I read the other tripadvisor reviews and was terrified (booked through priceline, found the tripadvisor reviews after I booked). However, this place was solid and was a fine stay in Manarola during a crowded weekend. Check in was not nearly as bad as other reviews made it out to be. Someone will whatsapp message your phone w/ sufficient details and the place really was not that hard to find either. The room was nice w/ new appliances and a window that had a partial sea view. However, the hotel was not have a balcony or terrace and does not have a hottub/Jacuzzi. The photos make it seem like it does, but it does not. Overall, satisfied with my stay here.

停車場有一個在酒店內，一個在酒店旁邊開車5分鐘的地方，最後也沒找到在哪，搞了一個多小時，決定停在馬路邊，每兩個小時要交一次費，晚八點到早八點是免費。小SUV非常不友好，或者你車技很好。我是生活在美國的，習慣了大車位，在意大利停車有點焦慮。兩張門卡不好用， 提着行李上去之後，又下來換成鑰匙。房間在內側，很安靜，早餐算豐盛。酒店有一點設計感。步行到火車站五六分鐘。

Good location between the train station and port.
The shower drain was a bit blocked and would over flow if you had it on full.
You could also smell the typical unpleasant drain smell from a blocked pipe.

We have returned this week from a great 6 night stay at the NH Hotel La Spezia in Liguria Italy. Our room was a recently renovated Junior Suite on the 8th floor at the front of the Hotel, which gave us a great panoramic view of the whole of the Bay of La Spezia. The suite consisted of a large bedroom with an electronic safe situated in the built in wardrobe, a separate lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. Wifi was available throughout the Hotel. The bathroom was modern and clean with a large walk-in shower cubicle. There were wall mounted televisions in both the lounge and the bedroom. We had breakfast in the dining room on the ground floor during our stay which included a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks. There is also a small bar on the ground floor and food is also available from the restaurant. The location of the Hotel is very good overlooking public gardens, the sea promenade, Cruise Terminal and Ferries to the nearby islands and the villages of the Cinque Terre National Park. It is a thirty minute walk from Spezia Centrale Station to the Hotel. There is a large choice of bars and restaurants available within a few minutes walk from the Hotel. The Hotel staff throughout our stay were all very pleasant and helpful and the bedroom suite and public areas were all well maintained. We found that the City of La Spezia had a good range of attractions to visit including the Castello San Giorgi and the Naval Technical Museum which we visited. Our main reason for visiting the area was to explore the 5 villages of the Cinque Terre; Monterosso Al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, which we managed to do by means of the excellent train service. Cinque Terre Cards available from the train station cost 18.20 euros for one day unlimited travel between La Spezia and the villages and these also allow access to the footpath network between the villages. During our stay we also visited the beautiful resort of Portovenere by ferry, which is also served by buses from La Spezia. We took the opportunity to visit the picturesque village of Santa Margherita Ligure from where we took a ferry to nearby Porto Fino. Buses also run between Santa Margherita and Porto Fino. We found the NH Hotel an ideal location to stay and from which to explore the area and would stay at the hotel again should we return to La Spezia.

Well what a truly memorable week at Hotel Clelia! It was perfect in every single way - The hotel was ideal for the needs of our family and 2 young children. It was clean, safe and extremely friendly. The family who own the premises simply could not do enough to make us feel more welcome. The small town has a pleasant beach and plenty of good places to eat - including the hotel itself that serves top class cuisine. A small train station links you to the many attractive beach towns along the coast including the Cinque Terre. We will defintely be back

Office is not on site and more stairs to get up there. Better call before arriving to skip these stairs with heavy luggage. Room condition as seen in the ads. Waterfront view. Near Boat deck that the sound of the wave bashing to the cliff was very attractive. Price was reasonable for the breath-taking view and short walk to the train station. 2. Service: Owner Micky is very friendly and professional. He outlined the best views spots and restaurants. He offered in-room a bottle of wine and snacks. 3. Room: Traditional tidy but enough storage. Bed/Pillows/Mattress: super comfortable. 4. Bathroom: Tiny bathroom as expected for the original structure in an old town. 5. Cleanliness: super 6. Noise: ocean noise that I slept through as in heaven In conclusion staying in Scorci Di Mare enhanced my sweet experiences with Italy country and with Italian hospitality.

