Italian hospitality at its finest! 8 days of exquisite local meals in a beautiful garden setting went fast. The entire staff went well over the top, keeping it personal and the hours flew by. My situation was unique. The wonderful owner Maria Christina & staff turned quarantine into a lovely experience. Considering how far out of their way they went for me, I surmise she and the staff care deeply about all who stay there. It was near paradise. Although i was confined to a cottage and patio, the scenery, atmosphere, and friendship made this experience terrific. The chef is most creative.

Hotel situato nel comune di Arborea, località immersa nella natura. Moderno, ma con dettagli tipici della tradizione sarda. Le camere sono molto confortevoli e ben arredate. Letti comodissimi. Dispone di una piscina molto grande, ottima per una nuotata dopo la giornata al mare. Colazione a buffet molto ricca con dolci fatti in casa buonissimi. Pulizia impeccabile. Garden ben curato. Our room is quite large, with small fridge, flat TV, air conditioner. There are lots of design things in the room, like light switches or equipment in the bathroom. The street where hotel is locates is very quiet. There are type L electric sockets compatible with type C sockets. If you need grounded Eurosocket (type F), there are several on ground floor. The room was far from the elevator, maybe because of this Internet connection was weak. Next to elevator there is sofa and Internet connection was much better. The hotel has nice continental breakfast. Their cafe macchiato is absolutely superb. There is no actual beach in Oristano, but hotel has 25m swimming pool on the ground floor. For the local sightseeing the old city wall is just 250m from the hotel. For the shopping Eurospar supermarket is just 90m from the hotel, Crai in 500m. The large EuroSpin and MD supermarkets are in 2 km in Santa Justa direction. There is nice park with playground, calisthenic equipment and small duck pond just in 140m from the hotel. ARST bus station is in 650m from the hotel. Buses to Punta Is Arutas beach with quartz sand and Sant Giovanni di Sinis goes there. A train stations is 1.8 km from the hotel.

Thanks to all the staff in Hotel Rossa for all your help and kindness when my hired car broke down. They assisted me in getting a taxi back to the airport to pick up a new car. The staff also spoke to the hired company to arrange for the broken down car to be picked up. They couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us sorted. The room was clean and more than adequate for what we needed. The pool was lovely and quiet and had chairs and umbrellas. Was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and there were lots of bars and restaurants to have lunch and dinner in. There’s parking right across from the beach, which was cheap.

Abbiamo soggiornato i giorni a ridosso di ferragosto e pagato circa 160 euro a notte due adulti e una bambina con colazione. Le aspettative erano alte lette le recensioni e viste le varie foto, la realtà non è stata all'altezza. La struttura vista da fuori è molto bella e avrebbe grandi potenzialità ma una volta entrati l'ambiente è privo di colore e di calore, l'odore dei corridoi e della camera era quello dei locali non arieggiati con un po' di muffa in alcuni punti. Manca di una zona esterna di aggregazione con divani ce n'erano solo due proprio davanti all'ingresso in un punto scomodo e non sufficienti ad accogliere più di una manciata di ospiti medesimo discorso per le sedute in piscina ne ho contate 17 ma la struttura è molto più ampia. La cosa peggiore, segnalata anche durante il check out, è la totale assenza di insonorizzazione delle stanze....si sente tutto dall'ospite del piano di sopra che sposta le sedie ai colpi di tosse e le chiacchiere di quelli adiacenti per non parlare di tutto il resto...(lascio a voi immaginare di cosa sto parlando ...). I soldi che abbiamo pagato assolutamente non valgono il servizio offerto, tra il letto che scricchiola i panni da stendere sul filo appiccicato al muro, mia figlia con la dermatite la prima notte che ha dormito nel letto, i bisogni degli animali nel giardino antistante la stanza ...ho soggiornato in strutture meno care in grado di garantire tutto e di più soprattutto in tema di privacy. Sconsigliato per soggiorni lunghi in quanto un vicino rumoroso potrebbe rovinarvi le ferie, va bene per un weekend alla metà del prezzo pagato.

This was a pleasant relaxing place to stay that is right on the beach. The rooms are a nice size. We stayed two days in two different rooms one was a superior room that was nicely appointed and appeared recently renovated. It was a relatively large space with a large bathroom & shower. We liked it so much that we decided to stay a second night. However, when we booked that, unbeknownst to us we were getting a regular room. Initially, we were disappointed by that as that meant we had to pack our things yet again. In the end though the regular room turned out to be a good size room too. The shower was smaller but still adequate. The bathroom was a good size though. The pool is really nice and clean too. (I have pools in both of my houses). There is ample free seating around the pool. We had snacks that we brought with us poolside and when we requested two glasses of ice from the restaurant the attendant said the restaurant owner wouldn’t like that we brought food with us. That is despite the fact that the restaurant was closed and we were hungry. The breakfast offering was just okay but enough to not be hungry as you start your day. The sand on the beach is a darker brown color which taints the water color a bit from the emerald green that it really is on the other beaches. Regardless, it’s convenient and refreshing.
