eqipped for all needs. A verandah with a nice view. A large garden with a lot of trees, flowers, and not to forget the birds! As I am a keen bird watcher, I found Seychelles Sunbird, Madagascar Fody, Indian Mynah, Seychelles Bulbul, Seychelles Fruit Pigeon, Seychelles Barred Ground Dove, and on one day even a family of five (!) Seychelles Black Parrots. And the garden had flying mammals as well: every evening I could see endemic Fruit Bats flying around a large Indian Almond Tree, trying to get ripe fruit.

We stayed as a group again. The views from the room terraces against the garden and the pool are so nice and the green hills in the background... It is so relaxing to be there. The staff is amazing and helpfull - Lucille, Janni, Joshua and Mr. Bilal checked daily if all guests were having a perfect stay. The only negative thing was, that we could not stay longer. Looking forward to our next stay in April and October 2025!

I guess it’s good enough for the price. Praslin Island isn’t cheap and it was better than expected. The rooms were clean, AC was cold at night, but not during the day, and shower was nice and warm. The bed wasn’t very comfortable as it was too soft and the pillows were lumpy. There was also no blanket but just a flat sheet. The staff was accommodating, but dinner service was extremely slow and food was not good. I’m glad it was a complimentary dinner for paying the stay in cash. Otherwise, I would’ve felt bad. They offered my child pizza, but didn’t include it in the complimentary dinner. It was 12 Euros for a pizza that was the worst tasting pizza we had all trip, including Ethiopia. They also charged us for water when they can give free water. I hate that they offered a kids menu when they were going to charge! She could’ve shared our food. It was terrible pizza. Breakfast was also not good. They can’t seem to cook eggs properly. I found it strange that they only gave 3 small bottles of water on day 1 and it was never replenished despite a 4 day stay. I also don’t understand why they couldn’t split the complimentary dinner for 2 into 2 nights, 1 night each since I’m on intermittent fasting. It also annoyed me that our food came much later when we were ahead of the others in the restaurant. It just felt unfair. And they’re not on time. We had to catch an 8am ferry and wanted to check-out the night before but they assured us that the reception opens 7am, but at 7:03am, they were still closed! Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and maybe there are much better places in Praslin.

The Sea View Lodge is a marvel. Our fully equipped self-catered apartment was nested in a tropical botanical garden rich in flowers, humming birds, geckos, bulbuls birds, warblers, myna birds, and big Seychelles tortoises. The lodge is safe. It also has a swimming pool, little bar and restaurant. All with a stunning view the bay. Sometimes, we sat by the sea on their beach chairs for sunset. We went snorkelling around the corner on the right of the bay. They was some nice coral and a wide variety of fish. We also went for walks up the hill or sometimes along the little road. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The beds are comfy and the white sheets nice and clean. We cooked in the kitchen as if we were at home and used washing machine. The owner, Barry, is a personality. He cares lovingly of his little paradise. We were very happy and felt at home away from our home. Some guests came to stay for weeks and months. Possession beach is a small quiet fisherman’s beach. No crowds, beach boys, shops and noisy tourist restaurants here. That’s why we staid there. A little road runs along the beach. The inexpensive public bus can take you to Anse Lazio beach or to Côte d’Or beach, the two main white sand swimmable beaches on this side of the island. The same bus can take you to the national park or the other side of the island. For more freedom and to visit the island, we rented a small car directly from the hotel. All reliable, friendly and simple. We went shopping in the local little grocery shop called Heyday about 2 km away. They had all we needed. For us, this place is a discovery, a new home, and we feel blessed for the time spent there.