VVoyager65954379183We stayed for 7 nights and could not fault anything. We are so happy we chose to stay here. The staff were so helpful and friendly including Francesco the minibus driver, the breakfast staff and the two owners. They could not have done more to make our stay better. The room was spacious with a large comfy bed, nice bedding, quiet air con and a large bathroom with a good shower and plenty of hot water, large balcony with great views over the beautiful countryside. The pool was a welcome delight after being out visiting the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere. There was always enough sunloungers. The breakfast (with stunning views )was delicious with lovely croissants, fresh cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, cheese and hams and breads, cereals, yogurts, eggs, pancakes and more. We had a few lunches which were also very good but only ate there one evening as we prefer to walk into town. There are several terraces for drinks and a complimentary mini bus to collect or take you to town or the train so don’t worry about it being high up. It’s a ten minute walk to the train or town downhill and easily walkable. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only one thing we may have used if it had been there was an iron as our clothes were quite creased. I am sure if we had asked they would have provided one but we just never bothered. There is a spa which looked lovely but we never used. It’s a perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre and beyond. Excellent train service and boat to Porto Venere. Walk to Bonnasola next door to Levanto through the tunnels.

The hotel is situeted high above costal area in the quiet small village. The room was spacious - if you come for a long stay there is enough place to store several suitcases. Small balcony with a view. The hotel is clean like an ER. The lady at the reception desk warmly welcomed us and provided useful information about 5terre. The rooms are called by the names of the surrounding villages and not by numbers - very nice idea. You need to order your breakfast at the evening, but if you feel hungry - there is a ”refill”. Few minutes walking from the church there are two hiking roads: to Corniglia and Manarola. Take the path to Corniglia: breathtaking views to the sea and after 10 min you'll reach a boutique winery: take a glass of white wine (or bottle :-) ) and enjoy the sunset. The bus to/from Monarola operates until late evening (~ 23:30), +/- every 30 min with some changes in the schedule in the weekends. The bus stop is 50 m from the hotel

Nevertheless I want to mention that every single person from staff was highly motivated and trying to support us in every way, appreciated!
The breakfast had been very good (compared to italian standards); hint: always order italian coffee and forget the american coffee.
Small remark, regarding my personal expectations regarding room size: as I booked Executive room type I paid the price and I did expect some room with at least 30 squaremeters; finally I think it was something around 20 squaremeters, which is pretty small. Would be good to clearly mention this in advance; I could not see any room size in my original booking via trip.com. The bath was very modern and good. Sea view and small balcony included, super nice!
Free parking included was great (and really necessary; small old streets which are crowed with parking cars, to pay hourly + ongoing street works all the time)
We did hike to Quinque Terra (to the next town Remaggiore); hotel was perfect starting point.
I would come back again, but next time book bigger room.

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo soggiornato solo una notte durante il Napoleon Festival e siamo stati benissimo,! Stanze spaziose, pulite , ben arredate e con tutti i confort . Materasso comodissimo. Molto carina anche l'idea della colazione in camera. Una delle mie amiche, giusto per farvi capire come ci siamo trovati, non voleva più tornare a casa !!! Paolo e Sabrina, i proprietari, due persone splendide, ci hanno fatto sentire proprio a nostro agio! Gentili, disponibili e ci hanno accolto con il SORRISO! Altra cosa importante e che ci si può spostare a piedi e il centro è proprio vicinissimo. inoltre parcheggio ampio proprio lì vicino ! Consigliatissimo e se possibile, torneremo sicuramente ....

