Narcissos Waterpark Resort

We arrived at the hotel around midnight, to be greeted by a minimal English speaking night receptionist, by saying “hello, passports please”. Initially I was taken aback thinking we’ve just arrived and that’s the first thing but ok. He walked off with them into the back office with not so much as an explanation as to what he was doing etc. He came back with 3, stale ham and cheese sandwiches, a key card and our passports. Considering my wife is vegetarian and my daughter isn’t a cheese lover, that’s without mentioning how hard the bread was, it was a very poor greeting. We trotted off to our room, ready to get our heads down after a day of travelling. The room was absolutely foul!, we walked in and as always have a quick familiarity look about around the room. We had supposedly been placed into a room, which is the better and larger of the rooms they offer. The layout was a small kitchen area, table and tv, this was also home to a single bed which my daughter was expected to sleep in. The kitchen units were broken, with shelves and doors hanging off, edging trim ripped off and screws protruding from where doors etc should be. Inside cupboards where it looked like a fitter had chewed the cupboards when fitting them, had all been filled with expanding foam. Our room consisted of 2 single beds a wardrobe with 1 hangar in, a bedside table and a safe which had been closed and prelocked, rendering it useless. Both rooms were not the cleanest, with dust and old guests makeup containers and underwear near the beds. I’m not sure what the cleaners had cleaned, but it certainly wasn’t this room. The bathroom had solid, thick mould around the edges where sealant was supposed to be and the shower fitting was rusty. I’m sure that had we of showered in it, we would have been cleaner before we went in it. The following morning we got dressed and headed for breakfast with the hope of seeing our Jet2 rep, who visits a few times a week. He got our room changed the same day and the second room was worlds apart from the first, that’s for sure. Breakfast and all the other meal times are located in the main restaurant, The food was of your typical mass cooked/produced and get it out to everyone as quick as possible style. Lots to choose ( if you’re not vegetarian, which your meals times will consist of salad, mixed veg or fruit ) but not of a decent standard. The children’s section ( as they have a buffet area ) was your usual chips, chicken nuggets beans etc, but one night they threw a curve ball in with breaded crab claw ( with the claw still poking out of it ). I love trying all sorts of foods, infact I would rather eat local cuisine when on holiday, but hand on my heart, after 3 days of trying to find something nice to eat, I laid down the gauntlet and took the family out to eat every day after that. The restaurants in Protaras are very nice and very reasonably priced! X2 starters, drinks, x2 mains and a pudding for approx €45. Porkys was lovely, with

We had a lovely week. Nice hotel, amazing friendly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food good and something for everyone. A little out of town however the bus stop is outside the hotel and never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to come along. Pool and water park gave hours and hours of entertainment for children aged between 2 and 15. The holiday was great from start to finish. Will definitely be back.

Post Travel Closed 8 Nov 2024 Customer contacted service provider: true we arrived at Larnaca at 3:40. on the 19th oct We had to wait until 5.40 for our transfers to depart due to having to wait for other flights with three small children. Got to the hotel showers were blocked completely flooded in the whole apartment. on more than one occasion one of our children in the party sliped and hit his head which caused a cut they moved us three times due to over flooding of the showers, poor drainage as well as cockroach infestation in 10 days. There wasn’t a manager to rectify any issues other than keep moving us rooms. They’re telling me I wasn’t satisfied, but how can I be satisfied when the problem was ongoing, my children wasn’t sleeping. We were sleeping with the light on every night me catching hundreds of cockroaches in an outside of the bedroom running across them while they were sleeping. This is a massive health and safety environmental health issue. I have both supporting evidence photographs as well as videos this place isn’t fit for purpose. I contacted Love Holidays on how many occasions running up my phone bill to be told that they were satisfied with the hotels response but yet the manager couldn’t come and talk to me personally two days me and my children slept in the lobby because of the infestation of cockroaches which a member of staff written report. I requested a picture of this report which I was told I was unable to have all facilities in a hotel were closed from the 3rd of November, which wasn’t stated in a hotel description. This was supposed to be all-inclusive which things were coming out an extra cost from start to finish this holiday has been a nightmare from hell and if this is all rectified I will be taking legal action photographs and videos do not lie . dinner hall, dusty and dirty absolutely filthy. The room was never cleaned other than blood stained bedsheets being changed and bins Empty considering there was a cockroach infestation. I’ve never been insulted and been so vulnerable and unable to protect my children in circumstances like this and all my life. We paid all this money to live in this sort of environment which is totally unacceptable. i’m unable to upload videos and pictures for some reason so when I have correspondence from you guys I will provide all evidence needed as well as us getting to the airport at Larnaca on return at eighth of November to be told that was a flight had been overbooked and we had to pay €250 to secure a seat or we wouldn’t of been able to leave Larnaca airport with three children. This is unheard of absolutely despicable I’m disgusted I will never ever be booking another holiday through Love Holidays again specially the support that you provided while I’ve been away living on my nerves trying to reassure three small children everything is gonna be okay when they could see the fear in me it’s been 10 days from hell, I could not wait to get back as I stress to you Absolutely disgu

