Hotel berhampiran Giordano Motor Garden, Province Of Salerno

The negative reviews on here debate whether this is a 5 star resort or not. This is subjective and depends where you have stayed in your past. We live in the US. We have lived in Shanghai for many years and traveled extensively around that region. The resorts there are truly 5 star. Some of the best in the world. Even compared to the US. However, traveling throughout Europe there are different standards. This region is older and steeped in history which is the allure of visiting. Having said that I Hotel Raito is a 5 star resort. The service is outstanding from the front desk to the dining room and even maintenance and then the pool. The pool is fantastic! Very relaxing and the views! The dining at their restaurant in the evenings were great. We stayed in room 120 which is at the front of the hotel overlooking the entrance from the parking lot. My guess not the most desirable room. My wife and I were fine with it as it was clean and had a balcony overlooking Vietri and the sea. We are very positive people so that helps with our experiences and outlook. I could go on and on. Come stay at Hotel Raito and explore and fall in love with the Amalfi Coast!

The hotel does have a grand-presence on Lungomare. Being an older and spacious property does have it's advantages - like having a wide balcony with chairs to gaze out at the exotic Amalfi coast (photo attached). Though Easter time, we were lucky to have a room with a balcony. Conveniently located in a 10-minute walk the the Salerno station, bus-stop or concordia Pier to reach Amalfi. Room was spacious with large cupboards and a small place to cook-meals. A kettle would have been comfortable in the room. Being Asian, I love my warm water and a morning coffee. Breakfast was tasty with some of the local sweet delicacies like Sfogliatella and Conchiglia. I noticed it was spread in way which reduced food-wastage on the table. However, I missed warm sausages or omlette. Would have also liked vegetable salads and cut fruits. A variety of whole fresh fruits were accessible, but sometimes we get lazy to peel and eat an entire fruit :) Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is ok, some weird rules around the pool where you are obligated to wear a cap in order to access it. The safe guard is very persistent on keeping this rule. The restaurant was surprisingly better than expected. It takes about 1.5h to reach amalfi by the car from hotel. Hotel has a parking lot which is def a perk. The rooms were ok and clean.

We booked an Executive Double Room for 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is connected to Osteria Arbustico a Michelin star restaurant. During check-in we were told that the pool was closed for that day. There was a wedding venue the whole day and we found out that the guests occupied every space available so there was no room for the other guests that were staying at the hotel. No possibility to eat, to drink nothing. Our room was more that of a Motel. It was separated from the hotel in a block with other rooms. We had a view from our terras on the parking, garbage, airco units and clean wash hanging outside. The room was small and had a small dated shower. The second day we went to the pool. To our surprise we found broken glass, cigarettes, olives, cheese and whatever you can think of left behind by the beloved guests of the day before. During the day this was cleaned up as well as possible because this was too much for the regular cleaning staff. In the afternoon we were confronted with a new event in the hotel namely a communion with a lunch in the restaurant and bar. We decided to go to the beach to avoid the hotel again. When I asked the manager if they had given me the right room he reacted anoyed. I tried again by showing him a picture of my view and he confirmed that this is what I paid for. I didn't react anymore because I realized that this person had no clue on how to handle disappointed guests and he had absolutely no idea what the word service stands for. We didn't ask for anything special or a discount or whatever but not being taken serious was the main irritation that we had. Our advice: please check in advance if the hotel has no events and due to the manager we say that this is hotel is 2 star worthy.

Assolutamente da non perdere! Siamo stati con la nostra bimba che è letteralmente impazzita tra i giochi, gli animali e la possibilità di correre sul prato senza pericoli. Il posto è situato in un punto molto panoramico con una terrazza da cui si può ammirare uno splendido tramonto mentre si consuma un aperitivo o una cena con i prodotti a km 0 prodotti direttamente da loro. Come non inserire nella recensione la fantastica colazione sia dolce che salata che include anche prodotti del caseificio proprio attaccato alla sala colazioni: yogurt di bufala con il loro miele, ricotta di bufala, mozzarelle e perfino cappuccino con latte di bufala! Oltre ovviamente a torte brioche salumi frutta e altre delizie. A completare il tutto il comfort delle camere, la gentilezza di tutto il personale e l’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Insomma se avete in programma un viaggio in quelle zone non perdetevi questa possibilità di vivere un’esperienza autentica!

Albergo situato al centro di Palinuro, pulitissimo e con personale disponibilissimo e attentissimo alle esigenze del cliente. Un plauso gigante per tutto il personale della reception con una menzione speciale per Domenico e Simona che ci hanno ”accompagnato” per tutto il soggiorno con consigli, suggerimenti e indicazioni assolutamente graditi ed affidabili. La ciliegina sulla torta sono le 2 terrazze del Ristorante dell'albergo ”Il Vicoletto” dove oltre a mangiare benissimo, si ha la possibilità di ammirare un panorama e dei tramonti che lascino senza fiato. Se e quando torneremo a Palinuro non avremo dubbi per ritornarci.
