We visited the property when it was first constructed, and the current renovation is breathtaking! No expense was spared. From the moment you enter, The Bellerive is impressive to all the senses. Very elegant, tasteful contemporary design, subtle but pleasing colors, Excellent Wi-Fi and AC. The attention to details for comfort and design are evident throughout the spacious, luxurious guest rooms and bathrooms. Perfect breakfast, couldn’t ask for more. Best morning doppio cappuccino ever! Cheerfully served, along with freshly-squeezed orange juice, referred to as “Sprematura.” Inviting pristine pool, wonderful lounges and pool beds, surrounded by tranquil gardens. Nothing is spared- The hotel even provides a full-time lifeguard! Most Attentive Staff! The old- world quality of dedicated service overflows here. I think in Italy special training is mandatory, (and everyone speaks flawless English) but each of the staff naturally exude warmth and caring. All areas of personnel are exceptionally courteous, smiling and quick to respond to any requests. At the Bellerive, they go one step further than above and beyond. Nestled in a serene stretch in Salò’ overlooking the lake, most rooms have a terrace with direct view of the sailboats moored. Adjacent is a delightful park for children to explore and de-energize. Little stroll to best gelato at La Romana Gelateria. Excellent cuisine is served in the hotel as well as cocktails on the patio overlooking the passagiata. The free secure car parking area on the gated hotel grounds was most appreciated and convenient. Compliments to everyone, including Ottavia, Lucrezia, Giuseppe, Andrea, and the especially to the gracious and brilliant General Manager, Alessandra, Brava! The travel agent nor Jet2 advised us on booking this hotel that it was due to close in October for a major refit. We found out after we had booked it. I contacted the hotel and was assured all services were in place to ensure our special (25th wedding anniversary) would be a success. On arrival the suite was a great location overlooking the lake but the room was very tired and drab, we didn’t mind that as the view made up for it. However, the services within the hotel are very lacking, fridge wasn’t topped up, even though we mentioned it at reception, some sun beds were broken and dirty, dirty parasols, breakfast was chaotic always running out of plates, cups, tea pots, we actually only had breakfast four times as both myself and my husband came down with food poisoning during our stay and were quite ill. There was no room service so even though we were ill we wouldn’t have been able to get anything brought up. I did have a couple of messages from management asking how we were. We had an evening meal one night and due to torrential rain during the day, the floor at the outdoor seating area leading to our table was wet and clearly a hazard, given a lot of elderly stayed here I was surprised we weren’t seated inside. The choice of bar snacks was very limited and mainly a burger or club sandwich which wasn’t very inspiring, the evening meal was ok but not great, earlier reviews mentioned fine dining but it definitely wasn’t, in fact a lot of the clients were complaining that they’d been previously and the standards had dropped immensely, apparently jet2 had stopped booking half board and offered refunds as there were many complaints about the food etc. the staff were pleasant and friendly but overall I wish we had changed the booking and gone elsewhere. It wasn’t a special place at all and very expensive for what we had in comparison to other four star hotels we’ve stayed at. I’m sure ten years ago it was a wonderful place.

La struttura è collocata in un contesto molto caratteristico. Gli interni e gli arredi sono curati. L’accesso alla spa dall’ hotel è molto comodo e la spa è assolutamente meritevole. Il buffet della colazione è ricco di alimenti sani e di qualità. Il servizio della colazione è perfetto. Purtroppo l edificio risente molto delle infiltrazioni di pioggia. Sicuramente da sistemare ( alcuni corridoi durante la pioggia si allagano letteralmente) . La parte di residenza dei castagni ( una sorta di dependance dell hotel ) è assolutamente scomoda da raggiungere e la camera era fredda. Tutto promosso tranne la camera per queste ragioni.

We spent two nights in this Doubletree hotel in a modern area a bit outside the city center. The hotel is easy to reach by car and public transport and there is plenty of (free and safe) car parking available on the two fenced hotel car parks. The city center is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel, or you can take the metro. We received a nice room upgrade to a modern, spacious, quiet and clean room. The room and bathroom were well appointed and comfortable, including the bed. Also the hotel outdoors pool was very large and clean, although it did lack some atmosphere because of its very large size. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was ok with a reasonable selection of foods and drinks, but some of the products had run out towards the end of the breakfast time period. We would certainly consider staying here again when next in Brescia.

Moderate hotel. There's a shop just in front of the hotel, and a pharmacy. Inside, the room is OK, not more. They made reconstruction, which is really note good. The water goes out and floods on the floor. Makes a big mess. No place to put the wet towels, so you have to dry them in a chair. Breakfast is OK. Not more. I've been to hotels much better in size of rooms, and that thing of the wet floor of shower is a disaster

I stayed at Hotel Igea in July 2022 and found it very difficult to find any fault. My room wasn't anything superior, just a normal room, but found it more than spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious. The curtains were very thick to ensure darkness when the sun comes up, large HD TV, mini-fridge which was very welcome in the climate and bed was comfy. The only negative sides about the hotel room was one or two areas of dust in high places which had clearly been continually missed and no bedside power sockets for charging devices. Staff were very friendly and professional, were more than happy to hold my luggage after checking out and the hotel restaurant is also an excellent standard with large, good quality portions. Very warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a good value for money. If I return to Brescia, I would definitely stay here again.
