Agriturismo Valleverde

We rented the entire site from June 30 to July 18 so we could accommodate our entire immediate family that included our daughters and their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a total of around 18-19 people. We also contracted to have dinner every night, including wine and soft drinks. We took breakfast and lunch on are own. Everyone had a marvelous time according to feedback from the oldest to the youngest. Daiela, perhaps the most gracious host we have ever encountered is the proprietor was an unbelievably accommodating host. You cannot find anyone better. Anna the chef prepared the most wonderful meals, consulting with us each evening of what we would like to have the next evening and at what time. We ate outside every evening although there is a lovely spacious air conditioned interior dining area should you wish to eat inside. The grounds are beautiful, including a 25 meter swimming pool with a shallow area for infants and small children.The rooms are all air conditioned with en-suite bathrooms so everyone had their own private space during their entire stay. Additionally Valleverde is located only 5 kilometers from SanGiovanni Valdarno, a beautiful medieval town that has a train station that whisks you into Florence within 35-40 minutes. Sienna is about an hours drive away. You can also take train to Rome to and from San Giovanni about 3 hours ride. The surrounding countryside is Tuscany at its most beautiful, situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The wines are luscious. Should you wish to cook your own meals each unit has a well equipped kitchen including pots and pans, dishes, etc. food shopping is easy with,a large supermarket nearby and smaller stores with excellent produce. Eating out is easy as well at a beautiful town square in San Giovanni. Montvarchi and Arezzo are close by towns, with Arezzo an especially lovely medieval hill town. Our stay at Agriturismo Valleverde was a once in a lifetime adventure. I should not forget to mention Mavi the site manager, who helped make our stay. In closing, I should not forget to mention that it would be better to rent a car. Both Avis and Hertz will rent a car in San Giovanni. We rented from Avis.

Agriturismo alle porte di Montevarchi . Colazione semplice ma abbondante ( diciamo che da un agriturismo ci si aspetta qualcosa di fatto in casa ... ) . Personale molto cortese. Camera spaziosa e pulita . Prezzi onesti .

Agriturismo veramente caratteristico, personale accogliente e una pulizia eccellente. Abbiamo anche cenato la prima sera al nostro arrivo e i piatti erano "pochi ma buoni"Colazione semplice ma genuina.Posizione strategica.Straconsigliato!!

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti nella junior suite Origano, camera ristrutturata di recente, molto spaziosa, discreta la pulizia , purtroppo la mancanza di zanzariere ci ha costretto a dormire sempre con il condizionatore acceso, senza poter beneficiare della frescura serale. La zona piscina curata e rilassante. Staff gentile ed attento alle richieste. Colazione con buona qualità di prodotti dolci e salati, ma quantità un poco scarse al buffet. Abbiamo cenato una sera nel ristorante interno: piatti nella norma con prezzi un po elevati. Nel complesso una buona struttura.