This hotel is a 35 to 40 min walk to the main ***** in Protaras, or a 5 min taxi ride for 10 euro. Hotel was supposed to be all inclusive, however the food was very repetitive, the buffet for kids was the same every day chips and nuggets or pasta. The staff were nice. Our room was very basic and outdated, and needs an upgrade for all inclusive guests (not what I expected from a all inclusive hotel) Beds were very hard. We had to ask for more pillows, we had to make our own beds as cleaner just put clean sheets on the bottom of the bed. Toilet rolls were limited. We didn't get clean towels every day. We had to report shower as the shower as the tray would flood and not drain the water away. The TV only had Cypriot channels. The hotel closed the water park for the end of the season when guests were still there for 1 week+ meaning the children had to use the baby pool or the big pool. I realise it was it was Coming to end of season but even so there was still paying guest so the water park should have been kept it open until all paying guests had left. We were there from the 28th October 2024 until 6th November 2024.

Do not stay at this hotel! This hotel is absolutely awful.! The hotel was absolutely filthy, the corridors and stairs leading up to the rooms had chocolate spilt all over the stairs that had been there for a while, the cleaners were sat on the stairs eating ice cream with rubbish behind them, that was still there when they had finished their shift. We stayed for a week, after day 4 I had to have a row with reception to ask for clean towels, I then had to have a row for fresh bedding as my toddler had an accident on the bed.! I then had to ask for more toilet paper and bin bags so I could empty the bins.! There was no daily room change. We were sleeping on a plain white sheet on top of a mattress there was no mattress protector covers. The room was dirty the wi-fi did not work, every time we closed the hotel Door the back of the handle fell Off and then to top it off our Nintendo switch was taken out of our room.! I put a Facebook notice out and a few people also said they had things stolen out of their room.! Hotel staff not bothered ! Huge complaint put into Jet2 and with the jet 2 resort ! I will never ever stay in this hotel ever again.! It was an absolute shambles and a scene out of faulty towers.! The staff do not care.! And all everyone said was it’s coming to the end of the season.! My daughter came back from this holiday 1 Nintendo switch down, a perforated ear drum and diarrhea and vomiting!

This was my familys first time in Cyprus. I have just stayed here for a four night break, i am always secptical on reviews i read before i stay. as in the past i have read bad reviews, and when i stayed, it was the total opposite. This time i should of listened! Upon getting there, everything was ok checked in no problem we got there in time for evening meal,there was not a lot of choice one benefit was the kids section their was always somthing for my fussy child to eat, the food was luke warm or cold and this was constant for our hole visit. drinks were served by the waiter when you got to your table but trying to get a refill was impossible. I read a review that the pool was cold, and by god it was true the sea was warmer, if i didnt know better i would say they empty the ice machines in the pool on a night. It wasnt that cold in the warter park section so that was were we spent our time, that brings me to the life gaurds. There was a tall gentleman that i can't fault he did everything he could to interact with the guests and was so vigilant around the pool, there was one called michel he spent all of his time glued to his phone with his air pods in, we had to make a complaint to the manger about him as there was narly a nasty accident involving my son as he came down one of the slides. The manager couldnt look less intrested and looked like he just wanted to go back in his office.on the last day my son was coming down the the slide when he went into the water that same lifeguard came down the slide and landed on my son. I had to speak to him myself and inform him he is ment to be waching the pool not coming down the slides. Our room got cleaned once on our whole trip and bed linen was not changed or our bins emptied, i had to go to reception and ask for this to be done. Our shower wouldn't drain properly so i have to ask in reception to get this fixed, the last thing i paid for a room for four but must have had about 20 with all the cockroaches that were coming out of the doorframe in the bathroom. This hotel could be so much more with better management and staff and has so much potential. I wont be returning to this hotel again.
