First of all, the location is perfect and the rooftop makes it possible to relax and have the best view over Palermo. Let’s talk about the staff. Never in any destination I’ve meet a staff so friendly, funny, helpful and generous. The hostel has everything you need, kitchen, free food, music instruments, play rooms, amazing outdoor areas, bar, and a pool is upcoming too. The rooms are really clean and spacey. Bed and room temperature is comfortable. The only problem was that I had to leave.

Lovely hotel overlooking a piazza. We booked a room with a balcony which was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. It is centrally located with bakeries, restaurants, shops and history right on your doorstep. Although it is a busy road, as is all the center you cannot hear the traffic in the room. The photographs of the Hotel absolutely do not do it justice at all, it is so much better.

Close to the city center and main shopping area. Car not needed and parking in the area of the city a challenge. Room was spacious and tidy but needed updating. The refrigerator only functions when you're in the room making it a challenge to keep anything cold. Comfortable shower but the door barely worked as some plastic hardware was brittle and broke. Friendly staff was helpful when approached but did not go out of their way to anticipate problems. Breakfast was extensive and the bar (coffee) staff very friendly and professional. Note that we booked two rooms in anticipation of a working family member but had to cancel one after she got COVID. The hotel refused to provide a refund for the cancelled room AND we paid additional for an extended stay in the remaining room as we waited for a negative test while she quarantined in another location. Additionally, while the staff (mostly) observed COVID protocol, most of the guests did not.

La struttura e' un po datata e la colazione non il massimo per qualita' e quantita', per il prezzo pagato direi che va bene.

PPengguna TetamuOverall a good hotel. Location is excellent, central to most of the major sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Breakfast not too exciting. Our one big drawback was the advertised free parking is not free. It costs €10 a night and we were not made aware of this before hand. The parking garage is not based at the hotel but further down the street and is very difficult to drive to. Normal procedure is to call the hotel and they ask you to pull over on a busy road and a parking attendant will come and get you. He then keeps the car and car keys at his garage and will bring the car out on request from the hotel. The system worked well once we were aware but again it caused some stress and confusion on our first night driving around a busy city. And driving in Palermo is not for the faint hearted!

PPengguna TetamuStayed here for 10 days, Meet and greet team and all the restaurant staff were amazing and helpful, Nina the cleaner is a delight, breakfast is adequate but does not change much, would recommend getting to the diner as early as possible. Hotel is clean and very tidy throughout, jacuzzi is welcome on the terrazzo but is a bit small , the views of the mountains, see and people going about their day to day activities can be enjoyed by the jacuzzi aswell, staff are always happy to help and advise on where to go in town if you need something

PPengguna TetamuI really enjoyed my stay despite some minor issues. The suite was modern, well designed, clean with comfortable mattress and sheets. We were few minutes walk to Palermo Central Train/ Bus station, so when traffic is high, no need to take a cab and be stressed, you just pick up your luggage and walk. The property manager was very nice to us. The area was a bite odd, but I felt safe. Please note it would have been better to return before 22:30 if you were on foot. I travelled with my mum and my kid so I certainly needed an elevator. You have to give the door a Hard Push either to the elevator or your suite room and everything will be fine. I had one day an issue with the shower as the drain was clogged and a lot of water went onto the floor, my mum tried to fix it with some towels. As a Civil Eng., I understand that some technical workers did not do properly their work and I do respect someone else property, so I immediately sent a message to the manager to fix it. In the meanwhile I showered in the small bathroom we had in order to save time and enjoying our holiday. On our return it was fixed. Finally, Palermo is an very interesting city with friendly people and I particularly enjoyed my double cappuccino at Gran Cafe TORINO and dinner at SciuRum restaurant.

JjuliansC6134WCMangia's Himera exceeded our expectations. I got married in Sicily and brought my entire family (around 80 people) to stay for a week. Without a doubt, it is one of the best family resorts in Sicily. The first thing I notice in a hotel is cleanliness, and I can confirm that the resort was impeccably clean throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the resort offers a variety of activities for both individuals and groups, making it a priority to fill your days with laughter and enjoyment. As Maltese people accustomed to air conditioning during summer, we were initially concerned, but this was the first time I had to turn the AC down because I felt cold during the day. The food was outstanding. Despite my numerous food allergies, the staff were flexible and accommodating, making our stay much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone, whether you're traveling alone or with a large family like ours. They truly make you feel welcome.

Looks like a nice resort for families as there are individual 'cabins', a swimming pool and a tennis court. Have to get used to the Italian breakfast - hardboiled eggs, cheese, corn beef, jam and bread. But a whole table of sweets and desserts
I took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning for 25€. It might because I arrived so late as the hotel could not guaranteed shuttle from airport to hotel. Because it could not be guaranteed, I took a taxi for 35€.

PPengguna TetamuGreeted by friendly receptionist on arrival late at night. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was on the 2nd floor, the upper-most floor. The room was spacious and well equipped, with two beds, bedside tables, a large chair, a desk, a fridge, television, but most importantly an air-conditioning unit. Everything was in good working order. The outlet plugs are the strange italian 3-pin ones as opposed to the usual Europe 2-pin model, so not all our adaptors worked. Bathroom was decent and has everything one would expect. The shower is rather on the small side and could do with higher water pressure. More than ample lighting in the room. Our only real complaint of the stay is that every single night (we stayed 5 nights) there was an awful noise and commotion coming from directly below the hotel’s balcony - some kind of odd party going on every night. Unsure if this was related to the hotel itself or not. This noise continued well into 02:00H / 2am. I messaged reception every night that ‘il rumore é troppo forte’ but nothing was ever done. Dinner was absolutely awful - shocking quality at extortionate prices; hardly anything traditionally italian either. Save yourself and go somewhere local or in the city centre. Much better and cheaper elsewhere. Location seems good but public transport in the area is abysmal and should not be relied upon. Taxis are incredibly expensive, especially for tourists. Apart from those issues it was a good stay and would stay again. I just wouldn’t dine in the restaurant ever again, and would probably request a room away from that god-forsaken balcony.

TThomas SeilerSehr einfach Gehalten. Preis - Leistung ist aber ok. Das Frühstück war überraschend reichhaltig. Leider ist ab 6:45 vorbei mit länger schlafen im Urlaub, da es von der Rezeption her sehr laut war. Das ist schade. Die Zimmer sind ja grad ein paar Meter neben der Rezeption.

-Service: the biggest issue we encountered was to check in the hotel upon arrival. Since there is no reception at the building, you’re supposed to contact the hotel owner, William, by phone for getting the keys. However, the breakfasts there were lovely with scenic rooftop view and handmade beverages by the caterer
-Cleanliness: the room is generally clean but there’s no daily cleaning service and windows need to be opened to dispel odors
-Amenities: the best part of the hotel’s amenities was that they got a water dispenser for refilling your water bottles