È successo che l’anno scorso per motivi di salute non avevamo potuto pensare alle vacanze per tempo, e in più avevo voluto provare a organizzare qualche giorno in Liguria (la nostra Regione) spendendo il meno possibile, utilizzando due cofanetti Smartbox acquistati mesi prima… Incredibilmente, pur avendo prenotato tardi (a fine Giugno, per fine Luglio!), ero riuscita a trovare una camera per due notti presso questa struttura di Sarzana, che compariva tra le possibilità offerte da uno dei cofanetti relativi ai Borghi più belli d’Italia (che consiglio). Ne leggerete di tutti i colori in altre recensioni su questo piccolo residence, ma io personalmente lo consiglio, perché con mio marito mi ci sono trovata tutto sommato bene (anche se siamo stati poco) e noi pensiamo che abbia come punti di forza la posizione (con parcheggio gratuito disponibile nella piazzetta pubblica, cosa che in Liguria in città è rara…), comodissima per andare a cena a piedi in centro, oltre che il prezzo (particolarmente conveniente con lo Smartbox preso con un codice sconto, ma anche con prenotazione diretta o su Booking sicuramente ne vale la pena). Per quanto mi riguarda ho trovato il titolare reperibile via mail nell’organizzare il viaggio, perché mi aveva risposto presto per comunicare al tour operator dei Borghi la disponibilità della stanza proprio per i giorni che cercavamo, mentre inizialmente mi aveva fatto dire che non c’era posto; quindi aveva risolto! Certo, appena arrivati però c’era un pó d’aria d’abbandono… Il titolare aveva fatto solo una toccata e fuga il secondo giorno… Le cameriere sconsolate si sono date da fare, chiamando ripetutamente il Sig. Filippo (un giovane che pare abbia ereditato la struttura da altri e sembra non averne molta cura…) chiedendogli di mandare qualcuno per fare alcune riparazioni urgenti, e dai e dai finalmente qualcosa si era mosso! Nella nostra camera matrimoniale al piano seminterrato (sono d’accordo con altri clienti che ne hanno scritto su TA, con un pó d’odore di chiuso e qualche rumore proveniente dagli impianti di un bagno del piano superiore, ma niente di grave), molto grande (una tripla in due!) silenziosa (ottime finestre!), con letto comodissimo e dove abbiamo dormito bene, lo split dell’aria condizionata (non indispensabile comunque, stanza esposta a Ovest e non caldissima pure d’estate) il giorno dopo funzionava bene impostato a 24 gradi (quando eravamo arrivati avevamo dovuto metterlo a 19), e una delle lampadine bruciate sopra l’armadio era stata sostituita. Quanto al portarotolo penzolante e all’anta della doccia mancante (perché rotta da tempo…) era il meno, le cameriere ci avevano dato un tappetino in più ma stavamo attenti a puntare verso il muro il getto dell’acqua. Prese elettriche più che sufficienti, ma volendo essere pignola suggerisco lampadine più luminose (c’è più chiaro nel disimpegno all’ingresso nella camera e in bagno che dal lett

PPengguna TetamuWe recently spent 3 nights at hotel Arpaiu - The roof top terrace view is both spectacular and peaceful. A wonderful place to relax after a day of visiting the other towns. Thank you to our hotel hostess, Tatianna! She was so welcoming and prepared a lovely breakfast of fresh pastries, local breads, meats and we enjoyed our cappuccino each there each morning! The room was modest but comfortable for the 3 days we were there. Thank you Tatianna, you were so accommodating - we loved meeting you! Ciao for now!

PPengguna TetamuHotel Argentina is the best! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking Riomaggiore and view of the Gulf of Genoa. The lovely hostess made homemade breakfast bread which was delicious! I left my raincoat and hoodie in their lobby on the last day of our visit and the staff found my clothing and mailed back to me! I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff and owners. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and strong shower in the renovated bathroom. We were glad that the nearby elevator near the church was working so the climb back and forth town was doable. The rates are reasonable and this hotel is in a great location for the money.

PPengguna TetamuAnche quest'anno tappa a Terre di Liguria. Stesso appartamento dell'anno scorso, purtroppo solo per una notte di ritorno dalla Toscana. Riconfermo la qualità e la comodità dell'appartamento, del parcheggio , ottima la piscina che salva dall'afa. Cena sul terrazzo con arietta fresca. Condizionatore all'interno, una manna con sto caldo. Completamente insonorizzato, la strada è lì attaccata ma non si sente assolutamente nulla. Qualità del sonno eccellente. Prezzo molto molto conveniente. Al prossimo Anno!
