The owner is one of the nicest guys I have ever met during hotel travels. I got mixed up (completely my fault) leaving the bus station and, being lost, stopped at a business and had them call the hotel for me. Without hesitation the owner offered to send a taxi to pick me up (I had not arranged one, planning to walk the 20 minutes) at his expense! Upon my arrival, he gave me even more good news that I had been upgraded to their nicest room, Room 1, a Superior Suite (photo of that room is displaying for me on this site as I type this). The spacious room included a fireplace, a couch, a complimentary bottle of wine, a complimentary bottle of water, free made to order breakfast in the morning, and a TV with over 435 satellite channels to view (average hotel TV has maybe 40 to 50, I have found, tops). His sister-in-law prepared the breakfast for me at the designated time (you select a time slot, very efficient) with delicious bread she had baked herself and a variety of cheeses, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, veggies, jams, etc. I have a large appetite and had worried if this would fill me since it isn't a buffet, but after sampling the two large platters of food she had selected, I couldn't eat another bite. The second morning she even offered to make an omelet on top of all the other food I already had (I admit I found room for it, heh). She offered a variety of teas or coffee and I selected the former. She brought three berry types for me to choose from and I was delighted to see a unique combination for me anyway, that I had never encountered before--Cranberry/Raspberry. It was delicious. The next morning, after housekeeping cleaned my room, I discovered two packets of that very flavor had coincidentally been left for me (in addition to what I had for the breakfasts). This is a small family run hotel but they excel at little details like that and making their guests happy. I strongly endorse this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
