Hotel Provincia de Andres Ibanez dengan Sarapan

Officially the hotel has five stars, but based on my experience it is a one star hotel. The hotel shuttle did not wait at the airport as planned with them, I called them, they said I had to wait. Once they appeared after more than half an hour, the driver said we had to wait some more for other passengers… so the very close hotel was far away…. Once we finally arrived, we were not really impressed about the lobby, old and run down. The front desk staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. Everything we needed had to be asked several times. For example, we asked for Moskito spray, I called the front desk five times, and it did not arrive. Only at the restaurant they gave me a bottle of Moskito repellent after I told them my issue. Also I asked them to pick up some laundry from my room,I had to call them several times and only after one and half hour they arrived. So simple things get very complicated here. The rooms are old and dated with broken walls, a lot of stains and dirty as well. And you bet there were lots of Moskitos. The Restaurant served simple breakfast and simple dinner, food was edible but not good. Also here the service was not good at all. Only positive thing is the location close to the airport - so if you don’t mind a very basic hotel with bad service, then you might be happy. But if you are a decent traveler with some expectations you better avoid this hotel.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo ao Centro Histórico da cidade. O hotel é bem grande, com quartos espaçosos. No meu quarto havia duas camas de casal. Há piscina “gelada” para os corajosos. O café da manhã é bem simples e com pouca variedade de proteína. Os pontos ruins do hotel foram: o cheiro de mofo no quarto e a porta de vidro que não tinha chave para fechar, logo ficou aberta durante todo o período que estivemos por lá. Fato: o hotel é seguro.

So the rooms are good, spacious and comfortable. The shower is very good in terms of pressure and temperature. It is true what other reviews say about the noise. The walls are thin, and the windows don't insulate well. Make sure you get a quiet room. The negative part is food. It is very low quality. Breakfast for instance is very subpar, but the worse are the room service options. They seem to have been prepared by a student and not by a chef. And I don't really understand it. I mean, breakfast is included, you want to offer a cheap breakfast to save on costs, that's ok. But you charge for dinner, just hire a good chef and increase prices a bit, they are not that high anyway. Another thing that I found unacceptable is that they don't provide bottled water in the rooms, beyond the first day.

Enjoyed the stay - quiet room at the back of the building, very large room, wonderful water pressure, efficient Air/Con. Large shower and decent bathroom lighting. Breakfast buffet was good, ask for eggs how you like them (scrambled, poached etc). Using Google translate, we could communicate with the woman at the front desk. She was very helpful in calling us a radio cab for 3am international flight. Across the street is 24 hr convenience store for those late night snacks! perfect place for overnight or quick stay.
